I had this with my middle finger months ago. I thought it was a ingrown nail and trimmed the side of the nain accordingly. It got worse and the pain was terrible if i bumped it. Like being hit with a hammer. I didn't want to go to the Dr for treatment, so i tryed wrapping the finger with a tissue, soked in antiseptic cream and electrical tape. After 2 days there was improvement and after a week all was well. 3 weeks later i can still feel as if there's something in the finger but not causing any problems. Im 64 and never had this happen before.

is antibiotic play role in the Mx ?
any collection of pus needs incision &drainage
with proper antibiotics.
Please how cat I treat it
