A nice bike, a very nice review. I appreciate the input you guys give on the e-bikes, it is very helpful. Glad to see you two healthy and still making videos, keep up the good work. ~AB~

7:20 while that works, i think its important to point out, that caliper has an active side, where the cable is attached and a passive on the inside. You can move/adjust the passive side with a hex key wrench from the inside (through the spokes if the caliper is mounted). Ideally the passive pad is retracted fully since a new pad has a lot of material and you have room to push the pad further out if it wears down.
To adjust the whole caliper you can simply loosen it and move it over so the passive side makes contact with the disk. No need to do any kind of spinning and self centering, because ultimately, the only correct position is to have the passive side as close to the disk as possible. You can take a piece of paper in between so you have just a hairs width until the passive pad makes contact. Then you tighten the caliper and watch if the disk is not bending when you move the active piston. Watch this occasionally after some time, and if the disk bends, go through the spokes with the wrench and turn it a few clicks moving the passive pad back to the disk.

That’s helpful 👍 The issue was a bent fork that was later replaced by KBO. No amount of adjustment of the caliper could account for it, unfortunately.

I very much enjoyed your review. My only qualification is that, having worked in emergency rooms, I have seen far too many fractured skulls (many with deceased or permanently disabled bodies attached) resulting from the lack of a bike helmet. Given that you are a presenter and a role model, I encourage you to wear helmets during your rides.

We are not role models . We are reviewing bicycles . I would love to hear about all the ways you would encourage safety in my life. Diet suggestions? Exercise recommendations ?

I would suggest that if you are a presenter/influencer, you are a role model. Spend a little time at a local hospital. Emergency room. Talk to some emergency room doctors. As a presenter, you are in my position to influence people, and to potentially save lives.

Poster @christophersenn1304 is right - a Kaiser Hospital brain surgeon I know had tears in his eyes as he begged me: "Please make your kids wear a helmet, all your friends too. I just had to pronounce a 12 year old girl brain dead, her scooter tipped over at a light and she hit her unprotected head on the street."
If you want to be an influencer, you owe it to your followers to demonstrate safety 🤩.

Sounds like a good charity for you to start . Getting bike helmets to kids that need them.
