There is something calming and yet dominating about his voice. I really enjoy just listening to him. That voice, by itself, is enough to make a good father.

That’s confidence, he knows that what he is saying is factual and accurate. Have you ever noticed how your tone might change into a more matter-of-fact one, when you have more information than others in the conversation? Plus, he literally speaks in front of others for a living, he’s very accustomed to public speaking.

Yes!, all those beautiful high definition images of the planets our probes have sent back.
Regardless he was fortunate to live in an era where humankind has realised it's existence and place in the vastness of space.
And we are fortunate to live knowing him and his marvellous work.

Carl sagan has such a vast perspective, but it's amazing to hear the emotion in his voice when he talks about things at the bounds of his perspective. A distance measured far beyond human travel.

Carl Sagan reminds me of a scientific version of Bob Ross.

Sagan must be one of the greatest communicators our species has produced.

I have said for at least 20 years, that he is my surrogate dad! (at least in my imagination!). when I was 15, I fell in love with Cosmos. It is Wonderful that I hear MY kids are now seeing and hearing his teachings.

the light of this program have spent 42 years travelling here, and its source has long since gone out. the first law of media studies states that aired programs are disturbances in the ether that exponentially decay.

You are forgetting (or not thinking) about wormholes, that's why scientists are not thinking about what you said, because it's not possible that way, however it is possible with the theory of wormholes.

The dilettante way that these videos are amputated right in the middle of sentences and important content is simply unbearable.
