Nice to see youtuber flying ultra long haul in economy instead of the luxury classes that most of us can't afford. Oh...and wish I had a bladder that could deal with the windows seat. Returned this week from Copenhagen with SQ. This will be the last time I do ultra long haul in economy. If I can't afford PE or better I won't go. Oh and my flights were like creches!
Most of us that fly economy don't have the opportunity to enjoy a first class lounge. I'd find it difficult to sleep in a seat that only reclined a few inches, but I suppose if I were tired enough I'd do some substantial naps. I wouldn't be pleased with the meal they served you, but I suppose that's the risk you take when you sit in the last row and have to accept whatever is left.

I can tell that must’ve been really painful and irritating to listen to during a moment of great views. Parents should not be bringing toddlers on long haul flights, they must wait until their kid is mature enough for that or make sure they’re well trained parents. Overall, good video. 👍

I bet it's a great employer over there. I kinda wish I could go get a good employment with a great work cutlure and have really fun weekends and vacation times. Just to point out but it can be extremely dangerous not to dim the lights on landing. That's because if you have to evacuate the plane your eyes will have to adjust and that is fatal
I will guarantee the reason they left the lights on was a marketing trick. From the ground the plane looks really good in the sky with all lights blazing. That's QANTAS's thinking nowadays. Bring back the old days.

Just wish old money hungry Joyce felt the same and kept buying them, but bean counters rule supreme. Actually I wish they bought the 747-8. I really feel that on our ultra long flights the 748 just may have delivered the fuel figures they wanted.
The MD has completely wrecked that airline. We have seen bad story after bad story since the Airline restarted its overseas operations. Jetstar had an extraordinary event this week with passengers after a 6 hour delay then a 10 hour flight to Bali the plane landing back in Melbourne. Somebody at Qantas forgot to tell the Indonesians that the Aircraft type had been changed, which is a serious situation. Not to worry though the MD has received his multi million dollar salary. I stopped flying Qantas in 2010.
Joyce was under payed he just sold one of his multi multi million dollar homes in Sydney just to get by, he never even got to live in it with his husband poor guys 😢 I wonder if Ms Hudson will do better?

Flew the exact same route on the exact same plane and registration back in November 2022😂 Great experience tho! When I landed in Heathrow, it was still dark at 6am, so now i get to see what it was like at sunrise

I'll never fly Qantas again or Jetstar. I was so loyal to them but lit appears loyalty goes one way only. Our emails have been ignored so customer service is not on their radar as far as I am concerned.
Yeah there are plenty of shops, it is a pretty short refuelling stop so there isn’t a lot of time to do much. They also clean the aircraft so you do need to take your hand luggage with you.

Babies are scared and their ears hurt. I remember the first time I flew my ears hurt so bad I screamed out loud and I was about 22 years old just freaking out on it.

Not having enough Economy Class meals for economy is pretty poor. Qantas' international catering really is a step below a lot of other carriers.

I did the flight and they ran out of business class meals, I've since switched to Virgin and have yet to have that same issue

Qantas should be the the very best on this Australia/London route given the years of flying long haul. Unfortunately this isn’t so any more.

I liked how they updated the interior of the A380, but what happened to the USB ports? I wished that they put the USBs next to the screens.
Flew on QF1 from SYD to SIN in February 2020, was a great flight!

Yeah there are plenty of shops, it is a pretty short refuelling stop so there isn’t a lot of time to do much. They also clean the aircraft so you do need to take your hand luggage with you.
