Wobble is almost certainly due to being a heavy ebike with the front wheel insufficiently loaded down. On a motorcycle, you’d adjust the suspension and, at high speed, use a steering damper. The reason that overinflating the front tire or putting cargo in the front rack resolved the issue is because those things either made the front “suspension” (air in the tire) stiffer or put more load on the front wheel (stuff in front rack). Riding one hand exacerbated the issue because having only one hand on the bars reduces the weight on the front wheel.
Ok, so suspension tuning is more of an art and not a science, and on a good day, I’m still gluing dry noodles onto construction paper. After thinking more, I think I got it backwards-wobble is probably from the front wheel hitting objects and bouncing into the air. In other words, the front suspension is too stiff relative to your rear suspension. You’d still want to load the front suspension to resolve the issue, but you’d want to make the front suspension softer (less air in front) relative to the rear (more air in back) and adding air to the REAR tire is probably what helped.
tl;dr: suspensions are hard to tune.
I would think the Caster Angle would limit the wobble.
WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM KBO I HAVE THE RANGER 8MO OLD 160+ MILES AND ITS BROKE IN GARAGE. KBO WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY. IVE BEGGED THESE PEOPLE. THEY KNOW THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO NOW THAT ITS 8MO OLD SO IM SCREWED!! DO NOT BUY FROM KBO IM WARNING YOU GOD LISTEN
KBO WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY
So should we lower the air in the front tire a bit?
Hey guys !
You'd want to remove the cage when carrying an adult to allow them to escape in case of a crash !!
The best part of the video is the EUC; I'm the EX.N rider and using an e-bike to commute to work.
Tightening the bolt at the top of your fork, took up slack in the headset. This is likely what solved your speed wobble.
Cane Creek sells a steering damper for bikes that exhibit this behavior even after the headset is adjusted. Their damper is actually a replacement headset, and the stiffness of the damper is adjustable by rearranging the discs in the headset.
I work right by this video in Centennial!
Blaugh... The Lectric killed it
This is a cool bike. currently shopping around for one. I have the Rad Wagon and the Specialized Haul ST on my list.
I've had mine almost a year. Go ahead and order front and back spokes now. Plus also extra planetary gears. It just takes months for them to ship parts. I ordered extra tires and inner tube from Rad. Other than the shipping parts from over seas its a solid bike. I love it.
Front n back spokes, what happens to the spokes that you need to buy new ones n replace them?
What are planetary gears n why do you need to replace them?
@@michaeljohn7467 they become loose and sometimes they break. It's just a consumable it's a thing you have to buy happens with all bikes
@@michaeljohn7467 because the planetary gears are pretty heavy-duty but they're made of nylon. They break so the entire motor doesn't, it's a fail safe.. theyre Gears inside the Hub motor. Just Google it
Hey Jimmy
You should try out the ride runner by rad power. They’re amazing bikes.
That wobble is strange.
It’s the first we’ve seen in an Ebike.
I have same problem - bike is fine with no cargo, but even slight weight on rear carrier means bad wobble.
On my motorcycle i had certain types of tires that would cause speed wobble due to the thread pattern
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I love the center stand, all scooters or bikes should have those, would make changing tires etc much easier
Does your steering dampener work on the Kaabo Skywalker 8S?
Company needs to address the wobble. Definitely a safety hazard
probably wil make an excellent ebike packer or camper
Where did you get the screws to mount the rear fence/cage to the bike? Did they come with the bike or with the fence/cage? My fence didn't come with any attachment screws.
The only thing I don't like is the low top speed, the fiido t1 is the same price and does 30mph.
I'll check it out!
Look up death walble
With that tremor that he has, I can't take my grandchildren anywhere and having to take them for the repair, unfortunately, doesn't interest me at all.

"A Most Affordable", the title doesnt sound right.
Mechanical breaks is a hard no for hauling things or people
Yeah. Disappointing that both KBO and Rad Powered Bikes went with mechanical breaks.
@@freshlycharged also no suspension is kinda a pain too but more doable
Yoooooooooooooooooooo
