Hello @jazza I assume that the leviathan, was maybe even like the story of the loch ness monster, and there have been theories that the loch ness monster, was a dinosaur, that was trapped in a lake after the ice age, it could be that the leviathan was a Mossasaurus a giant serpentine sea dinosaur that had sharp scales and a long tail.
“And the huge dragon was cast down and out - that age-old serpent, Who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him.” Revelations 12:9
As a Christian, I must say I find it very refreshing how overall kind everyone is being here. I’m used to anything semi harder to understand or believe in Christianity being completely mocked and hated on. I’m so glad to see so many unbelievers just being intrigued or liking the artwork and not hating on others’ beliefs. Thank you all! ❤
Well regardless of religious affiliation almost everyone likes some kind of art. Like the massive churches with art all over in Europe being tourist attractions. I think a lot of people that hate on religious people generally might just have had bad experiences with the overly religious side, zealots if you will. For example being gay or lesbian in a lot of heavy religious areas or even homes wont be easy. Maybe a woman getting an abortion, already a stressful thing, then get called names, and told you are going to hell. Not a fun time. I’d like to think life would be a lot easier if people minded their own business. Haha. Maybe you are a more chill christian that is just vibing, trying to live, and survive in the world with the rest of us, and never once said a mean thing to anyone. I’m just trying to live my life, have fun, maybe make friends, die in peace. XD
@kay8487 but the main issue is hating on religion and religious people because of your personal experiences with people in your life... Christianity is the worlds largest religion. With over 2.3 billion people claiming to be of the faith. If you're judging and mocking 2.3 billion people because of your experiences with a handful of people who claim to be Christian, that says FAR more about you than it does religious people... and none of what's said is good.
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist And I get that, and I’d like to say I’m much more chill (not not taking sin seriously, but not preaching hellfire and brimstone from the pulpit). Everyone is created equal under God. Everyone equally deserves second chances, general respect and kindness, etc. But the wide online attitude to Christianity is “How idiotic for you to believe in your precious sky daddy” when I have said absolutely nothing rude to the person. I get having a bad experience. But a bad experience with a few doesn’t excuse persecution and complete disregard for the whole. Like Muslims. One terrorist attack from a smaller group of Muslims shouldn’t mean that I completely disregard, disrespect, and constantly attack Muslims online. But I understand what you are saying.
Prob because they see it as cool fiction. And it def sounds like it with the giants and beasts and mentions of unicorns. Which does lead me to a question. I lost sleep over this. Ya know how one of the biggest sins is lying and misguiding others in the word of god? Because it also damns not just the lair but the misguided. I bring this up because the Bible sounds like pieces of fanfic stapled together at times. Like some stuff just don’t add up. Like there was a part where god sends lions after kids because they made fun of Elisha. Which really goes against the all fair, just, wise, and good god when this is an overreaction that sounds like fanfic. Or someone trying to prove god loves them so much he’ll do something this petty. There’s also countless instances of him showing favoritism. And that time Abram pretends to be Sarai’s sister and the guy coming onto her gets punished when he didn’t know. All this don’t add up. Especially to with the description of a just and fair god. And how come we haven’t noticed any giant monsters yet? And all this makes me wonder if it was tampered with, parts were just filled in with imagination, or really is just all made up. Either we had it all wrong and are damned because of misinformation and years of mistranslation and even tampering for personal gain, are we all screwed? Who have we praying to all this time then if we got it wrong? Is anyone even there?
@@fullcircle8231I am gonna mock 2.3bln people because their believes are based on two books that can be debunked with knowledge of a primary school kid Arc of Noe ? - bullshit WE HAVE FUCKING DINOSAUR SKELETONS that should be enough on their own to convince anyone But sure let's go deeper no miracles since we have the technology to easily record everything, huh weird riiight??? Oh really 😢 the word "Cool" cannot describe what really this monsters and abomination really means. The Leviathan is often an embodiment of chaos and threatening to eat the damned after their life. In the end, it is annihilated. Christian theologians identified Leviathan with the demon of the deadly sin envy. According to Ophite diagrams, the Leviathan encapsulates the space of the material world.
A real cool detail about the behemoth is that if you remove the horns which are never actually mentioned and add the part where it says its tail is like a cedar tree and mix it with its massively swole body, you can tell that it kinda resembles a brachiosaurus.
I’m a Christian/follower of Christ, and seeing this video just left me in awe. I’ve always LOVED the Leviathan, and I’ve always tried to picture the different types of angels but have had a hard time visualizing it. So seeing your amazing artistic talent bringing to life what is described in the Bible is mesmerizing and amazing! I look forward to a part 2! 😃
I would LOVE to see Greek monsters! Especially with the new Percy Jackson TV series coming out next week. Even if you just do drawings, would be super cool.
The Seraphim are my favorite angels from the angel hierarchy because of their six wings and they are sometimes described as having multiple eyes all over their bodies. I love the weirdness of them. My dad said that the closer the angels are to God, the weirder they get and it's very true. You did a great job on the Leviathan, Jazza. It's so cool.
I'm not necessarily part of any particular religious group, but you are seriously capturing the fantastical nature of these creatures, and I'm freaking all here for it!!!
Also God's throne is described really cool its made of a crystal type substance on top of a base made of a material described something similar to lapis and the throne was surounded by a rainbow and burning clouds
That was the point of these monsters in the first place. Not everyone in the world would be able to understand the magnitude of evil in sin, but everyone knows how terrifying a fire-breathing serpent bringing death and chaos would be. However, God has already killed this serpent in the victory of the cross. God loves us so much he didn't want to leave us to the leviathan we created.
@@jacksonanderson997 I don't believe that there is any gods, there is no single evidence. Bible is just collection of myths like great flood and exodus.

Yes SIR! I love this so much as a Christian who just loves the nity gritty of the bible. I was sitting listening to Jazza quote the Bible with a silly grin on my face. Lol please do another! ❤️
Yes!! Please do a part two!! A deep dive into angels would be AWESOME. I would love to see them more fleshed out, especially the Ophanim. You're right, there's a reason the angels are constantly saying "fear not"--because they're absolutely terrifying!
This look like a really great series. I'd love to see more Biblical characters like Goliath, Sampson, Nebuchadnezzar etc. Also, the Norse pantheon would be awesome too!
It is strange as a Christian myself that I never really pay attention to the way some of these are described, especially the angels, and they really are described in hard to understand ways. It’s really cool to see you sculpt and draw these!
@@rustysm8080Exactly. It was weird as a kid wondering why they always said that if they looked like us, then I got older and read what they really look like and it all clicked...
DO A PART 2! The creatures in revelation are so cool! There was even one angel so big one foot was in the middle of the ocean, and the other was on land(the Bible described it better than I could.)
A God Who Understands But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.” -Luke 9:58 The reception that the world gave Mary and Joseph before Christ was born is typical of the reception it gave Jesus when He was here on this earth. Jesus Himself said, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head” (Luke 9:58) We’ve romanticized the story of Jesus’ birth in our Nativity scenes, with Mary, Joseph, and the baby in a stable full of adoring animals. Meanwhile, the shepherds and wise men look on as a bright star shines in the distance and angels fly overhead. But the reality is that the birth of Jesus was cold, unsanitary, and difficult. He was wrapped not in satin but in cheap rags. That doesn’t diminish the story. Rather, it enhances it to show the humiliation that Christ went through to enter this world of ours. He could have had aristocratic parents. He could have had the finest clothes from the most exclusive shops. And He could have had legions of angels at His beck and call. But He did not. So I'm a Christian and a 3D artist (I do character art). This is just super fascinating! Even as a Christian myself, I tend to stay away from doing artistic depictions of Biblical stories and creatures because Christians can be incredibly nitpicky and toxic about anything with the Bible and artistic license, but watching this has honestly been inspiring! Edit: I didn't expect myself to get this much of a response. Thank you guys so much!
As a Christian (and fellow artists) I would like you to continue with this because despite a lot of things in the Bible being just the way they’re described I love seeing people’s interpretations of them. As someone who reads lots of books I picture scenes in my mind. The Bible I really ponder how close my mind’s eye is to reality... anyone else?
I'm totally with you! Both as a Christian and fellow artist, I'm always caught on picturing the epic scenes from the Bible as if they were in any of the fantasy books I so much love to read. Keep with it Jazza! It's a delight to see artists interpretations on something so near to my heart - and unimaginable at times hahaha
yea, the Biblically you shouldn't be thinking of a creature. The leviathan is a description of the enemies of Israel at that moment in time. Much like Revelation talks of dragons coming forth... it's not real dragons like Smaug from The Hobbit, but rather symbols of a rising empire or threat.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth Exodus 20 4 Old testament but idk
@@broken2550that verse is about not trying to make a representation (or idol )of God based on what you think he looks like; because he knew the Israelites would end up worshiping the art piece instead. Love how Jazza didn’t know the theories about what the behemoth could be, and still sketched out a dinosaur. Edit: came back to say that yes he was taking some creative liberty with the bull head, but the sturdy, muscular limbs and tail is dinosaur-esque (or what science has assumed dinosaurs looked like) (kinda like a sauropod, ofc theories are still theories lol)
I have always been amazed by the various creatures/ fantastical beings described in the bible, and as an artist I've tried to draw them many times but I've never come up with anything I'm happy with. That being said, you've done an amazing job here!!

Same. I actually did a whole series myself on the nine choirs of angels and many of my Catholic friends got traumatized because for some reason they don't read the bible 🤔
I really really enjoyed this. And as a Christian, I appreciate your serious deep dive into this, while having fun, and making it neither "religious or antireligious". And honestly, seems like you grasped the poetic nature of these creatures really well.
The cherubim drawing was really cool! They were always the hardest biblical creature for me to visualize because of how many wings it had. I always pictured a dragon fly looking person. Great job Jazza!

The leviathan is from the book of Job chapter 41. Growing up as a Christian as a child I used to always reread that chapter and try to picture what it looked like. Fun fact, Job is actually the oldest book in the Bible. Great video by the way.
Funny enough, but considering how it's mentioned with animals like horses, ostriches or eagles, and described to have strong jaw, he may be just crocodile.
fun thing about Seraphim, in some places they're also described as serpentine! Wreathed in flames and singing. Angels are incredibly strange entities and I love them
I always read that as they moved in serpentine ways- like gliding/slipping through the air. Not in actual appearance to be serpentine. We would have to check the Hebrew to know for sure!
@@AdreeThompsonLMT That's a possible interpretation! Though I do like to imagine them as at least partially snakelike. Perhaps with a snake's tail instead of legs, combined with the flames and wings giving the illusion of flowing robes. It's fun to play with their designs!
I honestly am fascinated by the leviathan! The creature that swallowed Jonah has also been called a leviathan and whales cannot swallow anything larger than a beach ball, so it has to be something else. There have been large serpentine like skeletons that have been discovered in deserts that line up geographically with the location the story happened. Adittionally if you look at old pieces of art of Jonah and the "whale" they are all portrayed as long serpentine creatures. Apologies for the long comment, but there is some information on the leviathan!
No way you put bible and science in one comment "So it has to be something else" or.... It was simply made up Like Arc of Noe, we have the proof, the same skeletons that would prove your serpent like creature actually exist and prove dinosaurs that fucking prove that faith is bullshit
Or maybe, the entire story is made up. Anybody who has any kind of knowledge about the anatomy of living creatures, knows that it is impossible for a person to live inside the belly of any kind of animal for any amount of time
Yeesss!! I really want to see part 2! As a Christian I love seeing these amazing descriptions brought to life by your artistic skills!! I've always been fascinating by all these creatures and you're doing them total justice!

I would love if you are eager to continue this like a series of making more 3D monsters from mythological/religious stories and texts. Since there are tons and tons of descriptions in many of these tellings such as Anceint Greek mythology/religion, Norse mythology/religion, Chinese, Japanese, Yoruba etc.. Imo it would awesome if we could how they could look based on their descriptions and artistic process.
Bible descriptions are tricky because they are less a visual description than they are about character. And as you say, a lot of them are physically impossible. But I love what you did with them, beyond the conventional leviathan = crocodile and behemoth = hippo. Also, I love the touch of your sketches being in that rough looking sketchbook, Definitely want to see part two!
behemoth is definitely a sauropod, i mean hippos and elephants and any land animal thats big right now does not have a tail that comese even close to being stiff like a cedar. Also sauropods were able to stand on their hind legs! That would take an insane amount of loin strength not to mention how big and strong their bones are!
@@xX_ohio_Xxexcept no sauropod existed in that time. And they never describe the length of the tail, but it's properties. In some translations it's stiffens like a cedar(NOT a North American Cedar but a Lebanese Cedar) and in others they say it swayeth(or moveth) like a Cedar, which also aligns with a Lebanese. It also describes Behemoth to lay under a Lotus tree for shade, which no sauropod would be able to do. Now personally I align with it being an elephant since it's the biggest living land animal, existed at the time, can both stiffen it's tail when threatened and sways it's tail, can find shade under a Lotus, and fits other descriptions in the biblical text.
I'm not a Christian, I'm Wiccan but i have a fascination with the different world religions and love learning about the different beliefs and lore. The descriptions of the angels have always been my favorite. I really hope to see more of these creatures sculpted.
Yes, yes, yeeessss!!!❤ Please, Jazza, more videos like this!!! You could even do creatures from other religions or maybe from folklore or ancient civilizations!!! There are so many cool creatures that deserve to be Jazza-fied❤❤❤
Super cool idea. Moving away from modern creations and looking into what ancient people's mythical creature ideas were like is a great change. I'd love to see a part 2 and also maybe branching into other religious texts that describe fantastical creatures.
As a biblical scholar I really enjoyed your take on this. The bible is full of imagery that evokes terror and awe. Whether it be Angels, Fallen Angels or Demonic Spirits (yes, they are separate) the Bible gives us really vivid and fantastical descriptions of these beings. Chances are if you met them in real life you would be terrified. Even Angels, who are benelovent have frightening descriptions. Leviathan is actually a Fallen Angel. His realm is the abyss. The deepest part of the ocean where light doesn’t touch. The abyss (abussos in Greek) is the habitat of demonic spirits, as the bible tells us. Right throughout different mythologies there are dragons or serpent gods. Satan is mentioned in Genesis as appearing like a serpent. It’s interesting to note that Angels or Fallen Angels can actually shapeshift from their natural form to that of beasts or humans. This is seen in the bible several times including the two men who visited Sodom and Gomorrah before it’s destruction and the man standing near Jesus tomb on Easter Sunday.
Hey, I don't mean any harm, but I'm curious why you believe that angels shapeshift? I haven't found that in the Bible before, so I would be really interested if you could point that out. In your example of Sodom it doesn't say that the angels shapeshifted or anything, simply they're appearance was like men.
@artistryunicorn928 that's why, because the angels that visited were archangels and look different than man. Hence the idea of shape-shifting. Also Isaiah describes the fall of Lucifer from the most beautiful of all that God had created, to being given domain of Earth, and then called a serpent, a dragon, and I believe there is a translation thing regarding the word Leviathan as I think in Hebrew it's the same as great Serpent or similar. This is why you might have the description of being slain with a sword by God because in Revelation the Great Serpent/Dragon is slain with a sword which is the word of God from the mouth of Jesus. I could be getting a bit mixed up but there are very different descriptions of Leviathan because of the mix between Isaiah and Job, and depending on translation Revelation... correct me if I am wrong
@@beyond5150 Yes. You’re right. Leviathan is a fallen angel. His abode is the abyss (from the Greek abussos). The abyss is the habitat of evil spirits (demons). I have studied a lot of comparative mythology and dragons or serpents are a common theme throughout different mythologies. Wikipedia states: “The Leviathan of the Book of Job is a reflection of the older Canaanite Lotan, a primeval monster defeated by the god Baal Hadad.[1][2] Parallels to the role of Mesopotamian Tiamat defeated by Marduk have long been drawn in comparative mythology, as have been wider comparisons to dragon and world serpent narratives such as Indra slaying Vrtra or Thor slaying Jörmungandr.[3] Leviathan also figures in the Hebrew Bible as a metaphor for a powerful enemy, notably Babylon (Isaiah 27:1). Behemoth is also equated with fallen angels / evil spirits. When Lucifer and his conspirators fell, they were cast out of heaven. We know Satan’s dominion was (and still is for a time) earth. He has authority here. How else was he able to offer Jesus all the kingdoms of earth? Living on earth these Fallen Angels became false gods that tried to corrupt everything God had created. That includes animals and the environment. That’s why God sent cataclysms, so that he could start again. Thanks for the comment. Take care.
Interesting. This is the first time I heard that leviathan is a fallen angel. I'm just used to leviathan, behemoth, and ziz being described as the first animals God created.
Super cool to see as a Christian or I think in general! I wish more artists were doing this kind of thing!! It really helps conceptualize the intricacies and overlooked coolness in the Bible that often goes overlooked. Please do more 😁
Yes!! Please make a part 2!! The Bible is full of stuff like this and I am quite surprised that there aren't more movies made about these creatures. The concept art alone is incredible so imagine those coming to life with CGI. It would be epic! Very nice job!! :)
I would absolutely love to see a part two to this! This is an awesome concept to play with. The way you tackled sketches as well as the sculpting was so cool to watch unfold.
Jazza, your skill with different mediums is mind-boggling. I loved watching Leviathan take shape. You're absolutely right about the process being more and more aesthetically pleasing as it progresses. 100%, would LOVE to see a part 2
I’m a follower of Christ and I love Jazza’s work and content and seeing the way he went about this with respect and a positive and not hateful outlook made this super easy to enjoy and very interesting without being disrespectful or hateful! Love you Jazza!!🤍💗🫶
I love watching Jazza sculpt. It's so cool to see him shape a blob of clay into a master piece! I don't mind watching a 40 minute video of Jazza carving every detail. It doesn't need to be super short.
You read the Bible everyday and still don't realize you are actively sinning and that his name was never Jesus?? I stand by y assertation that religious people are dim. It's a book of fiction.
Fun fact: the word Seraphim is also a Hebrew word for serpents, as well as a translation for "burning ones". Ive mentioned this elsewhere, but, I've always kinda liked the idea of them being these fiery limbed serpents with the 6 wings, basically holy dragons. Anyways, love the work, that leviathan looks epic!
As soon as I saw this I was like: Jazza doing biblical angels! And had to watch right away. Also the sculpting is always so satisfying to watch. More please!
I’ve seen a lot of guesses and people figure out what real animals these could have been… and they ignore parts of the text. It was great to see you take the actual text as a design prompt to create something incredible. Great job! Looking forward to more!
I also heard people say "behemoth is a elephant..." but I then say "elephants dont have tails that swing like a cendar (type of tree) and behemoth was big enough to drink a river dry... that is not a elephant"
@@defeqel6537 Perhaps or they could symbolize something and there not literal but I personly think that behemoth is a monster or perhaps a dinosaur you never know
I would love a part 2. “Malachim” (the “ch” is pronounced as a khh sound, like “ich” in German by the by) just means “messengers” (Malachim is plural) in Hebrew, and we get our English word “Angel” by way of the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible. The word αγγελος (pronounced sort of like “angelos” with a hard g) also meant “messenger” in Greek and was used to translate Malachim. The other heavenly beasties, like Seraphim (the “burning ones”), ofanim (just means “wheels”), chayot (those are the ones with 4 faces, means “living creatures”), and cherubim (means something like “those who intercede”) are never called “malachim” in the Bible, and they all became lumped together as types of angel in the early Christian era. (I spent too much time studying the history of Judaism and Christian in antiquity, does it show?🤪)
it does but it's also impressive knowledge and interesting from a non-religious standpoint. The 'monsters'/deities/gods etc. that various religions around the world come up with have always interested me, my favourites being Kali, Frejya, Brigid, Ganesh, and the "old school" "angels" which are in quotes because I prefer the descriptors used in the bible versus the not-so-cannon-art renderings of angels that are prevalent from the renaissance onwards.
I am Jewish and read the Bible (specifically the Old Testament) in Hebrew, so it is interesting to me to see what these creatures seem like when reading in English. For example, the word Seraphim means fiery ones (the -im makes it plural), so I tend to imagine them as made up of fire. Ophanim literally means wheels (similar to ophanayim, which is a bike, lit. two wheels), and their description translates literally to wheels within wheels, which can also mean interlocking wheels. They are also connected to the Chayos, which is a kind of angel whose description I still can't wrap my head around (I read an article which calculated their amount of wings to in the hundreds). Interestingly, the word ''Malachim'' means angels in general, but there is a category of angels specifically called Malachim. I will put out there that the passage at the end of Job about the monsters and, especially, the passage at the beginning of Ezekiel about the angels are often considered metaphorical, so imagination has a bit more leeway as these aren't concrete things that have objective appearances.
Amen 🙏. I love this, everything about it. I think it’s cool to see the monsters I read about in church brought to life with this epic sculpting Great Job 👏
Christian here 🙋♀️ I absolutely LOVE seeing you make these creatures come to life! I've always been so fascinated with the topic, trying to picture them all in my mind, which is difficult enough. So watching your version is just awesome! You're awesome, Jazza! Your community is awesome too ❤🥰 Much love to you all ❤❤❤
I love your level of respect coming into this project and the best approach is to just go off what is read on a literal level and not try to super interpret it. Well done! I’m subscribed, liked and commenting to get that part two!
Please make a part 2! I love that you created a monster and drew pictures of the Angels from the Bible! It's fun to see how people imagine they will look like! Please do the Angel with 4 heads, those of a human, lion, bull and eagle, the Cherubim?
As a christian, I appreciate that you've treated the text respectfully and taken it seriously. You've done an amazing job with your depictions and I'm looking foreward to the next video. There's a lot of really cool creatures you can still do.
@bluefloyd1 That does not matter in this context at all. Jazza is doing art based on a prompt. And if you were listening, his prompts were entirely from one passage in Job. And he recreated what he read in that passage. Other passages do not matter in this context. Why did you even feel the need to say this 🤣🤣🤣
Growing up, I had a much more watered-down teaching of the the epicness of Biblical stories and creatures. Thanks so much for the visuals. Especially the angels. Very cool. Can't wait for the Nephilim in part 2!
Yes continue! this was so cool. It brings about a lot of wonder and curiosity that is so cool to think of a God who is just indeed immensely creative. Like who can make up those descriptions...
Yo! Over a million views in just over a week?! Y'all did it! Part 2 coming soon!
Pls try this with other religious book like Indian(hindu/Sanatana Dharma),Greek, etc.
Hell yeah!
Be sure to include the Leviathan and Behemoth's avian counterpart, the Ziz, in the next video!
Looking forward to part 2, hope it included Aziz. to finish the trinity of Leviathan, Behemoth & Aziz. Beasts of the Water, Land & Sky
I want to see more biblical creatures. Jazza's monster design/ creature sculpture videos are a ton of fun to see.

You can’t say it’s a brachiosaurus but you can say it’s a sauropod

That was the point of these monsters in the first place. Not everyone in the world would be able to understand the magnitude of evil in sin, but everyone knows how terrifying a fire-breathing serpent bringing death and chaos would be. But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”
-Luke 9:58
The reception that the world gave Mary and Joseph before Christ was born is typical of the reception it gave Jesus when He was here on this earth. Jesus Himself said, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head”
(Luke 9:58)
We’ve romanticized the story of Jesus’ birth in our Nativity scenes, with Mary, Joseph, and the baby in a stable full of adoring animals.
It symbolizes His entire life on Earth from the cradle to the cross. Jesus could have been born in the most elegant mansion on the ritziest boulevard in the Roman Empire. He could have had aristocratic parents. He could have had the finest clothes from the most exclusive shops. And He could have had legions of angels at His beck and call.
But He did not. Instead, He laid it all aside.
Think about it: Jesus was born in a cave. He borrowed food to feed a crowd. He borrowed a coin to illustrate a truth. And He rode into Jerusalem on a borrowed donkey and celebrated Passover in a borrowed room. He even died on a borrowed cross that was meant for another: Barabbas. Then He was laid in a borrowed tomb that belonged to Joseph of Arimathea.
C.H. Spurgeon said that Jesus was “infinite, and an infant eternal, and yet born of a woman . . . supporting the universe, and yet needing to be carried in a mother’s arms.”
Philippians 2:6-7 points out, “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being”
He who was larger than the universe became an embryo. Jesus Christ was deity in diapers.
Jesus was God in Heaven. Then He was God as an embryo, God as a baby, God as a man, God on the cross, and God rising again. He never ceased to be God. But He did lay aside some of the privileges of deity.
Philippians goes on to say, “When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross” (2:7-8).
Jesus humbled Himself and walked this earth and breathed our air and lived our life. And then He died our death. We have a God in Heaven who understands what it’s like to walk through this life. He literally felt our pain. And He went through all of this for us.

I really want to see his interpretation and take on the Cherubim.
I forget what the Angels are called in Revelations, (I think it's Revelations, I'll have to fact check) but they're described as having four heads, three of them being different animals and one of the heads being human. Anyway, they're really interesting to think about! but I'd love to see his depiction of those.

Please continue this! I love seeing people’s interpretations of biblical creatures
What about Jonah being swallowed by a Whale Shark?
@Daz30 looking online, it also wouldn't be able to because it's throat is the size of a human fist, hence why they would eat krill
No way you put bible and science in one comment
"So it has to be something else" or.... It was simply made up
Like Arc of Noe, we have the proof, the same skeletons that would prove your serpent like creature actually exist and prove dinosaurs that fucking prove that faith is bullshit
@@Daz30 Whale shark is not big enough to swallow a human
Or maybe, the entire story is made up. Anybody who has any kind of knowledge about the anatomy of living creatures, knows that it is impossible for a person to live inside the belly of any kind of animal for any amount of time
I really appreciate the pacing in this video, the back and forth between the different creatures and you carving was great!

A God Who Understands

Demons have no description in the bible
I think demons are just angels who went bad? There really isnt a physical difference
@@scottydu81 I mean, two “human-like” figures fighting with wings and absolutely beautiful would still be amazing to see!
@@tonybrewer7536 I mean, fallen angels could be referred to demons. It would be a cool sculpture to see haha! It was just a thought..
@@xX_ohio_Xx They were monstrous beasts that ate plants. Seems accurate, to me.
@@xX_ohio_Xxcool theory!
@@xX_ohio_Xx I have always seen behemoths as massive (hundreds of feet tall, tens of meters tall) gorilla-ox creature

I would love to see more drawings and sculptures in this series! I like your idea of using the Biblical descriptions as a creative prompt.
Finally some good art content for me to watch. UA-cam doesn't always notify me when u make a video but this one. They blessed me.
