You are a very complementary lady with all the great things you were saying about Ireland and look like a lovely couple. I hope you enjoyed your stay and that you are welcome back anytime.
go to achill island ... as impressive as the cliffs may be ... achill has so much more to offer and see ...!! or even take a day trip to inishmore .... very different places but they feel so nice ... both achill and inishmore are often overlooked in favour of the cliffs but you all miss out on some of the best parts of the country ...
@@maddieann387 just look it up on google or youtube , but that never does it justice .. you can drive to achill but innishmore you have to take the ferry ..!!
Google / Apple maps work well in Ireland but watch out for roaming charges if you try to use roaming data from your home country. If you have a phone plan from an EU country you can use it in Ireland without roaming charges but if you are from the US or elsewhere be careful. We always change to a local sim when we travel for that very reason. In Ireland there are several pay as you go sims that will give you data and calls for month for about €20.
@@maddieann387the weather will be perfect in June - REALLY 😂 Irish person here, always pack rain gear!!! You can get 4 seasons in one day here. Just because it is summer is no guarantee of summer weather - sorry 😞 nobody comes to Ireland for the weather 😂

We're going to Ireland in June and renting a car. Did you use your phone for Google Maps or a GPS Garmin?
The weather will be perfect in June! We used Apple Maps, but I'm sure google maps works just as well!

@@mbp1646 yes, thanks for mentioning that! We did turn our international plan on for one phone, and it was maybe a $10 charge!
@@maddieann387 that sounds like a good deal and has the advantage of allowing you to use your own number.
