OUTSTANDING VIDEO- AND A LITTLE ENTERTAINING WATCHING BIG DADDY GETTING HIS "HUSTLE" ON WEARING HIS SLIDES. THANKS FELLAS. TAKING ONE TO A MUSIC FEST IN A FEW WEEKS.
I am a 5’4” 64 year old female. I set the tent up in 90 seconds and took it down in 3 minutes. I failed at getting it in the bag. I will just wrap tne tent in a moving blanket as well as I can when I leave camp. I think you can , also, buy a bigger bag if you want to. This video made it easy for me.
Thank you for full instructional video. My husband went camping and came home without the tent in the bag. (First use) We couldn’t get it figured out from the instructions it came with. I’m sure we can manage now after watching this video!
@@deannapalma3383 same here we opened up the tent we thought maybe we somehow lost the directions I wasn’t until we realized going through the bag. It didn’t come with any.
It took about 5-6 set ups and take downs to figure it out. Was originally shot for my niece borrowing the tent. Then I figured it could help others out.
I tried out my 6 person Core today. Setting up went just fine. Getting it back in the bag was a problem until i found your video. Your technique worked very well. Even got the rainfly in.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting how to take down the tent. Everyone has the assembly but nobody does the disassemble, or if they do it is at high speed or someone is standing in the way. I even got it in the bag on my first try, all without fighting the tent and the tent winning. Well done!
Best instruction video for this tent. I needed to take it down and didn't know how to fold the large bend in the poles. No one else even mentioned this in ALL the take down tent videos, even the company that sells it instructional video! Thanks for the detailed information!
Thanks guys!...........Wrestled it at the campsite, gave up getting it back in the bag. just tossed the whole mess in the back of my SUV. Now I know what I did wrong. ..........Update as far as instructions, they are now attached to the tent bag (although listen to these guys especially when it comes to putting it back in bag, and DEFINITELY buy better stakes, we had some like the ones they show, worked great) BTW great tent for the money, had some nasty wind, rain and some hail 4 nights in a row, tent did great.
@@jamieswing yeah when we found that there were no directions we were watching videos, but no one covered it. There were a few times, figuring out where we just took it and threw it in the back of the car and said we’ll figure it out later.
@@BigDirtyLogistics HEy thanks for the video! You have a very good voice and cadence for videos like these! i just got this tent and im going to try settting it up today! I'm 6'2, do you think I'll be able to fully stand in the tent? I've heard conflicting information about that.

Donna Mardis No problem keep in mind when Mark set it up alone he did so about 4-5 times already. Also there are NO take down directions. I made this video initially for my niece she wanted to use the tent.
Have had this tent for 3 years. Its everything you need for a car camping trip. Little to no water leaks. I do spray mine every season. From car to spot I can have it up in 5 mins with rain fly. 1 person easy set up.
No problem. Trust me it was a big headache for us to figure it out. We finally did it, and said to ourselves we need to put together a video for everyone else who will be pulling their hair out trying to figure this out.
Thank you for making this video dude. Taking my son out West next month and trying to find a comfortable tent that isn't a pain in the ass to put up and take down a every day or two
Thank you for this video!! This makes me more confident I could do this myself. Does anyone have a recommendation/preference between this tent and the "performance" version?? I wish there was a side by side comparison option on Core's site.
I’ll take that instant pop up tent any day then any other tent and if it’s raining out you can just throw a tarp over it and that will keep it warm inside the tent. In Alaska the weather could turn real quick so have the fastest setup is ideal.
Pro tip for anyone watching: open the windows so the air will come out and it'll make this much easier to pack up. I've packed mine up twice now and it's MUCH easier with the windows/door open.
Wonderful video. Glad to see it could be managed solo as it's just me, myself and I camping. Great advice to upgrade the stakes. Did you use the electric cord access? I have to run a cpap machine and that feature us a major selling point for me. Thanks again for the terrific video guys!

Great demo! I have a 12 person core tent. I want to down size to this one as I go camping with the girls (without my hubby and son). I need something simple to take down. Do you think it will fill two cots?
Sorry for the nine month delay. Somehow I didn’t see this one come across my notification. If you haven’t bought the tent yet which I’m sure you have by this point. You can squeeze two queen size air mattresses into it together however, it would not be recommended. 2 cots yes no problem.

I just set mine up. 69 today and 5'2" 120 lbs. the poles are tight! I had to step on the plastic grommets for leverage.
I believe where they show the final "crux" at the end (standing each section up) is the trick to getting it back in the bag.
