It's the camera angle. If the camera is more towards (or slightly forward) of the left foot then the ball looks further back in the stance. If the camera is more towards the back foot (right foot) then the ball would look further forward. To be fair, Rory tends not to have the ball much forward of centre unless he's hitting a driver (especially if he wants a particular flight pattern). Thanks Michael
There is no sound available on high-frame rate cameras once the frame-rate is above 100 frames per second. These videos are shot on 250 frames per second. The technology of these cameras does not allow sound-capture at the same time in the same way there is no sound on PGA Tour footage of slow-motion swings (i.e. that's why commentators always talk over the high-slow motion swing sequences). Thanks.
It's mostly just the perspective of the camera being slightly ahead of the player. Albeit Rory does like placing the ball back a little and covering it with the upper body and keeping the flight down a bit.
why is ball position so left?

Looks like he's trying to hit a low trajectory shot.

Is that Ryan Giggs on left during the long iron?
Yes..well spotted!
sway drill- note to self don't mind me
Is it normal to have the ball teed up so far back or is that just a Rory thing?
