You guys should visit Stirling! I’m Aussie but I used to live there! Stirling castle is one of the best castles I’ve been too. You can also check out the Wallace moment (named after William Wallace I.e ‘Braveheart’) and Stirling bridge has something to do with him too aha
Stirling is between Glasgow and Edinburgh - short little detour ☺️

The quality of fish and chips varies dramatically across the UK. It can also vary at the same establishment depending on the time of day and how busy they are (ie how fresh the oil is) and so on.
When you come to Ireland get fish and chips! & make sure to try some potato, soda bread ❤️

Remember to ask for Stornoway black pudding! With your breakfast! And try an Old Pultney 12 year old single malt! Made in my hometown Wick, caithness. voted no 1 in whisky bible.

The lollies tried we use to buy in 1970 when I was young I saw u try the sherbets we use to call flying saucers we loved them the sherbet with licorice was a fave to as a child

My family also has a castle in Scotland I believe (not exactly sure where lol) but it’s called Eilean Donnan Castle 😊 this trip makes me want to travel there even more one day!

The fudge you had in London would’ve been mass-produced chewy crap that doesn’t qualify as fudge IMO. Traditional, crumbly fudge is delicious. There’s a small independent chain all across the West Country called Roly’s (in places like Wells - an insanely beautiful city with a cathedral) that sells the most incredible fudge in many different flavours.
On your way home to Australia you should stopover in Tokyo! 🌃 🍱

Gonna be honest that fish looked grim, to dark in colour, feels like a fish and chip shop for tourists. So many good fish and chips up there it's a shame you picked that 1. The fact you could smell fish on your hands is wrong in more ways than 1😂
