My humble opinion brother is I love seeing you do what you do working on tractors doing revivals and seeing you get a couple cool projects like that mini bobcat and the new Dakota the couple cab overs something we can watch and get invested with you as you progress with them
It's crazy how much actual engine displacement makes a difference in boosted power. I'm running 22 PSI but only making 330 ish AWHP with a 2.0L engine. On the other hand I ran 10psi on the LT1 in my road master and it was Making 450ish to the rear wheels.
I love my 94 extended cab dakota that I rebuilt its a blast to drive around with the magnum v8 but I only have a 390 stroker kit not the 408 I am gettin ready todo a turbo on it but not that big of one but I do have fuel injection and all that with a big amp alternator and power everything including a/c and str8 love it
I love magnum engines! Few simple and cheap recommendations, check valves to a vented catch can, remflex header gaskets, ARP 12 point stainless header bolts, and a mesh cover for the turbo.
Let’s see lots more details on and inside of the Dakota and real dyno results with everything working properly. Then dial in the tunes and suspension and see how fast it t can be !! Looking forward to lots more
We were definitely in a rush to finiah it. I remember it was green then rhe next weekend black. He ran it and soon after broke the diff. We put that fabbed diff in. The exhaust came out righr behind the tire first then he routed it further back. I remember J specifically saying the turbo was a bit small for it. Trying to remember everything its been a few years. The builder is truly an amazingly talented guy/ Mopar at heart. He did it all from the electrical to fab down to the paint. We worked on some turbo vipers, Lee Saunders Trans am viper, ls swapped a fox body. Dis a lot of Shelby mopar stuff. Anyways i didnt know it had changed hands and probably has a few times since.
Now I'm jealous. There's a Dakota like that for sale near me. It doesn't have as much power, but it's a badass little 95, 318 with a 5 speed. Just wish I could afford it.
Dude, it is really not what your talking about. It’s how your so deliberate with working on things, right to it. That’s what we love. Fast no messing around mechanics
Bruce, never really understood what happened for you to stop posting over a year ago.... but, love it since U have been back. This DAKOTA should in be tandem with the new Flat Nasty!
I suspect you are going to get a million different opinons. haha I joined because you are no nonense guy and you like to fix up and use what you repaired. The projects like Blue Collar are my favorites. Taking what others might see as junk and bringing it back. BC 2.0 is cool, but it 's about accesoriizing a new truck. One of my favorite videos is when you repaired your friends old tractor. Like from the 40's? That family had many memories of that tractor and you allowed them to enjoy it again. I am hoping soon you will get back to Blue Collar and get that back 100% on the road. And make White Collar more usable. Transmission, AC etc. That thing is s unicorn for sure but would be a great local delivery work horse. Or fix it up and sell it to someone who could use it everyday
My favorite type of video is just a day in the life, loading and hauling tractors, maintenance and shop stuff. Then mixing in one long term project like blue collar. Plenty of other channels doing drag racing.
Alot us here that watch you just like watching engines run in general. I been watching for a while and love the old diesel engines will it start. It's informative and satisfying. I think you should keep the truck for as long as you use it.
I prefer this kinda content for you especially the diesel stuff like the old flat nasty mega truck in my personal opinion there been a little to much semi content although I like it to I’d like to see more stuff like this
I’m sure u checked that no current is going to line lock servo at master cylinder. It’s hard to take someone else’s build and run it . As u were cranking heard compression down 2 holes ,compression test , might check if pressure is leaking into coolant . SAE engineer since 1968 . Used vehicle !
Very cool new toy! As far as content...I actually found your channel watching will it starts but... I like the variety of stuff you do. Will it starts, working on the trucks, stuff at your shop, and hauling tractors. Your channel and Gentry and Sons are the two channels I watch as soon as I get a notification for cause you never know what is coming lol. Long story short keep doing what you are doing!
For what it’s worth, I like seeing the modifications about the semi trucks you have. UA-cam randomly recommended a video about your Peterbilt. I know absolutely nothing about semi’s and trucks but I still thought it was interesting seeing the changes you’ve made with painting the fuel tanks, interesting enough to make me want to subscribe.
Really enjoy the Semi content, favourite part of the channel. This stuff is cool too. Nice mix up. I like you're focusing more on things than you did in your old vids.
I watch every video regularly. nice to be able to watch videos with my kids in the room that don't have alot of cussing and whatnot. I like all your content.
My girl has a dakota sport convertible with a 318 in it, 4x4 auto it has all bolt on stuff doing about 340hp not bad for some heads an intake and some headers / pipes
I literally just picked up my very first truck last week, found it after 10 years of searching. Was also my grandfathers last truck he ever owned. Was a black '96 Dakota that looks exactly like this one. Quite literally saved it from the crusher. I plan on building it into something like this one.
"I like it". I think you should put the challenges out there to Tim Gentry, James Pretty and others who are involved in trucks, (but have cars as a 2nd passion), for some races. I would like to see that,
Hi Bruce I can’t speak for everyone else but me I love all the different types of vids you do.From starting stuff trucking , ripping your pants from a strong fart lol ya I had to get that in lol take care stay save G,Whyte
I'll be watchin the hell of the dakota vids for sure even tho I pretty much watch all ur vids and miss one or two ill go back and watch here and ther but I definitely won't miss one of the dakota vids
A little change of pace and content every now and then is good👍🏻 I enjoy the tractor and semi videos, the sxs content has been good too! Basically I'll watch whatever you upload😅 but drag and imca dirt track racing has been a hobby and passion of mine for 16 of my 29 years. So I'm definitely stoked about that content to come from that trade!!
I`m sure that thing is a handful on the street I had a 1988 Dakota with a NA 360 that had 500hp and it was quick so that being stroked with a turbo I`m sure it`s going to be worst but at lest it has Radials on it mine was running street tires
Idk what u mean about views tho... I watch every one. Being a handicap stay home dad really fucks with your masculinity, so watching yall fills a void I physically cant..
Yup bruise I miss the mega truck videos this little Blake truck will bring back some views for you just be careful in it that's alot different than the mega truck
That’s the original 5.9 rt motor just with mods on her I bet she got the stock pistons and block but she can make 1200hp without sleeveing it out I bet factory crankshaft in her too
I love the multiple content you show. It definitely keeps me interested and ready for the next video. I can’t wait to see the outcome of all your projects. Keep the videos coming and I’ll keep smashing the like button.
Yes build this truck and race it with cleet. I love your channel been watching from the beginning...you need a change up and this truck would be fun to follow you build and race.
i just recently bought a 1994 dakota w the v6 and i was thinking of swapping out the entire drivetrain, i gotta know if that engines the 5.9 that came stock with the v8 dakota, would be much easier than fabricating the ls swap
If you invested in a set of Rode wireless go 2 dual channel microphones instead of what you've been having troubles with perhaps the video views would be more consistent. If you've already managed to fix the microphone issues perhaps the views on this video without audio problems reflects that. Keep it up brother been watching your channel for several years :)
get ahold of cleetus, bet him and the boys could help and it would be a great collab
Him an cleet use to be close
When you sell it also hit cleeter up sure they would be interested
Absolutely! Would bring a ton of views and would be neat to keep it in the Florida UA-cam family!
Or jack stand jimmy, he does some wonderful things with forced induction
Who do you think Cleet bought the fire truck from?
My humble opinion brother is I love seeing you do what you do working on tractors doing revivals and seeing you get a couple cool projects like that mini bobcat and the new Dakota the couple cab overs something we can watch and get invested with you as you progress with them

That is a really nice Dakota! 408 fully forged is a beast. Enjoy it!
Whenever someone says “that’s the only issue I KNOW OF, AS FAR AS I KNOW” beware lol
I love my 94 extended cab dakota that I rebuilt its a blast to drive around with the magnum v8 but I only have a 390 stroker kit not the 408 I am gettin ready todo a turbo on it but not that big of one but I do have fuel injection and all that with a big amp alternator and power everything including a/c and str8 love it
Super cool truck I just picked up a 2000 I'm planning on swapping in a 360 stroker in (408) over the winter
Looking forward to lots more
MoPar or no car baby! Love to see you keep up with that! Love the content, the trucks and now a hot rod! Awesome!!
We were definitely in a rush to finiah it. I remember it was green then rhe next weekend black. He ran it and soon after broke the diff. We put that fabbed diff in. Would be cool to see some race content like the after hours diesel days and builds
💯💯

Just got a 93 just like yours stock with the 318 for super cheap. It’s already fast because it’s so light, can’t wait to finish her up.
I suspect you are going to get a million different opinons. haha I joined because you are no nonense guy and you like to fix up and use what you repaired. I dig the content you're doing now. The only thing I miss are the Flat Nasty burnouts
I like the old afterhoursdiesel content too. This reminds me of that. I like the tractors too but the OG flatty street truck was my favorite
My favorite type of video is just a day in the life, loading and hauling tractors, maintenance and shop stuff. Then mixing in one long term project like blue collar. Plenty of other channels doing drag racing.

I love the variety of content! But my favorite ones are colab’s with Semi Casual! 🚚
Would love to see more from the Dakota
Still commenting on the new pete you ordered, 235 is to short , 250 at the least, But 265 or 275 is where you wanna be
Bruce I've been watching you since after hours diesel with the original flatty I'm just glad to see you back on UA-cam
I prefer this kinda content for you especially the diesel stuff like the old flat nasty mega truck in my personal opinion there been a little to much semi content although I like it to I’d like to see more stuff like this

I had the same body style Dakota. Short bed 4x4 jacked back in the day. That interior brought back memories.
Very cool new toy! As far as content...I actually found your channel watching will it starts but... I like the variety of stuff you do. What a unit. Let's see it ripping :) get jackstand Jimmy and Dr tunemall to give it the once over and some extra sauce.
Really enjoy the Semi content, favourite part of the channel. This stuff is cool too. Nice mix up. I like you're focusing more on things than you did in your old vids.
Awesome bit of kit. Would love it in my shed...postage to Australia is a bit steep though.
That Dakota is so sweet ! Hopefully you keep it for a while maybe visit Cletus with it ?
Bruce you need to take it over to see Cletus and the boys over at the freedom factory.. I can feel a good collaboration
I like that you do a bit of everything .It keeps it interesting.
I literally just picked up my very first truck last week, found it after 10 years of searching. Was also my grandfathers last truck he ever owned. Was a black '96 Dakota that looks exactly like this one. Quite literally saved it from the crusher. I plan on building it into something like this one.
BROTHER PUT DUEL BOOM TOOB EXHAUST ON IT. IT WILL SOUND AMAZING HAVE THEM COME OUT JUST BEFORE THE BACK TIRES ON AN ANGLE
Got to get it the “Cleeter tune” going. Even just the 360s the put in the Dakotas from factory are insane I can’t imagine that one
Any Mopar, Cummins or big rig stuff is alway good with me Bruce...
That guy got a great deal. That tractor plus all the attachments!!
On top of how much ca$h????
I love watching all the content you put out but if I had to pick and I can’t speak for everyone but I’d love to see some flatty 2.0 content
Need to put water with water wetter in it if you plan on seriously running it at the track.
Like the well it starts and love anything that doesn't have an LS in it
Love the wide variety of Automotive content and shenanigans in your videos.
"I like it". I think you should put the challenges out there to Tim Gentry, James Pretty and others who are involved in trucks, (but have cars as a 2nd passion), for some races.
I would like to see that,
All da content, show us everything you want to. Definitely gotta see some burnies in the Dakota.
Correct me if I'm wrong, should there be a filter on the turbo intake? Debris going in to turbo will destroy it.
In a race application an air filter is creating a restriction in air flow. A daily driver car definitely needs a filter.
Bradenton bound!!!
Can't wait to see yall in cleeturs stomping grounds. Bet the fire truck could use a Bruce tune up too lol
I watch and enjoy every video you post Bruce, no matter what it is, awesome content always.
It be cool to see cab over builds
Can you do a full rundown on this trucks setup please
A buddy of mine in Lakeland put it together. He's a hell of a builder. Talented.
I helped him put all the body panels on. We replaced the diff it blew it up right away
Sweet truck every good shop needs a race truck and a hobby shop we like it thanks for the videos
Hi Bruce I can’t speak for everyone else but me I love all the different types of vids you do.From starting stuff trucking , ripping your pants from a strong fart lol ya I had to get that in lol take care stay save G,Whyte
I like the variety you give. Your not my favorite but your working on it ,good sense of humour.keep up the good work. Thank for entertaining us
I'll be watchin the hell of the dakota vids for sure even tho I pretty much watch all ur vids and miss one or two ill go back and watch here and ther but I definitely won't miss one of the dakota vids
Keep showin everything Bruce, I like the mix of all the different stuff!! Hey…….if it ain’t a Mopar it’s NO CAR 🚙
Race trucks a great idea can't wait to see where you go with it
Love some drag racing content. Congratulations Bruce keep on keeping on brother God bless and #StayFrosty my friend.
Love the Dakota!!!! I got a built turbo magnum motor and its been bullet proof!!!!!
A little change of pace and content every now and then is good👍🏻 I enjoy the tractor and semi videos, the sxs content has been good too! That's sick glad you have street toy be safe!
I like the semi & Tractor content but ok with me to mix it up here and there also..
Great content
I like the semi trucks like to see restoration of one inside and out
Need some racing seats and harness
I'm a Dakota and Durango fan love the money pars diesels too but I actually love that Dakota
So is that an aftermarket efi? Is that way better than the stock efi?
Idk what u mean about views tho... I watch every one. Being a handicap stay home dad really fucks with your masculinity, so watching yall fills a void I physically cant..
Great Video, truck needs new holly system. Change all the brake fluid Bruce. If it’s been sitting and not driven may have moisture in the fluid.
Should have came upon it a week ago and you could have been in Bristol with Cleeter and the boys burnin the tires off of it!🤘🏻
Check your horn button, probably your line lock release.
Like that little dodge good luck with it buddy see you soon 🤠
That thing sounded wicked, here for it
It doesn’t matter what video comes out I am going to be watching it. Looking forward to seeing some videos with this!
Next Cleetus and Cars!!
Keep it and go on Race Week with Cleetus
Got it with the trailer as well good deal should hit up boostmotorsport to race his Hellcat swap Dakota
I have the same log splitter that's in the bed of the truck things a beast
That’s a badass 5.9 build
You know who to get a hold of brother that Cleetus MacFarland guy. Drag and drive brother big unit
I love what you do Bruce post less 18 wheeler stuff more stuff like this and boom watch
Yup bruise I miss the mega truck videos this little Blake truck will bring back some views for you just be careful in it that's alot different than the mega truck

Take it down to the Freedom Factory or over to Cleetus and get it on the dyno
Great video Bruce nice Dakota sounds good. Just have to work the bugs out of it. Nice trade Bruce should be fun stay safe.
