Thank you, for many years now there has been a restaurant (Thai Kitchen) in the next city over where I end up for work conferences, we always go there for lunch as their food is amazing and I've always gotten the same dish (garlic chicken). I'm about 90% sure our fried garlic is the one thing I've been trying to figure out for years, I'll definitely be trying it this week.
Hello Pai! Thanks for this recipe. It is always my go to dish when i go to Thailand (only 2nd to seafood tomyum though.haha). If it is not too much to ask, would appreciate if you can post the recipe's ingredients and measurements in the description so it is more easy to prepare. Khob khun kha makmak :)
I cooked this dish today along with sticky rice and it turned out delicious. I had marinated the chicken overnight so when I cooked it, it made a thick sauce that I cooked down. Full of flavor. Next time I will use beef or shrimp. The fried garlic made a sweet, crunchiness on top of the chicken. Winner dish.
I made this right after seeing this video. My husband eyes almost popped out when he took a bite. HE LOVES GARLIC and now he really loves this recipe. It will be a new essential in my meal plans. THANK YOU!
I made this last night and it turned out excellent. My son, who is not easy to impress, even said it was really good. I did add some green bell pepper and green onion to it as I cooked it, which turned out great. My biggest pointer is to be patient while cooking the garlic, go low and slow.
Dear Pailin, just made the dish today. So simple, but sooooo delicious. As a side, I added Prik Nam Pla and Nam Jim Jeaw, which - in my opinion - enhances the taste as an additional variety. The chicken was served with Jasmin rice. Thanks a lot for this recipe. Greets.
Me and My mom Cooked this yesterday. and it Turned out Great. alot of my Friends loved it! But we used a Whole Chicken instead. and we Added a Few more tsp of the Sauces. since it was a Whole Chicken. it turned out darker. but it was still good! and Since it was a Whole Chicken. it Released alot more Sauce then Expected. so We Just Told everyone. that they can put the Sauce on top of rice Or just Leave it out. But still! It Turned out Great and i love the dish!
My Thai mom always had a container of crispy garlic around. When she cooked batches it made the house smell so amazing. Thanks for the excellent videos by the way; I am learning so much from them.
This is such a tasty recipe and I make it every couple weeks. The best thing about this was learning to make crispy fried garlic. The garlic oil is wonderful when brushed onto a steak with a dash of Golden Mountain sauce before grilling too!
Because of your receipes, I now finally get my wife to tell me that I was cooking right for her taste! You saved me ahahah, thanks for all those lovely videos/tips/advices!
I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and I actually tried this one today...only I substituted the chicken for pork cause that was all I had thawed on hand, but I incorporated the long beans (minus the salted eggs) in as well and it turned out awesome! my daughter loved it. we love your recipes and I love the fact these Asian recipes, given I'm Asian myself lol...can be so versatile! thank you for your awesome ideas!!!!!
I just used this recipe today! I live in Chiang Mai, and I used everything you described except for the oyster sauce and the cilantro ( my husband doesn't like cilantro). I used cucumber slices to scoop it up with and I added some chilies too. It was delicious! Thank you for the amazing recipe!
You are the only cooking channel I subscribed for. You really makes cooking seem so easy for everyone. Thanks for all your great works there. Truly appreciated krub. ^^
This is so good! Made it several occasion, sometimes I added a little bit dried chilli to satisfy my spicy food craving. I find it a perfect recipe for meal prepping.
I found your video from asking about the best Thai garlic chicken recipe on FB. I changed a few things but it was amazing! Used 4 breasts, no mountain sauce subbed soy, doubled the rest of sauces and added a tbs of chili garlic sauce. Used one whole garlic and both green onion and cilantro. Added broccoli and cooked up some rice as well. I’m in heaven, thank you!
just cooked green curry chicken meat with rice and tom yung koung and mango sticky rice to my bf's family yesterday.they loved Thai food.thank you so much for your tutoring ;)
Really delicious, surprising rewarding for so little fuss and effort and very different. The crispy garlic is much more than a garnish, more a delightful, essential part that adds disproportionaly to the experience. I did treble the pepper. Many thanks Pai.
I made this the other day hoping to surpass a local place's garlic chicken stir fry. I prepared it in a similar way to how they do and substituted about half the meat with oyster mushrooms and fresh water chestnuts. It came out great! Your recipe was the definite winner :)
Just tried this for dinner. You're right... Very fragrant. Thx for explaining why you used 4 diff soya sauce. They certainly made the flavor very rich. I
Thanks for the recipe. We made this tonight. I fried the garlic just a tad too long. My husband thinks it's still good but I haven't had an authentic one to compare with. We'll find out when we get to Phuket this Sunday. Keep cooking, Pai!
Palin!!!!! thank you so much for all of your cooklng videos, u are my angel, i dont need to go back home (hongkong) or thailand to have the thai food that i love!!!! one request i wanna learn the deep fried fish with sour mango fish sauce. i love that fish , plsssss
PailinsKitchen Love your videos. But, I've been wondering. Are you an ethnic chinese Thai? I mean Thailand is so multicultural/multiracial/ethnic like most of southeast asia.
Your personality, presentation and description of your dishes are quite lovely, from a British wanna be chef. Thank you for helping me out with making tasty food.
Your awesome , very good and clear instructions. Looks like your having a ball cooking and always smiling. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more of your recipes,,, 👍🏻😎
just started to watch your cooking shows, which I enjoy very much. On this Garlic/Pepper Chicken, in the end, I would have put about 2 Tablespoon water in the work & got all that flavor out & drizzle it over the Chicken...
My mouth's watering can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing such nice recipes. I have tried most of your dishes and they turned out absolutely delicious. :)
Incredible taste and really very easy to prepare for a quick meal. One more Thai recipe to add to my everyday cooking. Thank you for your great youtube channel!
That looks amazing and I just sent this video to my college daughter who loves to make your recipes with me. Let’s take a minute to talk about those adorable cup you used for ingredients, are those espresso cups😘
Great video! I bought a seasonings mix package and wanted a more in deepth instructions on how to make it. Next time I'll definitely be using your recipe. The cilantro & frying garlic tip, brings so much flavor. Thanks you.
I did this last weekend and it came out great! The only issue was that I use and electric stove top so it took forever for the garlic to brown! - slow and low!....lol.
M J I’m glad that you cook MJ. That’s a good way to pass time after doing homework. Don’t listen to negative comments, just focus on the good things that you do. I’m not your parent but I’m proud of you.🌹
Wow!! Just made this for some guests and it was fantastic! Thanks so much, and for all your other delicious recipes, too. Where do I join your fan club?

Just did this one with cilantro and onions. It turned out delicious! I used Maggie because I can't find the Mountain sauce in Puerto Rico.
Made it tonight! Delicious! Makes me miss Thailand! I lived in the north, so a meal's not complete without sticky rice. Goes great together!
