“Owl 2023 tracer rankings” is definitely not an accurate description of what the criteria is for this list LOL

Profit s tier is a joke. 2020 and 2021 profit yes but 2023 not even clos
Profit may be the GOAT but his Tracer hasn't been S tier this year yet, maybe if he recovers and pounds when he gets back. Viper's Tracer has been a standout for Dragons and a decent rookie performance given he's known to be a Genji main, if he continues to look good and the Dragons improve (somehow) he could be a Rookie of the Year contender.
Also thank you for leaving off non-Tracer performances from the tier, if they haven't played it or in Striker's case, not shown up at all then they shouldn't be here.
Yeah I know what you mean with Profit, so long as Seoul is ass it's gonna be hard to see him as S tier, especially since I think his style of tracer is a bit less independent than proper's for example. Thing is though he did have Stalk3r on the bench even during hard tracer metas last year. I think he's still good as he's ever been but it's gonna be harder to see so long as Seoul is bumcheeks

So Yaki can't go higher and Leave can't go over Stalk3r because of their "best performances" being in 2020 and 2021, yet you obviously put Profit in S-tier because of prior seasons
profit has been A-S tier for his whole time on Tracer in OWL
This just highlights the point that Plat Chat as a whole is mostly feelings and opinions, rather than objectivity

Agree tbh he has way more of an argument to be on this list than other mostly hitscan players like Hydron Lip and Shy

@Plat Chat - You guys should do this for each hero that is being used this season, at least used a good bit. Would be pretty interesting to see a ranking of Hanzo or Ana.

I think they were thinking about this list more as a ranking of which tracer you would want to have on your team rather than a 2023 performance evaluation. Just for fun my edits would be: Profit somewhere around top of A - had one stand out carry performance this year, since then has been the carry for a poorly coordinated team, did get diffed by Viper on pulse bomb sticks even if his neutral was better, but Profit is the GOAT and has shown strong carry potential so you'd still take him over most of A, swap zest and Alphayi - he's putting up absolutely mental stats on a mid table team and you could even make a case for S but Washington have had an easier run in than some other teams, swap pelican and checkmate and then swap pelican and Viper to put Viper at top of B - pelican is having great games but just isn't hard carrying and checkmate is properly popping off at times, it's hard to put Viper higher than top of B since he's a rookie and his team just hasn't been good enough to justify comparing him to the A tier tracers, Proper may not be playing his best season so far and SF shock are terrible but on a coordinated team its more likely than not that he dominates the league
Avast truly has the ability to just talk for 20 fucking minutes and convince people of his opinion just by wearing down their mentals... actually egregious takes coming out of this man

Does Custa have dementia? Or was he just in a coma briefly during the game on Route 66 LAST YEAR when YAKI 1v5 SOLO’D the LA Gladiators AT THEIR PEAK playing TRACER ONLY??! That performance alone would have made him S tier. Sure he’s not playing over KEVSTER but not many other top tracers can 1v5 a top 3 team like he did. B tier for Yaki is just ignorance for the sake of ignorance. Disgusting.
