- I've spent the past few month exploring Bristol for Only Fools filming locations...but now it's time to head somewhere slightly bigger and continue the search there! London is where Only Fools and Horses is set, and therefore of course lots of the most famous scenes in the show were filmed there! I'll be doing plenty more London videos exploring some areas on the outskirts more, but for today I'm taking on central London and trying to pack in as many Only Fools filming locations as I can...before my train goes home!

Another Nick Lyndhurst connection with Southwark bridge is that it was used in an episode of Goodnight Sweetheart where he says farewell to Ron when he's going back to the past, forget the name of the episode now tho
Great spot!
Remember Jason and the Argonauts and famous Only Fools and Horses 🏛Sir David Jason🏛
Sir David John White OBE (born 2 February 1940), known professionally by his stage name David Jason, is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as Derek "Del Boy" Trotter in the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, Detective Inspector Jack Frost in A Touch of Frost, Granville in Open All Hours and Still Open All Hours, and Pop Larkin in The Darling Buds of May, as well as voicing Mr. Toad in The Wind in the Willows, the BFG in the 1989 film and the title characters of Danger Mouse and Count Duckula. His most recent appearance in the role of Del Boy was in 2014; he retired his role as Frost in 2010. He voices Captain Skipper, the uncle of Pip in the preschool focused series Pip Ahoy!
In September 2006, Jason topped the poll to find TV's 50 Greatest Stars, as part of ITV's 50th anniversary celebrations. He was knighted in 2005 for services to acting and comedy. Jason has won four British Academy Television Awards (BAFTAs), (1988, 1991, 1997, 2003), four British Comedy Awards (1990, 1992, 1997, 2001) and seven National Television Awards (1996 twice, 1997, 2001 twice, 2002 and 2011). 🏛OFAH🏛

One of the better videos on UA-cam showing the locations, well done Ash!
Thank you Mike - I’ve done several in London, 4 in Bristol, and am planning on doing more in 2022!
you also covered the Thames where Rodney and Del try to scatter Triggers Grans ashes in the river in the ep Ashes to Ashes and they get escorted off by the river police lol
Ah yes, good spot!
Brilliant Ash only fools and horses the greatest
The one place you was not far from is Shadwell Basin, where Albert talks about the old days and how the docks used to be when he was a kid.
Its the scene where Albert and Rodney walk off as Del Boy goes on about how much all the new apartments are worth in the area Albert had lived.
Got it in the next video!
Awesome mate :). Before of after, I've met up with my mate in London, I'll go hunting for OFAH filming locations :)
Did you manage to do it?
Don't forget that also nearby is The Imperial War Museum with its big guns
where Del got a shock during a thunder storm while looking for Uncle Albert.
By the way Southwark Bridge is pronounced "Suvvark" not "South-walk".
I bet you are starting to realise just how big London is. Trying to do all the locations in one day or even a weekend isn't really possible. I love walking historical London but it does give the old plates a bashing!
Yes, covered that in another video! 👍
@FromTheAsh Luvvly jubbly. I've just subscribed so I've got some catching up to do.
Cushty...
Really enjoyed watching this Ash you did it very well look forward to watching more of them
Thanks James!
It's sad but also joyful to see what is left of the Only Fools locations
Agreed, very mixed.
Dury lane one royal flush loved hearing bizets carmen and Del Boy getting it wrong figaro from barber Seville 🤣
Classic!
I love all these I'm a only fools fanatic and seeing the locations is amazing plus you seem like a genuinely nice bloke
Thank you!
Cool stuff dude, I took the photos that were on the ofah associations website for ages. Did the locations when I was about 12 in 2006 in London and Bristol. Was very hard in those days without smartphones I used to circle locations on my A-Z…
Amazing! Had great fun shooting them, and hoping to tackle some more locations soon!
I'm sure HMS Belfast was used in "Diamonds are for Heather " too
Yes you're right, very briefly!
Another Great Video, keep them coming. Thanks again.
Thanks, will do!
seeing the miami locations would be sick. i hope you can get to do that
If someone pays for my flight I’m there!
not sure if you've already covered it, but just found another location for the episode Dates, when Rodney gets chased by those hooligans, They pull out on Roycroft Road, Bristol where Rodney flips them off.
Covered! Thanks though!
And now showing the stage show at the very theatre!!
No way! Would love to go see it!
Quality, going down there next week was thinking of doing this
Glad you enjoyed it Tommy!
Are you going to do a video in London with the original Nelson Mandela House the one that was used from Series 1 to series 5
I’ll get there!
