bro.. I don't know why anyone hasn't told you this but you're not supposed to make equal number fights, you're supposed to make equal cost fights. Same number fights would only make sense in the same type of unit.. like a cataphract vs royal knight for example
I would like to add, equal resources don't have to replace equal numbers, because even in these situations pop efficiency can be interesting. But resource efficiency is definitely the more important value 9/10 times.
My ingame practice as 1v1 diamond 2 says exact opposite. Alongside with mehter and few sipahi around they devastate my all sorts of cavalry in seconds. Ur tests shows nothin'.

These aren’t horseman.. knights don’t get bonus vs ranged, but Jans get bonus damage vs cavalry. That being said, Cataphract are much more expensive than Janissaries, so it would be more relevant to compare equal resources instead of equal numbers.
and reddit will say its fair cataphracte is twice the cost of a Janissary so its fair that it wins against it this is bullshit make 200 cavalry and no one can counter you yes theyll say you can prod more spear than cataphract especially in defense but come on stop bullshiting me we all know that cavalry is utterly stupid look at that 100 vs 100 and not even half of it dies AGAINST ITS COUNTER ITS INSANE dont get me wrong i dotn want janissary or any counter to cavalry to 1v1 it but i mean can i at least kill most of them so that i lost around 4k in ressource and killed more than 2k in ressource value

they can only block one cata. so if your line of cataphracts is multiple rows. most will go through@@Staklihen
Most Ottoman Players go for alot of Janissaries and Bombards... Imagine charging those cataphract on top of the bombards and janissaries. Check mate.

Normally this situation doesn't happen. because Janissaries are mostly protected by MAA or sipahi.
The janissaries should fly way when trampled.. just like in Battle for Middle Earth.
