Loved every minute of this. I think of myself as an experienced dog person, who can read and deal with a lot of dogs, but I would definitely not have been able to come up with such a great plan and structured training for this guy with his brain on fire haha. Respect.
My Irish Terrier will pace the floor for hours on end if he doesn’t get enough exercise. Hides under the couch/bed, and then talks to me like a husky. Glad to know I’m not alone.
Beautiful dog, great owners. The only problem with this training method: I’m 6’5” and my arms - while long - do not reach down to my shorter IT’s mouth. So I’m walking around like Groucho Marx.
I have the opposite problem. We don’t let our dog encounter other dogs as we’ve had some invasive meetings with those dogs and now my dog is fearful of other dogs. We walk on the other side of the street but still fearful. 😔
Omgoodness this is my dog 😅😅.. except my pup is even a slightly more energetic… he goes absolutely nuts when he sees other dogs and i cant even take him anywhere
I'm getting my first IT this September, I'm beyond excited! Thank you for such a great video.
How is it going with the doggo ?

They are lovable but my mum’s is very energetic 😂
Hector is so cute bless him he just wants to enjoy life😂❤
And that he does to the fullest, what an awesome dog
I love my Irish terrier
Great tips - I can see this working with my Goldendoodle - exactly the same behaviours! Super friendly and playful… but no off switch!

Thank you very much, Hector was a dream to work with 😊

So cute
My 5 month border terrier has become a frustrated greeter. Would I need to use a slip lead or is she too small for one ?

They got the wrong breed this dog is doing exactly what he was bred to be
