As a kid I thought this was the coolest game at Chuck E Cheese's, but now I look back and it's just freaking hilarious with all the campy voice acting and the whole romance theme.
The whole concept of the game is about a sour couple fighting against obstacles. Kinda like It Takes Two, although that game was released like a decade later.
I remember playing another game that has that that 2 player mechanic it wasnt this but it was pirate themed and published by namco and there was a gimmick where in order to kill certain enemies then ur cursors have to merge on it it was fun but i forgot the name

The developer must really hates bugs in Thailand but I assure you, we don't have jumping maneater here. Specifically, no venomous spiders. What you need to be afraid of are mosquitoes and snakes. ^_^

I love how the title makes the game sound like a fun kids adventure game, and then the first thing you find in the game is soldiers being mauled by giant spiders
Playing this game as a kid, I eventually found myself screaming and shooting as intensely as possible at these things. I did not blink. I was in it to win it. I now see this game gave me Arachnophobia and those screams of rage were actually fear. 2 decades later I’m back! No phobia.

What a wild shooter. Looks like a blast! (Spotted this game on someone's tour of Funspot (apparently largest arcade in the world) and realized I had no clue what it was. Makes sense why, since I stopped going to arcades in early 2000s once internet gaming finally took off, and so I missed a lot of what came afterwards.)

Believe it or not I just went to Chuck E Cheese today and discovered this game, and i have to say, it's the best arcade game i've ever played.
I remember crushing every single boss in this game and people would be amazed, now I just get crushed at these games. Great times...

DUDE I REMEMBER THIS GAME!!!!!!! I USED TO PLAY THIS ALL THE TIME AS A KID!!!! it was tons of fun man! countless memories with this one! (btw this game was so freaking HARD xD)
Dang... I think I remember seeing one of these arcade machines at the local Chuck E. Cheese that I visited a couple of times for birthday parties and such, I vividly remembering seeing the first screen where you had to shoot at the spiders and stuff, ah good times

Dawg, this was my favorite arcade game, well this and the Jurassic Park game of course (Which tbh is just the same game but idc they’re both awesome and fun) I remember playing both with my brother and just having a blast; I loved the giant spider battle and eve else is just as incredible, like it’s cheesy as all hell, but that’s what makes it fun, good times
