Just got to a point in the video, Erster did not play Mei on Dragons in 2020... Fleta's Mei was insane that year... And Fleta played literally every flex DPS pick plus hitscan... XD Erster maybe played 1 game at some point.

@@CrazeeAdam he never played an official owl match for shanghai. the only time he played was a map in 2021 preseason something like shanghai masters cup.

Nah man whoru alongside lip literally won shanghai summer shows down last year, he got done dirty in the twenty matchup. Shanghai looked TRAGIC with fleta in, the moment whoru was in they popped off.

Totally agree with avast, Profit is the goat of OW as a whole, Viol2t is the goat of owl, my man has been in 3 grand finals and won 2, could very well get 4 finals appearances, swapped roles and is probably the 2nd best main support itw, the best overall support of all time, and ofc the cassidy god
I wouldnt say 2nd best main support. But he has definitely gotten better at from the time he first swapped onto it

@@timppaaz_ but that's more of just support in general. If ur talking just straight main support i think u could probably put him around top 5. Chiyo, chorong, leejagon, bliss and violet. You could swap violet and bliss. So like 4/5 spot
If Atlanta win this year and Lip wins MVP I think he has a really strong argument for #1. Elite performances every year from him and you could definitely argue him for MVP in season 4 over Leave. I would personally disagree with that but I feel that was the closest MVP discussion to date.
Leave v Proper argument is dumb, the answer is obviously Leave and the simplest point to make for it is, who is in playoffs this year? It's certainly not Proper.

after seeing how many times that "oh if he was on a better team..." narrative doesn't work than what people actually think custa is still saying profit would have won everything if he was on shd or dal. profit is a great player on his own right but his attributes are different to those of fleta's and sparkle's that made the team incredible. those two teams were successful because they had those two specific players.
I love how they straight up considered who's better at Valorant when considering who to pick between Saya and Patiphan.

Violet was a bum in season 4. He was fantastic in seasons 2, 3 and 6, but had amazing teams around him to support him. Season 5 is an anomaly

So I think he had a weird pool in general though. Like his Zarya was nuts, he probably has the best Zarya to this day still.. like maybe even better than people like Hanbin, traditional off tank players. His Tracer was also really good for the time. But outside of that, his hero pool was pretty random at the time. Like he was decent on Sombra, he was a good Doomfist (which saw next to no play outside of 2019 playoffs). But the main thing he was known for, as a player, was oddly enough his Zarya and charging Gravs in like 30 seconds or less. Hard to know where to rate him

Violet is better support, he is better Flex support and he proven to be fanstatic main support.

JJonak never got a ring! I'm sorry but playing for four years with no Championship, not even a Grand Finals, you cannot be the best in your role. Viol2t takes that crown as far as I'm concerned.

The Unkoe vs Rawkus discussion was super interesting because if you include outside of OWL, I’d actually still give it to Rawkus. I think the WC win in 2019 was a massive turning point in OW esports, and sure there was like one or two players that could’ve been swapped off Korea, but only dropping one map at a time when people thought Korea could never lose was huge.

people won’t like this but Choi did retire at the right time, he was falling off. shock had a TON of problems that season but Choi was noticeably performing worse. Unironically super picked it up at the end of the season. Also fearless > Smurf, fearless has a better Winston, rein, ball. Smurf has the advantage on orisa and JQ but that’s it.

no offense to profit and his simps but easily picking profit over lip is incredible to me. what really disturbs me is that profit advocates are always making assumptions that profit could have been more consistent and successful if he was on a better environment against players who have ACTUALLY been so much more dominant successful on a consistent basis.
Yeah I’d take Lip over Profit any day. Lip has been in the running for MVP almost every single year that he’s been in the league and honestly imo should have won it multiple of those years. Poor Lip’s been getting robbed his entire career including by Plat Chat
The one thing I don't get is that.. like no... Dragons wouldn't have been as good with Profit over Fleta when Fleta was at his peak there.. like Fleta was just better and better at the key heroes those years arguably. Like people forget but Profit was not a good Echo back then, especially compared to Fleta, and profit's hitscan was not as good as Fleta's either.... so it's hard to say if he would have found more success on Dragons or not, stuff like that was weird to me that they brought up. While Profit is a great and flexible player, and he's been doing it for longer than just about anyone at a very high level, I think in terms of overall peaks I think Lip may be a bit higher at this point.

Ive been watching OWL since 2019 so I didn't see his first years but since I've been watching he's literally done absolutely nothing for 4 years... 4 years!! Like who even is he? He's a good player on bad teams wow I mean literally so many dps could do the same thing. He's extremely overrated
Leave also won MVP on an even worse team and is more relevant than profit in the last couple years. Why can't profit do the same when he's been on better teams? He's so overrated.
@@CrazeeAdam profit had 1 bad echo meta for 3 weeks and you act like that was his whole time playing echo his whole career in 2021 he had 10fb per 10 playing echo and Fleta hasn’t played hs since 2018??? Profit played it in 2020 finals the same tournament Fleta got benched in and he pounded against Shock, SHD so that’s a odd take from you.
Profit is overrated. LIp should have won against him. Lip is MVP this year and was Imo one of the best if not THE BEST Hitscan last year and he won OWL in season 4 and dragons was also one of the best teams in season 3. Lip has been one of the greatest Hitscans to ever play. Profit was great in season 1 and good in season 5. He missed playoffs in season 4 and got a lucky playoffs run in season 3. Lip is just better
lucky playoff run in season 3 is kinda unfair, he carried his team to the finals, along with the gesture hog. they beat dragons in the head to head too

Seoul s4 was still a good team they went 12-4 he had a good year, s5 was his second best season ever, s6 he got the most potm’s in the whole summer stage when dynasty became competent
Profit has been pounding since season 1 and has never had a bad season despite the highs and lows of the dynasty roster over the years. It's an emotional choice more than pure statistics or achievements but there's a very good reason people would say hes the GOAT.

In no universe can a support player be above Profit, DPS is the most skilled position in the game and Profit is easily the best to ever do it, team achievements when it comes to judging individual performances is also a severely flawed argument.
Thinking like this is pretty stupid.. especially in the past couple of years? What are DPS players main point and role? Deal damage and get picks. Guess what, if you're a great support player you are expected to peel for your team, heal your team, you're usually the major play caller and person who dictates engages, AND you are expected to get picks as well while fending off dives and flankers, especially if you're a flex support like Violet or Shu. Maybe in the start of OW this was true? But not now a days. I can tell this statement comes from a DPS player most likely lol... like.. not to mention, some of the most skill oriented heroes ARE SUPPORTS. Like Ana is by far one of the most skill heavy heroes in the game.
