If doubles above 17, split. If exactly 17, it depends on what the dealer has showing. If 7 or below, stay. If 8 or above, surrender if possible. If not, stay and pray.
ALWAYS look at the table rules prior to deciding before playing. NEVER EVER play a table that pays 6:5 for blackjack. ONLY play a table thay pays 3:2 on blackjack. For example on a $100 bet the dealer will pay $120. (100 divided by 5 times 6). A 3:2 table on the same $100 bet will pay $150 (100 divided by 2 times 3). STAY WAY FROM 6:5 TABLES.
For people who only have one 54 deck (if you suspicions say that people are counting cards aka cheating ) Then make a waste pile and put 3 cards by is back faceing up. If you run out of cards to hit then uss the leftovers from the waste pile and shuffle.
Mistakes: 0:42 - Over 85% tables pays additional fifh instead of additional half. 2:43 - 1. Some tables dont allow to double after splitting 2. Some tables dont allow to resplit (especially aces) 3. Some tables have a rule that on split aces you must stay on both hands. - Dealer must finish on 17. However, some tables draw on 17 (only on soft 17). 0:59 Some tables dont have insurance or/and dont allow surrender
The 6:5 blackjack is offensive in its mere existence and should be avoided by everyone. Tables that do not allow double after splitting should also be avoided. While not being able to resplit Aces is still bad and players should seek out tables where resplitting Aces are acceptable, this is considered tolerable to some degree, as is only being able to get one additional non-Ace card on a split Ace. Tables that allow the dealer to take a card on soft 17 are to be avoided as well, as are those that do not allow players to surrender. 3:2, DA2, DAS, resplit to at least 3, S17, LS should be considered the standard. Pennsylvania got this right with its gaming laws long ago and other locales should be required to follow in their example.
@@eduardoxenofonte4004 Right yeah, well ig unless you card counted and knew there are no 10s in the deck but mostly on high cards? not sure about that tho don't quote me on that. But an actual application that's actually sensible iirc (from optimal strat charts) is between soft 13-18 where you can in fact double vs 5 or 6, soft 15-18 where you double vs 4, and soft 17/18 where you double vs 3
@@Lance0 well, i don't know any counting system that specifically count 10s, but if you're sure there aren't any by all means hit on any 12, not sure if it's worth it to double though. and i said *hard* 12, unless you're using a card counting system with a side count for 10s, never double
Do a “how to play blackjack Australian version” The dealer does not get a second card immediately instead only getting it when everyone else has gone meaning there is no immediate blackjack for the dealer, automatic card shufflers also render what is said near the end moot, at some tables rules are different like you bust on a push but blackjack pays double or something I don’t remember and I never will play those tables anyway, I think that’s it… oh yeah you can only double down on a 9, 10 or 11 you can’t double down on any other number.

I didn’t realise it was so complicated. At the casino I just know hit or stick
There are some other variations you can play with that change things up, but those are the basics.
to win this, dont go to vegas
3:36 A “push” is when both your hand and the dealer’s hand tie.

Good explanation as to how Blackjack is played and won.
Aren’t you supposed to stay if you get 17 or above? And only double down if the cards equal 9, 10, or 11?
If doubles above 17, split. If exactly 17, it depends on what the dealer has showing.
If 7 or below, stay. If 8 or above, surrender if possible. If not, stay and pray.
Those are just tips on what will give you the highest chance of winning, but it’s not against the rules

I thought you could stand at 16 but wtv
Blackjack was originally played during French casinos in the year 1700 A.D.

What happens if you get blackjack on a split?
Edit: by that I mean, you split an ace, but the two cards drawn for each ace both make a blackjack
I have no idea
This depends on the table.
Standard games treat a split blackjack like a normal 21.
In Italy we have a game similiar is called "Sette e Mezzo"
Don’t care
@@kingrobertbaratheonofhouse6190 no one asked you
Wait what if both players(not the dealer) have the same sum after they stand, do they play again or what?
Tennessee the same thing that happens is the Dealer bust, both players win and gets tokens equal to their bet
the players arent playing against eachother, they both win
