System of a Down has so many songs worthy of a listen that aren't music videos. Their entire catalog is amazing but I'd most recommend Streamline, Holy Mountains, Ego Brain, Highway Song, Sad Statue, Innervision, Dreaming, Prison Song and Deer Dance for starters. That isn't even a complete list of their 10/10 songs. They also have amazing covers of Berlin - The Metro and Black Sabbath - Snowblind

This song was written in times of the conflict in Nagorny Karabakh (Armenia and Azerbaijan both have claim for this region) so this song is mostly about that
It’s not only about genocid in past 100 years, it’s about last years when every year neighbors lied about history, culture, everything about Armenians and killed continuously Armenian people on the borders and even Hrant Dink and Gurgen Margaryan (just search a little info on the web), a lot of stories like that

See the South Park school shooting episode, and, you understand better how numb everyone is to constant violence, death and suffering, and how if anyone really cares they are the crazy one. 6:44 I would like to take a moment and talk about this. I saw System of a Down with Incubus in Grand Rapids, MI in February 2000. Before the show I was able to go to a meet and greet with all of Incubus and SOAD. I’m not bringing this up because I am a big deal. Im bringing this up because that is when 19 y/o me met Daron Malakian.
I am here to testify that no amount of therapy Taylor can muster from this universe will ever fix my soul from this encounter. Daron is effing weird!!!! Prolly the strangest dude I have ever met.
I’m obviously being very facetious about the therapy part. And actually I LOVE how much of a character Daron is. I just find it funny that after we left the meet and greet I said that he was the oddist dude I have ever seen. 24 years later it still holds true. But I love and respect Daron for that-especially since I’m a weirdo myself.
Side note: this is for any SOAD fans from GR/West Michigan. I could find all sorts of videos of SOAD in Grand Rapids before the 2/7/2000 show and after it. None of this actual show. But during my cursory research, I found this awesome “Daron Hates Grand Rapids” clip from almost 2 years to the day after the show I went to. You’ll probably want to read the video’s description to really understand more. It’s funny tho.

If the world had seriously condemned Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh in 2020, subsequent wars would not have occurred. However, Azerbaijan easily initiated the war without serious condemnation from the US or Europe. All they did was call for the war to stop, and that was it. Azerbaijan has gas that they supply to Europe, making their dictator convenient for them.
