There was an essence made by Mile High that was super awesome, no longer available and sure missed by a bunch of us…Honey Scotch Whiskey. That would be super kewl if that could be brought back to market.
Will you be looking at doing other styles of whisky like Glen Fiddich, Laphrog? Maybe some of the Australian whiskies? The better ones that are a bit more exy to buy? Also other styles of Gin maybe?
The amount of work in developing these would blow you away actually. We will only release styles that we are confident in, but really want as great a variety as possible
Yes we have one already. I have done side by side tasting with ours and the real Bombay. What I noticed is that when you mix ours it starts off with a slightly stronger juniper aroma but then after about 1 month after you mix it the flavour and aroma between ours and Bombay is very similar. Would be keen to get your opinion too!
That should be fairly straight forward. Just out of interest have you tried this punchy flavor: www.kegland.com.au/products/punchy-raspberry-flavour-natural-50g You would probably get quite close if you used this, added about 10% sugar and then a dark red coloring. This punchy flavor is 100% naturally derived raspberry flavor.
About 20 years ago there was a product on the market called Hoyts essence, that stuff was great, bottle shops used to sell it, I think $5 a bottle, there was some loophole so there was no alcohol tax on it, eventually they banned it, there was one called Black sambuca, that would be a great flavor in your line up. Also there is no info out there how to brew spirits, I'm an all grain brewer and there is heaps of 'how too' videos on brewing all grain beer out there but none on spirit making, is it possible you could put together a video on how to make it and also a video on all grain brewing for beginners who have moved over from kit & Kilo because I have a few people who tell me they want to buy a Brewzilla but they said they have no idea how to get started
Wonderful product Kegland! You guys are amazing when it comes to innovation. So I have a suggestion/challenge for you... The current essence volumes are so random, 1.25 liters per sachel. WTF? INSANITY! Make the fucking things 1.4 litres per sachel AT LEAST, that breaks down to 2 regular bottles. You guys have broken industry standards in the past, and it's time to bring yoru power to do it again!! Kegland FTW! PLEASE End the insanity. Thank you :)
Because we use a sachet you can't just seal the lid and safe the remainder for later. As a result we thought it would be a good idea to make the sachet a bit smaller. Also one sachet is about the right size if you want to mix up on 9.5L keg.
@kegland Have you all tried to use the bourbon or whiskey essences to mix with beer? Would be cool if you could simulate a BBA stout without a barrel or aging.
It's not illegal to buy vodka and essence it. Besides which, although it is, in fact, illegal to *distill* your own spirit, they don't enforce the law on hobbyists who do not sell that spirit.
@@vtbn53 they do when you have a firearms license a do a safe inspection and see an illegal still working away right next to your gun safe lol So these essence packs just work with vodka?
Hell yeah cant wait to try
Thanks. We are really keen to see what you think.

I would agree that a honey whiskey would hit the spot!
@kegland I'd also love a honey whiskey like the wild Turkey version
A Peanut Butter Whisky like Sheep Dog would be great, and I dont think anyone else makes it at the moment
That sounds like a good idea. This should not be every difficult to do.
Um It's like Kool-Aid but for adults 🤯 I'm thirsty! Awesome video🍸🍸
Thanks Bradley!
This will be a gamechanger
It's ethanol cordial
@@PetraKann I love cordial, never use anything else.
@@vtbn53 What about Kool Aid?
@@PetraKann We don't have Kool Aid in Australia, at least I have never seen it, but I am aware of the phrase "don't drink the Kool Aid".
Yes we are keen to see how they go. It's a relatively big market in Australia.
Excellent, order inbound!
thanks for the support. Look forward to hearing back from you!
Campari essence - geez this would be nice to have.
Amaretto
Banana Liqueur
Peach Essence - think like Absolute Vodka Peach

Grand Manier/Contreau without colour would be awesome!

@@KegLand sold, to the boozer in Sydney! I hope they're good, we just bought a bunch and we would like to buy many more
Chambord would be great, no other company makes it anymore. Get on it guys

Second the sheepdog whiskey
And a rum that replicates ratu,
Hit those flavours and I will buy them exclusively
Thanks

@kegland Have you all tried to use the bourbon or whiskey essences to mix with beer? Would be cool if you could simulate a BBA stout without a barrel or aging.
Yes this works well. You can put these products directly into the keg of beer and make a bourbon ale. I can confirm this works for sure.
Im trying to place an order now but saying the code isnt availabile right now?
Can you please email us and we should be able to sort that out.
Fireball?
A man of few words. I like it. Maybe
Elderflower liqueur
That is a good idea. I will take this to the other guys and see what they think.
Tequila tequila tequila
Which tequila do you prefer? We have a couple that are getting packed now and will be on the website soon.
BUT Kee is in melbourne lol

You can purchase vodka and add the essence if you like. Alternatively you can get a permit from the ATO to distill your own alcohol.
Just for the record france and holland are in Europe hahaha
Yes sorry slip of the tongue. I probably didn't need to go say multiple countries in Europe.
