That's super cool! I just tried baking a bust made in super sculpy in my air fryer. Was going well right up to the point where it all cracked. How long do you put yours in for? I tried 30min at 130c as parts were quite thick but possibly that was too long 🤷♂️
Thank you very much 🙏😊I'm sorry for you, most of the time for this kind of piece I cook at 130 degrees for 45 minutes, the cooking time is not the problem, but I let it cool for at least an hour by leaving it in the oven, after that it may also come from clay which may be too old or dried out, it must be well preserved, I keep it in a glass jar , but I still have some cracks too sometimes , you car repair it easily

no, it is malleable when it comes out of the package, to soften it you can rub it with your hands, the package you got may have dried out or is too old
I have the opposite problem, I wish my polymer clay was harder bc it pretty much melts in my hands & I have to keep freezing it - I use Sclupey, which I thought was a good brand but nope !
Do you sculpt the whole thing and bake once at the end or do you bake it several times between layers so you don't lose details and progress? Asking before I purchase clay because when I was in highschool I had problems with maintaining detail/accidentally brushing or bumping detailed areas and messing the whole piece up and having to start at square one.

Do you heat up the polymer clay to make it malleable. I purchased a pound of Super Sculpey from amazon, it's hard as a rock.
