    Never fussed about doing Crossfit or heard of your channel up until 2 weeks ago. Now, a combination of the Crossfit documentaries and watching 2 years worth of your channel have made me absolutely buzzing to give it a go when gyms reopen. Been a standard gym-goer for 10 years, so should be interesting. Cheers for the great content!

      I was like you a few years ago, it’s a lot of fun! Don’t hate on kipping, it’s mean for work capacity. A telltale of a good gym and it’s coaches is not teaching you that until you can do at least 10 strict pull ups

      Charlie I started back in June and I’ll never go back to a regular gym. Sorry your gyms aren’t open. They are here in Texas and we haven’t had a single case. Good luck!

Thought it was cool today when you showed the very large, very strong gentleman on the descending squat control example, Mr. Ray Williams.       @@alyssab4538 it’s not necessarily bad either, if there is no pain, 99% chance it’s no issue. If there is even slight pain though, then they should see a doctor obviously.

    My program has me doing 4x5 of power back squats and 3x10-12 of Front Squats at least once a week. Seems to work well with the variance of rep ranges and volume.

    Been doing this type of squatting Two times a week, one high volume and one control and speed for about 4 weeks now. Been adding small amounts every week starting on 70-75 %
    Can you talk about how long or how many weeks in particular u usually go for?
    Do you have a backoff week in between before testing your Max again?

    Hey buddy, I did the 1st lockdown no weight leg workout 1.5 jump squat,jump lunges,deepsquat,rev lunge 40/30/20/10 with 4,3,2,1km bike track speed ride between each set it was EMO id like to say cheers but I can't until does set in🙄

    Goal of 2021 is to join a CrossFit box! How do Boxes incorporate strength/hypertrophy training into the workouts? Is it something i should do on my own? Tips please

      I would say it depends on the box and who does the programing. At my box, the coach who programs for us, we always start with a strength portion, squats, presses, deadlifts ect, and then we do more of a metcon workout after the strength session.

      You can add some strength training during open gym hours. That’s the best way to get stronger.

      Just sign up for CrossFit ... almost all gyms follow a strength/metcon program ... it’ll take care of itself. If you want to progress faster .. perhaps after building a solid foundation ... then yes you can go to open gym and work on whatever your little heart desires
