This guy playing guitar is the real Trey Azagthoth? It has been a long time since the last time I saw a Morbid Angel live concert, I don't know how is it going the band nowadays
I'd almost say it's impossible to outdo David, both men offer something totally different to the vocal portion of the band. I think Steve has got more of a barbaric Viking sound to his voice whereas David has got kind of a operatic darker sounding voice.
He needs to get a Kemper & clone all his album tones, it would sound 100 times better & be easier to carry around instead of lugging all that useless gear
@@patientmental875 Fuck that. Trey is old school playing through real amps with the classic ProCo Rat. Dude is the real deal, not cloning his shit & taking the easy path.
It sounds good an all, but in my opinion Trey and Steve Tucker should focus on something new, rather then play old MA like this. It will never be the same without Pete on drums anyways
Never cared for Steve Tucker, his growls are pretty flat and uncharacteristic. His voice has no identity. i think the his only good performance was on Gateways to Annihilation. Everything else is very Sub par.

Trey is still burning up those frets, and doing it with real amps and real tones, live, right in front of you.
Real deal, all the way.
Where'd all the influencers go?!?!!
He looks like he’s struggling dude… look at that right hand, no wrist power, using his arm too much…

Yes Trey is awesome but he doesnt look too well look older than his age so is he all right, any info ?
They sound awesome... And Trey still shredding on that Ironbird...🤘
If you look on the back of the CD album, Alters of Madness, its literally the same guitar Hes playing here. \m/

It’s a cell phone recording….. I thought it sounded good considering, lol
Covenant is such an explosively heavy album
yeah david vincent is great
Steve Tucker! Great vocal.
I'll always prefer David Vincent's vocals but I can't argue about the fact Steve Tucker's growls are killer.
@@AxLWake David has such a natural and clean death vocal that is easy on the ear.

Bad ass! Thanks for posting!
I know this is a joke but I was actually on a Nelly Furtado binge before arriving here. Love both

Yes, it’s the man himself! The GOAT Trey, the Acid Wizard and the Lava Lord 🌋
How morbid can one angel get
TTHANKS👏👏👏👏
Sounded like treys having some trouble with that one

nice video good to see them still looking good
Love trey, unsung hero , tell me I'm wrong
супер!!!!!
uffff brutal!
The great Trey Azagthoth
Im amazed Trey is still throwing these solos out like a thug
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
🤟🏻🎉
My friend has Aspberger's and, when he's playing guitar, he taps his foot EXACTLY like Trey does.
This means - as a logical conclusion - Trey has to have Aspergers.^^
I've noticed that in a few musicians who I suspect have/had Aspergers. I do that too and I'm almost certain I have this shit
@@Pabs993 I should also add that any guitar player I've known with Aspberger's, which is a handful, always had nothing but sick riffs!
@@BigMuff75 He does . His mom confirmed it in a radio interview also, its on the spectrum of austism
He’s definitely a sperg but he’s a gifted sperg.
why the feckin lights??
you can see Trey's foot is stomping.. dude that's the sign of aging but he still kick some ass onstage.
bullshit because other death metal bands that have been around for just as long arent doing that pitiful shit
Tuckers vox sound better than ever. He suits bald too!
Tucker sounds great on vocals in this performance. It’s tough to outdo Dave Vincent. But this show right here is rippin.

Well said! I agree.
Vincent is pathetic now
Finally....someone picks the right spot to record at a Morbid Angel show.
Is right Tom
Legend
While it may have been intentional, the house lights being constant stationary really sucks.
That thing Trey does from 3 mins onward has to be breaking the laws of physics
The first solo sounded way better lol

Was Ted Etol there?
Whats with Trey,s foot?

I'm not going to lie, I like the new lead vocalist. No dis to Vincent
Steve looks so weird with a shaved head. I think he'd be better with just a normal haircut.
Ungodly as expected
Sorry fanboys, don't agree here. Trey needs to take a break and come back stronger a later day.
All things considered he did better than I thought he would. Only bcuz he was at the gateways of annihilation and not completely within annihilation.

His growling is extremely rich. Even as a fan of early Morbid Angel, I prefer him over David Vincent.
Also, his voice does have an identity. Too bad that you'll never be able to identify it as a casual.
