I enjoyed both the movie and the show, though in my opinion, Ambika Mod was a better Emma than Anne Hathaway, since her portrayal was more true to the book's version.
I haven’t read the book and the movie was my introduction to this story. So Anne’s Emma is very special to my heart ❤️ i know Emma’s life is not supposed to be all sunshine and rainbow, but the way Ambika portrayed her was very serious and grumpy at times which made me dislike Emma’s character on the show a bit. But i love both Dexters ❤️ i think both actors nailed their roles
Anne Hathaway & Jim Sturgess are the best actors for "One Day" movie. They are so sweet, there is chemistry between them. I simply love the movie. I found it hard to watch the TV series because of the bad casting.
I was never a fan of Anne as Emma Morley. As a fan of the book, Ambika just was Emma Morley in ways that Anne never could be. Also, Anne's British accent was embarrassingly bad, I'm glad two British actors play Emma and Dexter in the new version.
