Except instead of the thing holding your perception back being Alzheimer's, in this case it's some overwhelming alien force that's scattered everything you know and love to bits. It's just all so much bigger than you and it makes my stomach drop on a primal level.
Did it say "Math never existed"? If so, that's a very Esoteric, VERY Terrifying concept, that the fundamental method of both measuring and sorta understanding the Universe, not being real.
This sensence is soooo dumb to me. Ofc it never existed, it has no physical form, it's just a language, a way to describe some stuff that DOES exist. Thus math not existing is not so terryfying to me.
Except it absolutely does exist. From shit like calculating Half Lives to basic "Sally has 4 apples and Ben takes 3, how many apples does Sally have left?", that is actual physical Math.
This is how I think the story goes: The gods and the cycle: We know that the Gods tried to break a cycle (Found in the description of “Everything is happening at the same time.”) This cycle seems to be the maker/god of the Gods (Found in the description of “Everything is happening at the same time.” by saying “The cycle, their god”) The cycle is apparently one of fragmentation. It can be assumed that the cycle of fragmentation produces a group of beings way less powerful than the previous (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”) The gods, when compared to the beings of the previous cycle is something to be eliminated to continue the existence of these beings from the previous cycle (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”) The state of the beings of the previous cycle could be one of nonexistence, unbound by math or existence. I believe this since mere the existence of the Gods disturbs the existential silence, which could be nothingness This would suggest that IT attacking the gods was enacted by these beings of the previous cycle. IT: An object was moving which was erasing galaxies and concepts such as math and existence. (Found in “Existence no longer exists”) The interaction between the gods and IT probably is the war of the Gods Apparently, an encounter called the battle of the gods end extremely quickly. The result being that the gods ceased to exist (Found in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”) The end of existence for the gods was created by the gods themselves (Found in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”) IT likely aren’t the gods’ creation since they seem to not know what IT is in “Existence no longer exists” Celebration orbs were launched in the Milkdromeda year 1924 (Found in both the video and description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”) This would mean that celebration orbs weren’t a response to IT, as first contact came in 2032 but they somehow survived. The gods loses against this thing somehow but there exists pockets of existence which have anti-expansion technology around artificial stars (Found in the description of “Existence no longer exists”) This might be what the Taiga is The cycle (again): The cycle is apparently broken and the gods attempt to be IT. The gods would try to aim for a something to free themselves from their finite torture. (Found in the description of “Existence no longer exists .”) While some have suggested that it refers to life, I disagree, as the gods have been stated to be able to create infinite universes, I doubt that immortality would be difficult for them. Rather, I believe that the gods are trying to escape existence. If they do so and become non-existent, they would become IT by being in a state of non-existence like how IT is. Doing so, they would also break the cycle as existence is no more; the former beings from the previous cycle wouldn’t need to destroy existence anymore as it the Gods themselves have done so The rest of the description of “Existence no longer exists .” I have no hopes of understanding what it means though The Jump: During the War of the Gods, a Jump occurs We know that this jump refers to time travel to a different timeline (Found in the paper in the description of “Existence no longer exists”) We also know that this jump wasn’t effective (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”, with the jump described as “ineffective”) The Taiga: A section of space where existence exists (Found in “The External Reality of Finiteness .”) This section of space has order and mathematics, which is described to be a virus by the narrator in “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .” which are in non-existence somehow (Found in “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”) These beings try to analyze the Taiga and will be referred to as Non-existers for convenience The Non-existers: The non-existers study and write papers on the Taiga They seem to try and formalize the ideas of concepts, things, time, and understanding (Found in the paper in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”) The specifics of the paper and the methods of the non-existers to obtain that knowledge is best understood by reading the paper in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”
"class is cancelled, the fundamental law of the reality that allows for the subject of this class to exist has been erased from existence" the math teacher singlehandedly reforging reality itself to force me to come to class:
"Math never existed" Hits really hard and basically means anything we knew about existance and space is false, -> anything can happen and exist at any time, anywhere. And in the end it looks like the space of space has been broken and we can see something like angels/figures in some type of place, i'll just call it "heaven".
@@OlTimeyChara Listen if I can see star systems in the distance, I can presumably go to them and land on sweet god blessed terra firma. To me, that existence is damn good enough for me
So the people of the universe tried becoming gods by inventing a machine that erased the laws keeping them mortal. But they didn’t realize that existence couldn’t exist without those rules so they doomed themselves to nothingness. Oh the irony…
I’m pretty sure there’s more information on this is the other videos on this channel which is how these people are coming to this conclusion idk I haven’t watched the rest of them yet
This was a wonderful visual and auditory experience. Not enough analog horror projects let the viewer just have a moment to take it all in. Sometimes that breathing room makes what comes next infinitely more terrifying. Well done.
Fun science note: Milkdromeda does not exist ... Yet, and won't for another 4.5 billion years. So although the year is given as 2023, the events of this video will not take place until the far future.
@@V0IDWAREYou are guessing, what is year zero? Which galaxy? Milky Way, Andromeda, or Milkdromeda? Regardless, my point was only that the 2023 was deceptive, it is not in the recent passed but the far future.
DUDE THIS IS FIRE, aliens remind me of war of the worlds, but this is the best horror vid ive seen in a long time, i cant describe how much i love this
I think it means that Math, as a concept, never existed. Which means that those triangles would be large AND small at the same time since there's nothing that governs its size. Places would be far and small and moments feel like forever. Or something.
So what I'm seeing from this, is that Humanity somehow managed to bypass the laws of physics, and the laws of the universe, and created something that tore apart the fabric and laws of the universe, reducing it to a broken mess. The universe basically short circuited and lost all of it's sense of reality, endlessly creating things that make no sense, with no practicality, it's just a vast wasteland of random things spread over an infinite expanse of nothing, really terrifying shit.
I don't think it's really humanity the responsibe. The "Everything is happening at the same time" video makes me think it's about something so beyond that humanity doesn't really have any importance to this story.
There are few works i encounter that try their hand at this, which i'd call cosmic horror but it's actually advanced math. Hard Sci-fi usually gets kinda bogged down with uncompelling characters that have to be there to make a human connection with the reader. It's a struggle to make a layman excited for something complicated but i think your attempt is really fun. Even in the limited space of current year on earth you'll find like minded folks who think this infinite math is rad and fun to think about. Hope you keep it up.

type 1 has control of the entire planet type 2 the solar system type 3 the galaxy type 4 galaxy clusters type 5 super galaxy clusters type 6 the universe type 7 the universe
Okay, I'm hooked. I'm seeing a LOT of threads that connect, but every time I try to come up with something, I discover something else. This is cosmic horror beyond cosmic horror. To the best of my understanding, I have gleaned a list of things I haven't yet connected: -Taiga and The British Sea are related and important concepts. Possibly our universe. I feel like The British Sea refers to a far flung futuristic humanity. The reason I say this is because "The British Sea" doesn't exist irl, it doesn't make sense for the gods to use a strictly human term, and it's referenced in the paper from the third video as being something worth researching. An anomaly of sorts. Idk. -The gods exist outside of existence and are semi-sentient. -The gods create (unintentionally?) concepts that create universes, but exist outside of them. -The gods are stuck in a cycle they are unaware of, but the cycle of gods that become aware react violently to end the cycle. -Ending the cycle means ending creation and leaving the gods in a permanent loop where only thought exists. It's horror for everyone involved, even (especially) the gods. -The war and the cycle exist simultaneously within a single instant. This also means all universes exist within a single instant. There are actually sound theories that already support this idea. -Time travel is a thing and it plays a role in the gods, who exist outside of time and would not likely be affected by time travel, becoming aware of the cycle. I think humans play a role in this war. - The gods created a calendar... This is the part I probably struggle with most and feel like I may be misinterpreting the most. They did this to experiment with the lesser gods and their universes. - Humans, if they are present in this story, are unaware of ANY of these events until it happens. And in any case, they are entirely powerless to stop it, given they exist. - The gods are not entities or even representations of concepts. They are non-mathematical algorithms. They are programs that simply are, but do not exist. Like how we humans interact with the fourth dimension... We don't. - It's possible that humans discovered the gods and became lesser gods or tried to become like the gods, which set things off (because remember... the gods don't exist... Humans do. It would have been an impossible feat). If this is the case, it would explain why the gods were so fixated on one particular sub-sub-sub-...sub-universe. It may also explain the description in "Existence no longer exists." But that just feels too easy given how abstract the other three videos are, so I'm not sold on this idea. I think humans are just observers of this phenomenon. -Another thing that throws me off is the line, "It was only a matter of time before the corpse of the Laniakea supercluster followed suit to make space for a new cycle." The opening to this video feels like the first and only time we see something from the POV of humanity... But it uses the same calendar created by the gods earlier. This is why I feel like I'm missing something and humans are more-or-less irrelevant. There's a LOT more to unpack, but I only found this series an hour and a half ago, so this is all I've got. However, I do know that if humans are present, they are absolutely in the distant future, given the terms used (especially Milkdromeda). Lots of mysteries remain, though. I'd love to see more from Unorthodox Kitten. This is by far the most interesting internet horror series I've come across. But maybe I'm just a sucker for cosmic horror.
I cannot begin to say how cool this is. It's very different and It captures the whole loneliness and fear of space so well. I'm intrigued to see how this progresses.
Cosmic horror is incredibly hard to get perfectly, but when it is, it'll hurt you. Make you feel things you've never felt, things you thought you could no longer feel. Dread, sadness, fear, all combined into a perfect whole of supreme terror.
People who hate math are rejoicing! Jokes aside though, this is a terrifying concept! As a fellow Analog horror creator, it's always good to see some inspiring ideas!
Based on the description, seems like an opposite scenario to parinirvana. (Parinirvana = when you die as an enlightened being and stop your cycle of death and rebirth) Banger video & soundtrack.
Existance collapsing, you, idle in motion, present in something that isn't present, yet once was. All that is everything is collapsing, steeple bells ring, galaxies simply are no more, an empty, silence replacing the husks that was everything. You, idle and fortunate- or even unfortunate, gaze. As everything is come nothing, and nothing, everything. A look up, as all that was decays, vanishes, and simply replaced with nothing, you ask, to the void, "God, why...?" In a raspy, depressed tone. And from the heavens, in a divine tone, of elegance, chivalry, and hope, does through the ear ring the reply, "shit dawg mb, misclick"
I have been binge watching this stuff and good lord this is on another level of godlike. I can’t wait to see what you cook in the future cause I’m exited as one can physically achieve.
This is exactly what I expect an analog horror to be. Deeply unsettling in a strange way. But like a car crash, you are horrified but can't look away. It's perfect

Except instead of the thing holding your perception back being Alzheimer's, in this case it's some overwhelming alien force that's scattered everything you know and love to bits. It's just all so much bigger than you and it makes my stomach drop on a primal level.
Well, for me its reminds of Giygas from Earthbound, but much more intimidating.
Did it say "Math never existed"? If so, that's a very Esoteric, VERY Terrifying concept, that the fundamental method of both measuring and sorta understanding the Universe, not being real.
"fuck you math doesn't exist"
"proof?"
"the proof is I made it the fuck up"
This sensence is soooo dumb to me.

This is how I think the story goes:
The gods and the cycle:
We know that the Gods tried to break a cycle (Found in the description of “Everything is happening at the same time.”)
This cycle seems to be the maker/god of the Gods (Found in the description of “Everything is happening at the same time.” by saying “The cycle, their god”)
The cycle is apparently one of fragmentation. It can be assumed that the cycle of fragmentation produces a group of beings way less powerful than the previous (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”)
The gods, when compared to the beings of the previous cycle is something to be eliminated to continue the existence of these beings from the previous cycle (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”)
The state of the beings of the previous cycle could be one of nonexistence, unbound by math or existence. I believe this since mere the existence of the Gods disturbs the existential silence, which could be nothingness
This would suggest that IT attacking the gods was enacted by these beings of the previous cycle.
IT:
An object was moving which was erasing galaxies and concepts such as math and existence. (Found in “Existence no longer exists”)
The interaction between the gods and IT probably is the war of the Gods
Apparently, an encounter called the battle of the gods end extremely quickly. The result being that the gods ceased to exist (Found in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”)
The end of existence for the gods was created by the gods themselves (Found in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”)
IT likely aren’t the gods’ creation since they seem to not know what IT is in “Existence no longer exists”
Celebration orbs were launched in the Milkdromeda year 1924 (Found in both the video and description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”)
This would mean that celebration orbs weren’t a response to IT, as first contact came in 2032 but they somehow survived.
The gods loses against this thing somehow but there exists pockets of existence which have anti-expansion technology around artificial stars (Found in the description of “Existence no longer exists”)
This might be what the Taiga is
The cycle (again):
The cycle is apparently broken and the gods attempt to be IT.
The gods would try to aim for a something to free themselves from their finite torture. (Found in the description of “Existence no longer exists .”)
While some have suggested that it refers to life, I disagree, as the gods have been stated to be able to create infinite universes, I doubt that immortality would be difficult for them. Rather, I believe that the gods are trying to escape existence. If they do so and become non-existent, they would become IT by being in a state of non-existence like how IT is. Doing so, they would also break the cycle as existence is no more; the former beings from the previous cycle wouldn’t need to destroy existence anymore as it the Gods themselves have done so
The rest of the description of “Existence no longer exists .” I have no hopes of understanding what it means though
The Jump:
During the War of the Gods, a Jump occurs
We know that this jump refers to time travel to a different timeline (Found in the paper in the description of “Existence no longer exists”)
We also know that this jump wasn’t effective (Found in the description of “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”, with the jump described as “ineffective”)
The Taiga:
A section of space where existence exists (Found in “The External Reality of Finiteness .”)
This section of space has order and mathematics, which is described to be a virus by the narrator in “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .” which are in non-existence somehow (Found in “Infinity, Singularity, and The Rapture .”)
These beings try to analyze the Taiga and will be referred to as Non-existers for convenience
The Non-existers:
The non-existers study and write papers on the Taiga
They seem to try and formalize the ideas of concepts, things, time, and understanding (Found in the paper in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”)
The specifics of the paper and the methods of the non-existers to obtain that knowledge is best understood by reading the paper in the description of “The External Reality of Finiteness .”
Holy shit, give this man an award

"Math never existed" Hits really hard and basically means anything we knew about existance and space is false, -> anything can happen and exist at any time, anywhere. And in the end it looks like the space of space has been broken and we can see something like angels/figures in some type of place, i'll just call it "heaven".
The angels are more like aliens that are so advanced that they are like gods through our perspective.

It's just the one existence that no longer exists. The other existences still exist.
So the people of the universe tried becoming gods by inventing a machine that erased the laws keeping them mortal. But they didn’t realize that existence couldn’t exist without those rules so they doomed themselves to nothingness. Oh the irony…

The thing about where it says math never existed is that it never really did, it is just us trying to make sense if the universe.
Yea, saying math never existed is just like saying virtual characters never existed
I think it means that Math, as a concept, never existed.

I can hear the sound effect for the Alien message in “Contact” in the background
"911 what is the emergency?"
"MY MATH ISNT MATHING"
Okay, I'm hooked. I'm seeing a LOT of threads that connect, but every time I try to come up with something, I discover something else. This is cosmic horror beyond cosmic horror.
To the best of my understanding, I have gleaned a list of things I haven't yet connected:
-Taiga and The British Sea are related and important concepts.
From what i saw, i think the Taiga data cluster somehow managed to escape

The new event in "Voices of the Void" looks wonderful!
