    Thanks so much for the videos, those trucks i saw at the side of the farm are the ones that transport seeds or ?and why do they treat the seeds before planting in the usa?in africa we dont treat seeds, just put them on the ground and add fertilizer, and i see here the fertilizer is in liquid form, in africa not so, its solid, its like small seeds. thanks and be blessed

    • @williamchastain9510

    Hi bigtractorpower, why do tractors in the US have narrow width tires?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  4 роки тому

      Good question. The short answer is so they can fertilize corn after its growing and run between the rows. I talk more about it in this video ua-cam.com/video/yh4pe_H21IY/v-deo.html

    When they are done with the tractor, do they take off the extra wheels.

    • @williamchastain9510
      @williamchastain9510 4 роки тому +1

      steve647my not exactly the wheels will most likely stay on because they help with a lot of different applications and they put less pressure on the ground if you have more wheels so you don’t compact soil as much and having compacted soil is bad because it affects how the crops can grow so that’s why they have a lot of wheels

    • @scruffy6151
      @scruffy6151 4 роки тому

      Nope, that tractor will stay set up like that. The only thing they will do is take the tank set up off for tillage work or gain cart.
