Following in the footsteps of John Steinbeck's "Cannery Row", the new Mack and the Boys (Alan, John, Mike, Dan, Mike, Jimbo, Karl, Kenne, Buddy, and Glen) continue the legacy!
Jeff, thanks for sharing this wonderful tribute about these unique characters. I've seen many of them for years and had no idea what their lives were about. This is part of what makes Cannery Row such a special place. Zucchini
Allright Jeff. We saw this one first. Super cool. that's a lot of history. i think it's time for another bike ride from PG to Marina. thanks for sharing.
Sax, Immense gratitude for your Cannery Row Revisited! Your engaging character development reminds me of the master himself, Steinbeck! Cannery Row Revisited is a must-watch for us who Love Steinbeck and became better people from his genius. Your epic video embodies Steinbeck's: "If you're in trouble, or hurt or need---go to the poor people. They're the only ones that'll help." Sax, my fond, heartfelt-remembrance of our times together at the magical 807 Cannery Row, in Santa Monica and beyonds. You are a hugely multi-dimensions, vividly-colorful spirit, who immensely enriched my life. Atom
Tides of compassion imbue the Row mosaic with kindness. It's good to see that John and Linda could participate in your film, I remember John from years ago when I lived in the neighborhood and he worked at Barb's. You've been an artistic presence on Cannery Row like the folks you humbly celebrate. Beautiful work, in yet another visual arts medium.
I remember wandering around in the canneries before the fire. Good times. Love this view into some real characters of Cannery Row.
