Yeah i also played this on hard and the machine gun pits just made no sense, so i just went up to the next objective and ignored the machine gun pit and it went to the next objective
Fun fact: During the sequence when you are storming the bank you can run at the tank which is parked right in front of the building and (sort of) get in and drive around. I believe it still works!

What? The campaign is mediocre. Battlefield is played for the multiplayer. If you want an actually good single player fps campaign, try Doom, Half Life, Bioshock, the original Halo trilogy or Serious Sam. Don't get me wrong. Battlefield 3 is fun. But it is a bag of chips kind of fun. Not a quality meal kind of fun. Don't confuse fun with quality.
I still remember that in the part with the sniper when you're on the roof they specify that he's using a .50cal. Yet your buddy who gets shot at the start supposedly lives.😂

Edit: Also if I remeber correctly every support in the game (campaign or multiplayer) had montez's name on their helmet you just had to kind of glitch to see it. That's a lot of gay lovers

At least the missions are realistic,unlike CODM MW2,and the recoil is realistic,and about the armour,you want real life game,I am sorry there isn't any game like that...

I remember playing the fuck outta this multiplayer. Since bf4 didn't work on my xbox360 and since I didn't get a PS4 till late 2015, this was my go to game for like 4 years. I played it almost daily and damn, I miss it.
