- I thought I had found them all, but once you all got in touch and sent me more places to visit, I knew part 4 of my Only Fools and Horses locations in Bristol series was a go! I was working the night they filmed Batman and Robin I will never forget it. They stopped outside Sport and Ski and I was the Manager. We all slept there to watch as we were asked to leave the lights on to make it look like 10pm but it was actually 4am! - happy days

As a schoolboy I remember buying cider and getting totally pissed in that alley next to the Bristol Hippodrome 😂 😂 😂 😂

I’ve lived next door to Greenbank Cemetery since 2008 but only started walking around it in lockdown during our government mandated hour long walks! Blew my mind when I sat down to watch Only Fools and discovered I’d lived next door to an iconic location (even though the series truly ends when they become millionaires in my eyes)
I lived near Greenbank Cemetary between 1976-1992. I lived on (what was called) the new estate, lived at Bay Gardens next to the field to the side of Rosemary Lane

20 years a Bristol resident. Re the dolls- I think you’re in the right area, but it’s over the river you should be looking. The outer shell of the buildings was kept and refurbished.

I lived in Bristol in the 80's when OFAH was being filmed. Never lucky enough to see any of them though! Also, I lived three streets away from where The Young Ones was mainly filmed, in the 1980's, and unfortunately I never saw any of them either!!!
Never got into The Young Ones I must admit!

Good job on the Dirty Barry alley. I was just watching Danger UXD and scoured Google maps trying to find the location to no avail. I knew it must be near a theatre going by the sign in the background.

@@FromTheAsh have you been to the locations for episodes a slow bus to Chingford and a hole in one 🤟
Open all hours was mainly filmed in Boulby near Doncaster or the shop is and Nurse Gladyis house.The shop is a hairdressers in real life.Not too sure where pilot episode was filmed though as apparently a different shop used.

Gas Ferry Road, there is the best cider pub in Bristol, The Orchard, really enjoyed this fools and horses guide

absolutely love these videos really brings back memories of only fools and horses and even inspires me to go around london itself to take photos or perhaps videos of locations that were used to film only fools and horses in london infact i plan to visit shadwell basin which was referred to tobacco road where of course albert was found by del and rodney defo something im gonna do :)

Suppose most locations in Fools And Horses weren't shot in Peckham except for local filming for London and it was cheaper to find similar locations in additional locations. One thing is the graveyard clips I am sure in some episodes they used different locations in additional shots for contrast. Know one or two separate episodes used the same footage from different angles in some locational shots. The one that gets me laughing, though a sad one is Uncle Albert's double funeral in the same location think it was where they filmed another thing not sure what it was near to another series location.
Oddly sometimes I think some of those locations have appeared in other comedy series like some classic ones and just wondering if there are connected locations to other shows. Comedy locations in favourite series or dramatic series especially comedy-drama, there is a connection centering around Good Night Sweetheart and Fools And Horses locations in South London and Peckham Rye and Oxford Street. Isn't there also The Sweeny?

Hi did Boycie's car lot have more than one location for filming as I see on another bloggers chanel that it was in Kingsbury green London.'
Potentially for earlier series’ yes, but when filming moved to Bristol (I believe Season 6 onwards) it was always this location.
Have you found the mansion from the crystal chandelier episode?

The Cemetary scene is at the end of Greenbank Road, and it's on the border of Eastville....... The East of the City not the North Mate 😉

@@FromTheAsh understand that totally but as a local I had to point it out. Try Stapleton Rd, as I suggested in another video.
From Dates (Car Park Scene with Raquel) flats now but the road layout is the same.......
Towards the end of Stapleton Rd not far from Lawford Gate and Trinity Rd Police Station
I can understand why they chose parts of Bristol for filming as it has to be one of the Best parts of Britain? I think Nik Kershaw moved there from Ipswich area and Ralph McTell commented it was his favourite location to perform. Cushty detective work!!

From the introduction of Uncle Albert onward. So, series 4? Just cheaper, I suppose. Cardiff was popular with production companies in the 2000s for the same reason.
I'm not saying your wrong but why are some of the graves missing from your video when in the photo from OFAH they are there? I'm a little confused why you didn't line up the same shot.
Very tricky to get the shot exact due to the presence of new graves, overgrowth and trees which weren’t there when the show was filmed - worth remembering this was filmed over 20 years ago. The location is correct even if the angles are not.
@@FromTheAsh fair enough, still a good video though. Haven't watched OFAH for a couple of years now think I'll watch some Christmas specials tonight.
