Hi, how are you? I am from Brazil and I’m loving your videos. I’m a student of Mandarin and through your videos I can understand a little more about some aspects of China, please keep posting!
Trolls always keep saying that China isn't free, but whenever I am in China, I feel very free in many ways. I can enjoy life in China without being harassed or feeling uncomfortable. People are super kind. China has a very relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. Difficult to describe. Many places are breathtaking! ❤️🇨🇳❤️
@@ABChinese Your future is bright to construsct the bridge between china and usa. At the moment china may be a better place for you to build that bridge than america.
We went Yangshuo/Guilin in Octobre/November. It is VERY touristy though, the usual Li river boat rides, bamboo boat rides and the park visits etc. Good to see the real "city" life though. We came from another "small" city Wuzhou (about a million people) which is also in Guangxi province. The good thing about Guangxi is that it has huge amounts of fresh fruits/vegetables and the food price is really low. I'm wearing a LOT of clothes here in the Netherlands now, the weather here now is comparable with Spring Festival weather aka cold/wet.
@@ABChinese I think it's been down at about 5 degrees C, which feels cold, especially when razzing around on the scooter! haha I think the shawl sellers on West Street are doing well! Everyone is wearing them. Was tempted to buy one myself, but couldn't find one in my colour! haha
For me, a Pole, a city of 270,000 is large. It's almost exactly the same as Katowice, which is a regional capital. Edit: on an unrelated note, translating "hectic" to 熱鬧 is questionable in my opinion
Looks fun! I really love how you can see beautiful mountain views from the streets. For a more rural city, everything seems clean overall. At least it looks that way from the video. It doesn’t look hectic to me either. I’m pretty sure I’ve been to much more hectic cities lol
This being the country side is so weird to me where I'm from it's considered a city if it has like 20k inhabitants and I live in the countryside in a town with a few thousand people and farmland and forest everywhere
Suggest you don't have to sound apologetic about people eating dogs. People all over the world eat weird things according to different cultures and nobody should judge any body else. After all, we don't judge them for eating cows or cute little lambs or horses. A dog is just another domesticated animal in many cultures.
damm u made me look real dumb, i tried riding one of these scooters in taiwan and i was unable to because it was hard to control the speed of the bike and the fear of colliding with a taxi was real also it was my friend's scooter so i didn't wanted to destroy it.
You're the third person I've seen representing the Omeida Chinese Academy. First there was Kevin Cook (monkeyabroad) and then there was Oli Barrett (Barrett). They both started UA-cam channels and then tried to become world travel youtubers. Anything you produce related to Laowhy86 or SerpentZA will get you more views because they only negatively talk about China. Anything related to Daniel Dumbrill or Brian Berletic will get you positive attention.
How's your Chinese going? I've been self-learning Chinese for 10 years now, but last year I finally got a tutor. My level is getting higher and higher, but it has taken some time.
I suggest you wear a helmet while riding a bike as many people(especially in a undeveloped small city)don’t follow the traffic rules at all in China. You may get hurt by them

I agree 100%. I felt the same. China will always have a place in my heart! Yangshuo is really wonderfull. Especially the theatre on the lake.
For some reason, the video is fascinating. The fish vendor seemed like a really nice person.
she really was!
She was genuinely curious about his journey, and getting a good price. 🤣

Good video. You educated your viewers much about China. For example, you mentioned "dialects." Keep up with the good efforts. Thank you for sharing.

Super awesome content! I will show this to my students after the break, they're going to love it!
Beautiful video and amazing view of the mountains.
Looks so warm. You came and left at the right time. It's freezing here now 😢😂
I know everyone says that but I lowkey don't believe it haha
It doesn't even snow there!

3:04 it says cynthia's toy car which is so cute

This was mid afternoon so it was a bit calmer but yes, I agree there's crazier!
Wow this guy seems so chill
Wowww this was truly an amazing video
I think it would be very interesting to see what a Chinese class is like at that school. Not boring at all!!
The part of the uncles playing Chinese chess reminded me of playing poker with crazy Asians LOL
3:03 "Cynthia的玩具车" haha so cute!
I knowwww I never did find out whose car that was haha
as much as i like China's more developed cities, I'm more fascinated by these "smaller" towns
@ABChinese 这些视频真棒!我享受这类的录频风格。但我想多看你在说中文😜
17:28 they probably cook them like the Japanese do Unagi. I mean a cursory search of "Chinese Eel Dish" will reveal a soy sauce eel so there's that.
I've seen people cook them into an egg pancake and fry it whole.
Waah, a nice little stroll around those familiar streets, I love this ♥ Makes me wonder how I managed to miss those wire and bottle combinations...
I have a way of finding all the weird tidbits ;)

Those are telecom cables.
Love your videos man
thank you~
the mountains in guangxi are beautiful.
非常棒的视频!
So you ride a bike and motorcycle 🏍️. That's cool.
I thought you released video about Chicago and I cannot find it oO. am I tripping? :)
no haha it's a play off of "we're not in Kansas" anymore from Wizard of Oz, suggesting I'm not at home anymore
the repetitive loudspeaker that some street vendors use to attract customers always makes me laugh.
阳朔自然风景很棒,整体规划比较差,街边的牌坊乱七八糟,当地政府对旅游资源的管理水平有待提高,应该和华东地区的一些精品小镇好好学习。
Yes, that's Chinese chess!
I can’t imagine buying a whole ass live fish 😭😭😭 like what am I gonna do with it 😭😭😭
你的普通话还是北方口音呢,挺不错。阳朔只是个小县城 😂但因为旅游出名,风景很好
The landscape of Yangshuo is breathtaking!
Nice 👍

should I jump on the trend and become a travel UA-camr? I do wish I could travel more 😂😂😂
@@ABChinese It's your life, but the niche is saturated. Did you stay in China long, or you've moved on?
Omeida is a great place. I'm here now

a small town with only 200k ppl
Yangshuo is not even a city, it is a town under GuiLin city
Oppa, please wear a helmet when riding. Safety first. Love you, oppa
ben fatto
Pigs can be organ donor, yet Westerners see no problem with eating them. But Dog, Hell no! Go figure right!
