@@gabrieliuszalp7974 Yeah that was also really fucking random. For most of the story CJ is a decent enough guy for a criminal but then there's a handful of occasions where he just goes full blown serial killer.
It’s funny seeing Dave Norton being the one Lawful Good corrupt cop on this list. When I saw that was for lawful good character for GTA 5 the first thing that came to mind was, “Some of the government…. Some of it is pretty corrupt”
Imo Officer Hernandez from SA would be a Lawful Good type. The only crime he commits himself that we know of is forced on him, and he spends his entire time trying to get dirt on the corrupt CRASH division. He’s a good guy, and even risks his life to save CJ. I think he’s one of the few cop characters in the series who has noble intentions and didn’t willingly do anything wrong. Only issue with placing him is the fact he’s basically a background character.

@@orion.2072 Ehh, CJ does have his principles, though. He does abhor the drug trade, of memory serves, and he's unerringly loyal to friends and family for the most part. As opposed to some others who willingly do human trafficking or drug trade (the latter especially for Vercetti, as Vice City is, effectively, a Scarface game).
A lot "Good people" in GTA are just people whom hustle for living and didn't betray anyone, It's might sound easy but one wrong move moral alignment will change forever lol.
Thanks for acknowledging that this list is a "Best fits" list. I don't think any major player in SD or HD GTA is even close to actually being Lawful. Either in literal "Follows the law" to the more accepted "Follows a code, personal or otherwise". Betrayal is a pretty common theme for almost every game, so main and secondary characters rarely if ever are entirely "predictable" for lack of a better word.
yup, "lawful" in the classic dnd alignment doesn't mean laws set by the government, but also generally a set of rules, even if it's a personal set of rules.
I agree with Franklin being True Neutral, though I think he is slightly more interesting than what you gave him credit for, and that's mainly because of the duality between him and Lamar. Lamar, as much as he has a chip on his shoulder, is stuck in the gang life metality and for the majority of the game is off doing gang stuff, with Franklin coming along with him because that's his friend and he has to make sure he is safe. Franklin goes along with everything mainly because he doesn't really know what to do in terms of being bigger than what he was born into, which is why he works mainly under Micheal at the start since Franklin saw an chance to make it bigger even though he just stole Jimmy's car. I will agree that out of the protagonists he is the straight man of the bunch, but it's also because of Trevor and Micheal being almost opposites in terms of personality. He is pretty loyal to his friends and does speak up with his own personal feelings like when he yelled at Micheal and Trevor when they were arguing just to give a polite hello to Lester or when he apologized to Trevor for laughing that he fell.
Little Jacob makes a fine alternative for either Neutral Good or Chaotic Good in GTA4. Despite being immersed in the criminal underworld, he is insanely loyal to his friends, often the voice of reason (in the Roman death outcome he pulls Nico off the assassin, and encourages him to flee), and charges in via chopper in both endings. A true “Ride or Die”.
Trevor as chaotic evil was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this video, so I think you're right about him 100%. I think lists like these might be easier if you don't think of 'lawful' as abiding by the US laws, but instead a law or code that a character lives by. For example the bikers are outlaws, but they do have a code.
39:50 I can’t blame Kate for being to preachy since she doesn’t want to see her brothers and Niko get brutally killed due to their criminal activity or they will likely become just like her abusive father.
It must be extremely stressful to create this video. However, great job on not only completing this video, but I strongly agree with the placements and explanation for each character from each game. 👌👌
1:08:02 Amanda is lawful? There’s a mission where Michael has to save her from being arrested for shoplifting. Obviously not nearly as unlawful as Michael, but she’s not without her own unforced wrongdoings.
Well, getting caught for shoplifting and pulling of the most expensive heist on the planet after being a notorious robber on a crime spree for many years are quite different things
She does it because she's a bored upper class housewife seeking a thrill in her life. She's a lot like Michael that way but she's a lot more closeted and low key about it since Michael robbed banks for 10 years to get his kicks.
In my opinion Jim Fitzgerald fits more into Lawful Good as he (in the perspective of that game) followed and protected his brothers till he died, doing anything and everything within their rules to do so. Man's a treasure(er)
The cool thing about gta3 is that there are some familiar voices in the game one of them being the guy who does Salvatore’s voice I can’t remember the actors name but he was in both goodfellas and the sopranos!
You make a good point about San Andreas. However with mad dog being lawful neutral makes no sense. That title should go either Caesar or Woozie & vice versa for good. However, the real mix up is the evil slots. Loc shouldn't even be there, because it's Loc. Lawful would go to Sweet, since what he's about is his hood & principles. Not good in the slightest, but in the sense where it's mainly because of his environment. Same goes for Smoke, but because was clearly brainwashed by the money & promises of Tenpenny. Which led him to that state of where he was, for not being seen as serious like Ryder(which got a crap ending on his end) Tenpenny the embodiment of chaotic evil. It's all because of him, which why all that happened. He was setting Smoke up to be the Drug lord & take cuts, pinning gangs against each other (as seen them living in "peace" in 5), & kills whoever gets in his way. He literally has his hands in every pot of the story, that brought nothing but betrayal, destruction, & death.
That’s… Not what Chaotic means. Tenpenny is 100% Lawful Evil not just on the grounds of being a cop, but because Lawful Evil means Systematically evil. Neutral Evil is pretty synonymous with ‘Flexibly Evil’, where Chaos is an option, not the goal. ‘Chaotic Evil’ is damn near ‘Evil without a goal’, it’s Evil for no other reason than self-service, which yes, is Officer Ben Ten, but everything Tenpenny does is in service of ‘Providing Lawful Justice and Order in a way that best serves him, consequences and others be damned’. Smoke’s goal was simply to get himself made, he had no other ambitions than that. He just wanted to be remembered as the motherfucker who made it, and even though at some level he likely did still care for his hood and his homies, clearly not enough when compared to his own personal success.
@@invertedcrab8285 @invertedcrab8285 "Officer Ben Ten" I like that, & understand what you mean. However, when it comes down to the definition of these words. It's in the title, but easily looked over. So let's do it like this. Lawful Evil - Sweet "he takes what he wants, within the limits of a code of tradition, loyalty, or order." In other words, him trying to have a meeting with other high ranking members of the gang. Neutral Evil - Smoke "does whatever he can get away with, without compassion or qualms." Him stating "fuck the world" after smoking & getting caught by CJ at the end. Chaotic Evil- Tenpenny "acted with arbitrary violence, spurred by their greed, hatred, & bloodshed" Betraying everyone (even his fellow partners), setting up random but calculated events(riot, gang war, civilian death, etc.) killing any & everyone getting between him & his goal of absolute power. Smoke he was trying to get Sweet in on it, like he did with Ryder. Even Tenpenny was calculated enough to beat the charges he was facing. There was no order or tradition in his mayhem, only calculated greed. Smoke(ironically to his name) was clouded by Tenpenny's false promises. While Sweet was on the "good" side, but too deep & stubborn to get out of his hood while he had the chance for his on good.
@@trimutts4275 bro. This is why trying to moraly evaluate ANYTHING with these rules outside of D&D its so dumb. These characters, nearly all of them, are full of enough layers to fit in nearly every moral class. Everyone is at least a bit evil, good, some preffer to act within the law and others completly outside of it. This is so dumb.
I'm likely gonna have to edit this at times, but oh well. It's easier to get thoughts down as I go. I'd argue Claude is on the precipice of becoming a Chaotic Stupid. Someone who only picks the Chaotic Neutral alignment because they think they'll be allowed to do whatever they want without consequences. And thus go on constant killing sprees. Claude only does this when told to, but based on your description of the rest, I'd say he's real close to an alignment shift. Your Lawful Evil guy actually fits the bill perfectly. I and others interpret Lawfuls as those who may follow laws sure, but it can also fit those with more personal laws for themselves or those they work with. So long as they follow those strictly more often than not. If I recall right, Mafia families have always been known for rules within the family to maintain order and the bonds required to keep business as usual running. So yeah Lawful Evil for your Mafia guy suits him just fine by that logic in actuality. I'd say the Vice City one checks out just fine, not much to really say on that one. Especially given the game itself seems to not have much to work with. Yep San Andres also checks out on this one. Luckily the characters have more to work with by the sound of it. Not to mention there's more of them too. Ok after this one Imma just wait and see if any games also have alignment charts that are just fine and fit everyone properly before saying anything more. All Imma say for Liberty City Stories in particular is that once again we see alignment shifts. Course the shifts happen in a previous game in the video as this is a prequel.
Imma put this one in a reply for ease and such. The others before GTA V(just about to watch this bit) have all pretty much matched up as best as they can for what the smaller games and dlc for GTA 4 will give you character wise. That said am I the only one who would like to see a GTA game where you play as an MC full time? You could totally put in some Sons of Anarchy references every now and then too. Or at least use the show for inspiration. Definitely an excuse to pull Ron Perlman into a GTA game too, if he was up for it of course. Seriously he'd make for one fun character I'm sure. Hell you could even use the Nordic Biker wars as inspiration for such a game too. Look up the Absolute Mad Lads episode for that story. It's long and a doozy but definitely interesting for sure.
Yep GTA V alignments are also solid, this was a fun video for me. Especially since playing DND is nigh impossible for me at this time due to lack of a laptop or computer of any kind right now. Also I'm with you on Trevor. Man's own morales are a mix of trauma fueled on top of only really serving his own ends most of the time. The only arguably good thing he's got to his name is refusing to backstab Michael, even despite all that happens. He doesn't even do anything to Franklin if you choose to kill Michael, just says f*** you before refusing to help in any way. However, as I said above for Claude being on the verge of Chaotic Stupid, Trevor is just that. He is Claude gone off the deep end and then some. Trevor is a murder hobo through and through. Just happens to occasionally take a chill pill long enough to cooperate with the party, so to speak.
I understand that things have to stretched to fit the alignment chart, and the work done here is trumendous but I had to give a clear indication of what the alignment chart means, The video is created with the assumption that the viewer has an understanding of the alignment chart, However the video lacks to explain what the alignment is, and often places characters on the chart in consideration to their methods and not the understanding of their nature. As stated in Basic D&D pg.55: Law (or Lawful) is the belief that everything should follow an order, and that obeying rules is the natural way of life. Lawful creatures will try to tell the truth, obey laws, and care about all living things. Lawful characters always try to keep their promises. They will try to obey laws as long as such laws are fair and just. If a choice must be made between the benefit of a group or an individual, a Lawful character will usually choose the group. Sometimes individual freedoms must be given up for the good of the group. Lawful characters and monsters often act in predictable ways. Lawful behavior is usually the same as behavior that could be called "good." Chaos (or Chaotic) is the opposite of Law. It is the belief that life is random, and that chance and luck rule the world. Everything happens by accident and nothing can be predicted. Laws are made to be broken, as long as a person can get away with it. It is not important to keep promises, and lying and telling the truth are both useful. To a Chaotic creature, the individual is the most important of all things. Selfishness is the normal way of life, and the group is not important. Chaotics often act on sudden desires and whims. They cannot be trusted, their behavior is hard to predict. They have strong belief in the power of luck. Chaotic behavior is usually the same as behavior that could be called "evil." Neutrality (or Neutral) is the belief that the world is a balance between Law and Chaos. It is important that neither side get too much power and upset this balance. The individual is important, but so is the group; the two sides must work together. A Neutral character is most interested in personal survival. Such characters believe in their own wits and abilities rather than luck. They tend to return the treatment they receive from others. Neutral characters will join a party if they think it is in their own best interest, but will not be overly helpful unless there is some sort of profit in it. Neutral behavior may be considered "good" or "evil" (or neither), depending on the situation. AD&D and beyond consider the "Good" "Neutral" and "Evil" affixes to explain a character's justification for their goals which could be altruistic benefits for the group, or selfish benefits at the expense of others. For example, the average person is considered to be true neutral, they have a stable way of life and if things happen to them they will take the rout of least resistance to return things to a place of "normalcy", they will consider the benefit of self and a close group of family, they will not thing if their means justify the end goal or if their desires come at a sense of altruism or exploitation.
I mean if you are going with the DnD proper definition of the spectrum Trevor is Chaotic Good as insane as it sounds. Because he os the very definition of a Zealot Paladin. Look how a Zealot Paladin acts, they would go into a town preach the word of god, would both abuse and show kindness to their followers. Is fiercely loyal to them and will kill mame all the no believers and heretics. And Trevor's exact way of life is said by himself, "Well, loyalty is important. Let me put it that way... loyalty is important. I mean, that's the only code you need. Loyalty is the code. Kill strangers. Protect friends. Eat enemies." He is a Guard dog.
That's how you know GTA IV characters were so very well written when there were several options besides Mikhail Faustin in the neutral evil or chaotic evil category.

Iiiii....don't think you fully understand how the D&D alignment system works but i agree that Trevor is a complete monster. I remember being extremely pissed when he killed Johnny K D:
For gta 4 chaotic neutral i think the perfect fit wouldve been Mikhail Faustin, brucie is only chaotic when hes in his roid rage and when he comes off of it he kinda realizes hes been acting insane lol, but hes a total idiot so he goes right back to it, so it doesnt totally not fit
Funny thing about the Pegorino Crime Family, they're not only notorious but is comedically unpopular, Liberty Tree always make speculations about the events that happened in Pegorino's missions, their name was never mentioned at all Unlike the crime families in Liberty City, once the Pegorinos did had power or did finally became well known, nobody likes them and no one respects them unlike when other people did respect Gravelli
I agreeded with most of your pics but I feel Avery karington from Vice city was more morally good compared to his apprentice Donald love who eats people and has the main character blow part of a city instead of a still developing building. So I feel he was far more evil then his mentor.
I think if you're trying to judge the personality and alignment of a player character, you can mainly only judge them based on decisions that the player doesn't have input on. Cutscenes and mandatory mission objectives are fair game, but player actions performed unprompted aren't. Optional but intentional side activities, optional mission objectives and choices given to the player that affect the story are a bit of a gray area and could go either way. Like, It's safe to assume that CJ did some home invasions himself after he helped Ryder rob the veteran's house, but Tommy Vercetti probably didn't go on a series of random, unprompted rampages across Vice City.
I think there are some good-aligned characters in GTA 5 that are better fits than Dave, Martin, and Lamar. Solomon Richards (Lawful Good) is a kind yet eccentric old movie producer who wants to ensure his movie is made through more or less lawful means but Michael has his way of being an assistant. Tanisha Jackson (Neutral Good) is also a good-hearted person who doesn't break the law and tries to have a stable life with a brain-surgeon or lawyer, she still cares for her old friends Franklin and Lamar even though they are involved in criminal activity. Jimmy De Santa (Chaotic Good) is naive, dumb, and a bit selfish wanting to sell his dad's boat to gangsters but cares for his family and wants to be a good friend to Franklin. He also saves his family from one Merryweather goon in the movie premiere mission. GTA V: LG - Solomon Richards NG - Tanisha Jackson CG - Jimmy De Santa LN - Dave Norton or Molly Schultz TN - Franklin Clinton CN - Michael De Santa LE - Steve Haines NE - Devin Weston CE - Trevor Phillips
I feel as if Tenpenny should be Neutral Evil seeing as how he'd have other officers killed, even those riding with him, to further himself showing he follows no real code, but has the sense to do it in a way to make himself seem innocent of it, meaning not Chaotic. Big Smoke on the other hand, only got to where he was because he followed along with Tenpenny and not stepping out of line with them, making Smoke Lawful Evil. I would even go so far as to say CJ is Neutral in the sense that all he really wants is to get him and his brother out of the gang life while Grove is being taken over. He only agrees when Sweet pushes him to stay and fight back. Sweet is probably Neutral, just due to being the leader of Grove Families. Granted I haven't played the game in years and could be misremembering some details.

Donald love is a cannibal sir Sir Claude killed Salvatore because he betrayed him and kenji he was ass Sir Maria lie had nothing to do with Salvatore betraying Claude the lie just fuel his paranoia from Sonny’s death and CJ betraying him
If anyone is lawful good it’s definitely Floyd. Dude is one of the few law abiding citizens in the series. He just wants to go to work, marry his girlfriend and give her a great life. The worse he does is harbor Trevor and Wade who are criminals in his apartments and help Trevor in the Merryweather heist but he’s being forced in all of that and literally has no choice since it’s all being ran from his home
1:06:03 dave didn't do the deal for info, michael needed go get out of the game, and he meet him somewhere, where they made a deal, Trevor was supposed to be killed, and brad goes to jail and Michael disappears and he keeps paying dave 5 figures a month
I definitely disagree with Tommy and Niko’s placements. Before Trevor, Tommy was easily the most violent and evil GTA protagonist. His main goal is to become the kingpin of Vice City and he’s one of the only ones where killing civilians is canon to the story. Niko is likeable but he has the highest body count of any protagonist and doesn’t seem to regret or moralize any of his actions in the game and is willing to betray a lot of his employers. I think Tommy fits better in neutral evil and Niko fits better in chaotic neutral imo.
Dave isn't lawful good, he got all the glory for changing Michael's identity. Every month he got some amount of money from Michael, mostly from the job Michael did.
If Trevor is anything, he's chaotic good or neutral The 'few positive personality traits' go a really long way, when they're actually 'love and loyalty' 'Unlikeable monster'? That's my favourite character, and I'm not alone, far from it
Hey, taking illegal drugs with strangers doesn't make you a bad person. Now, taking illegal drugs FROM strangers......thats just wrong. Everybody deserves hugs, and everybody deserves drugs, for when there are no hugs. (Yes, I am a poet. Yes, I deserve a cookie. A Space Cookie.)
There is a official short film that exists of GTA 2 would show some bit of personality of the GTA 2 protagonist "Claude Speed" so what would you call him? Chaotic Evil?
I'm gonna have to disagree with LCS Toni being put in chaotic neutral. The guy murders and displaces at least hundreds of innocent civilians by blowing up Fort Staunton.
Why is zhao not on the Chinatown wars list? He’s a total psychopath, he was blowing up cars by willing firing a mini gun at them In public. He wanted Huang to make sure a man didn’t die in an ambulance just so zhao could kill that man himself by brutally butchering him graphically. And when Huang had arrived to kill zhao, then zhao had an attack helicopter ready to kill Huang. Why would you leave this guy off the list? Atleast replace Rudy with zhao.
I will play devil's advocate and say, Trevor should have been chaotic neutral, he is not evil evil, and we know his backstory, he was in the way to become an airforce pilot, but was deem too mentally unstable and was about to be honourably dismissed for health and safety reasons, but however, michael goed him into a crime life and encouraged him in his worse tendencies, a victim of circumstances if you will, michael basically left him for dead by the time amanda rolled in, and had not michael or amanda rolling into to ruin his life, trevor would not end up being any worse that carl or franklin, a piece of nothing protagonist that sees no difference between stealing a parled car and behead someone with a shotgun at point blank
I would put Claude in neutral evil since he is a psychopath that only cares about himself in the game. he is only focused on his own plans getting revenge on Catalina and has no regards to be loyal or empathetic to anyone else his motivation is to benefit from everyone to achieve his goals. This makes sense, because the only difference between neutral evil and lawful evil is that a neutral evil would have no limits and have questionable morals of what kind of evil they would do to anyone in a way that is unpredictable. It is a more self-interest alignment for sure and Tommy is just chaotic good because he is a psychotic killer who has no stable contact on reality because of psychological issues he went through from being put in prison and all of the immoral acts he did in order to get revenge can be justified because he lies, cheats, and manipulates people that deserve it.
I would say some Mafia guys are lawful in GTA3. They apply to some laws and morals. In my opinion they are very lawful in a way. Just not applying to the law of the US Maybe I misunderstand the concept bit Mercedes is not lawful as far as I get it. She has no sense of order or anything. Her actions are immoral. So I can see her as more of a chaotic good. Or am I getting it wrong?

It’s funny seeing Dave Norton being the one Lawful Good corrupt cop on this list. When I saw that was for lawful good character for GTA 5 the first thing that came to mind was,
“Some of the government….
Some of it is pretty corrupt”
🙈🙊🙉
“Not uh, not your bit, right?
@@dominicC1964 yes but we’re corrupt in a good way…
Imo Officer Hernandez from SA would be a Lawful Good type.
PUTS TREVOR IN CHAOTIC EVIL
"This is going to be controversial..."
WHY SOMEONE WOULD THINK THAT????
Because some people like trevor and say he's loyal to people he cares about
@@Hi_Just_Freddid you play all the dlc's for gta4? I sure did lol. I'm not saying I loved the one biker guys character or that Trevor didn't have redeeming qualities. I'm just saying about one minute into his intro, I knew he was bad lol. All the people I know who live Trevor live his character because he's evil. That would be like your favorite character being Darth Vador because of his inherent goodness lol.
@@shanetaylor761 again, just saying some people argue he's loyal to those he cares about and therefore not chaotic evil.
Not saying that's how I see it, I personally think he is chaotic evil even if he's loyal to some people, nobody's trying to say he's good just that some fans would say if he was chaotic evil then he wouldn't show loyalty to anyone.
@@Hi_Just_Fred nah I get you, and you're probably right. It's just crazy because I thought him being evil is what makes him great lol.
I think he moreso meant the fact he found Trevor to be an unlikeable monster, emphasis on the unlikeable.
having CJ as chaotic good when he literally buried someone alive in concrete because his crew catcalled his sister is crazy
To be fair, in the grand scheme, CJ is practically a hero compared to other GTA protagonists
@@Kytseo compared to cipriani and trevor sure, but burying someone alive ??? huang lee and vic vance are definitely way better than him, franklin too, tommy too, luis and johnny same, niko is debatable since he was a human trafficker, i would consider Micheal better too though. i really think he's one of the lowest tbh
@@Kytseo he's against the crack trade*** and it was because it was destroying his gang and hood. he never had any problems with other kind of drugs
what goes around comes around, honestly
A lot "Good people" in GTA are just people whom hustle for living and didn't betray anyone, It's might sound easy but one wrong move moral alignment will change forever lol.
Thanks for acknowledging that this list is a "Best fits" list. I don't think any major player in SD or HD GTA is even close to actually being Lawful. Either in literal "Follows the law" to the more accepted "Follows a code, personal or otherwise". Betrayal is a pretty common theme for almost every game, so main and secondary characters rarely if ever are entirely "predictable" for lack of a better word.
DLC stuff exists that might invalidate this statement
yup, "lawful" in the classic dnd alignment doesn't mean laws set by the government, but also generally a set of rules, even if it's a personal set of rules.
Stressful, not really. Tedious, absolutely.
It’s GTA. Someone whose only crime is shoplifting is basically lawful for this series 😅
She does it because she's a bored upper class housewife seeking a thrill in her life. She's a lot like Michael that way but she's a lot more closeted and low key about it since Michael robbed banks for 10 years to get his kicks.
I’m so glad I found this channel every video is a banger
An hour long video? Oh, I know this is gonna be a BANGER. 🙌🏽🔥🔥
In my opinion Jim Fitzgerald fits more into Lawful Good as he (in the perspective of that game) followed and protected his brothers till he died, doing anything and everything within their rules to do so. Man's a treasure(er)
I would say the british couple in gta 5 are more sciopathic then Trevor cause in the first cutscene they literally weird him out
Only one thing, you say Donald will never become as bad ad Avery but you blow up half of liberty city for him in LCS
The cool thing about gta3 is that there are some familiar voices in the game one of them being the guy who does Salvatore’s voice I can’t remember the actors name but he was in both goodfellas and the sopranos!
Frank Vincent.
As it should be
I love these types of character breakdowns, especially this series.
great video man, thanks for a great listen while gaming
Great video as always! But damn, I wish more people liked Huang Lee as much as I did, his snark was always entertaining in my opinion 😂
mentioning kidnapping, cannibalism and potentially (probably not tho) rape, would have nailed the chaotic evil sign into trevor's head, lol
Awesome vid man. Though you forgot to mention two chatacters in GTA 4, Playboy X and his boy Dwayne Forge. I dig there missions.
*their missons
Very unique video for sure. Really enjoyed it
Oh boy opening a new can of worms.mmmmmm bacon worms.
The fact Madrazo doesn't retaliate against Trevor is 100% out of kindness. Bro has more than enough money/resources to kill whoever he wants.
Great vid. Thank you. Redberry did a ranking as well. 😊
Which led him to that state of where he was, for not being seen as serious like Ryder(which got a crap ending on his end)
Tenpenny the embodiment of chaotic evil.
So many upstanding characters in this series!
loved the video but slight editing mistake at 28:28
I really hope it was a mistake.
I think it's a joke due to his name being Toni
True neutral cannibal and succesor Avery? Didnt expect that at all.
The LK little joke had it for me OMG haha.
8-ball was a nice guy. RIP GURU
Amanda in GTA 5 did get caught shoplifting so I’d have to put her down at chaotic evil
Yeah and Trevor once gave Auntie Denise $7 so he goes right up to lawful good
I understand that things have to stretched to fit the alignment chart, and the work done here is trumendous but I had to give a clear indication of what the alignment chart means, The video is created with the assumption that the viewer has an understanding of the alignment chart, However the video lacks to explain what the alignment is, and often places characters on the chart in consideration to their methods and not the understanding of their nature.
As stated in Basic D&D pg.55:
Law (or Lawful) is the belief that everything should follow an order, and that obeying rules is the natural way of life. Lawful behavior is usually the same as behavior that could be called "good."
Chaos (or Chaotic) is the opposite of Law. Chaotic behavior is usually the same as behavior that could be
called "evil."
Neutrality (or Neutral) is the belief that the world is a balance between Law and Chaos. It is important that neither side get too much power and upset this balance. The individual is important, but so is the group; the two sides must work together. A Neutral character is most interested in personal survival. Such characters believe in their own wits and abilities rather than luck. They tend to return the treatment they receive from others. Neutral
characters will join a party if they think it is in their own best interest, but will not be overly helpful unless there is some sort of profit in it.
What's funny about Trevor is that he's either Lawful or Chaotic depending on your interpretation of what Lawful means.
And Trevor's exact way of life is said by himself,
"Well, loyalty is important. Let me put it that way... loyalty is important. I mean, that's the only code you need. Loyalty is the code. Kill strangers. Protect friends. Eat enemies."
He is a Guard dog.
@@De1tAStreaMdamm. Og called Trevor a Doge. Now i have to name my dog Trevor. 😅

Amanda isn't lawful she has a side mission where she gets caught stealing and you have to save her, making her a fugitive, but small things
That's how you know GTA IV characters were so very well written when there were several options besides Mikhail Faustin in the neutral evil or chaotic evil category.
Insulting Angus since he's in a wheelchair oh my 😂
Thats a wonderful question...is "Stanton" or "Groove Street" based on the game version of South Central...Compton...or Watts ? And what is "Grove Street Families" based on ? Are they "Bloods" or "Crips" ? In my opinion "GSF" are "Bloods".cuz the ballas is based on "Grape Street Crips" which their colors are purple...so it makes sense that "C J." was a Blood.......
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Ryder couldn't be on the list knowning how his role was clearly changed - with his original loyal role, he would be perfect chaotic good.
26:32 Ole girl was jonesing for Narcan 😂😂
19:12 not to mention what he did to the construction workers
Not going to lie that be cool if you made one of these type of videos for crash bandicoot or mortal kombat
Im not going to lie when he was talked about Tony i didn't notice at first he changed it from lcs to bgt 😂
NGL, I actually predicted OG Loc to be placed in Neutral Evil.
20:55 I would put toreno in lawfull evil tbh, I think he is doing stuff that isn't good such as killing lots of ppl, stealing jets from the military and much more, but I can understand that he is a agent of the goverment and well he is doing it for the better of his country
Yay another video! I love gta so i think this will be interesting
I had a ripped version of GTA 3 on pc and I’ll never forget how blunt the cheats were. Want a tank type in GIVEMEATANK 😂. But my favorite cheat ever was in GTA 1 where to get everything you changed your name to THESHIT
Funny thing about the Pegorino Crime Family, they're not only notorious but is comedically unpopular, Liberty Tree always make speculations about the events that happened in Pegorino's missions, their name was never mentioned at all
Unlike the crime families in Liberty City, once the Pegorinos did had power or did finally became well known, nobody likes them and no one respects them unlike when other people did respect Gravelli
I didn't play GTA 5 but I knew Trevor was going to fit a particular position
Wait, Phil Cassidy actually got sober in “Vice City Stories”? I thought he was mouthing off and was continuing to drink.
I'd agree Tony Cipriani wasn't that evil if it wasn't for Bringing The House Down.
Wade Heston redeeming himself by not arresting wang at the end of game.
Character similar to him would've stab wang in the back.
In the grim dark future of the 2nd millenium, everything now runs on dnd rules.
Please do this concept on sleeping dogs next and saints row if you’ve played themm
“Shit rocketing fanward” was amazing I gotta give it to you
I agreeded with most of your pics but I feel Avery karington from Vice city was more morally good compared to his apprentice Donald love who eats people and has the main character blow part of a city instead of a still developing building.
Justice for Floyd. He was definitely the lawful good of GTA 5
GTA V:
LG - Solomon Richards
NG - Tanisha Jackson
CG - Jimmy De Santa
LN - Dave Norton or Molly Schultz
TN - Franklin Clinton
CN - Michael De Santa
LE - Steve Haines
NE - Devin Weston
CE - Trevor Phillips
Babe wake up its bacon
Hey Wade isn’t that bad, he has the distinction of being basically the only character that’s mostly nice to huang although not at first.
Holy crap what a long video. (Adjusting pants) Let’s get to it then.
Sir have you played gta advance then you would think different about Asuka
Sir it wasn’t Maria fault Salvatore turned on Claude It’s because he was paranoid.
Donald love is a cannibal sir
Sir Claude killed Salvatore because he betrayed him and kenji he was ass
Sir Maria lie had nothing to do with Salvatore betraying Claude the lie just fuel his paranoia from Sonny’s death and CJ betraying him
Never thought I'd be early to a TBD video but here we are let's get into it
I disagree, Claude and Toni are much more evil than Trevor.
Saving maria just to shoot her at the end feels like something catalina would do.
How can OG Loc be evil for asking but CJ not be evil for doing?
OG Loc is a pest, not an agent of evil. I wouldn't put him on this list. I would put him in Freddy's cell
If Trevor is anything, he's chaotic good or neutral
The 'few positive personality traits' go a really long way, when they're actually 'love and loyalty'
'Unlikeable monster'? That's my favourite character, and I'm not alone, far from it
TBP doing another GTA video?! This is too good NOT to watch!
I don’t think any character could be called “lawful”
There is a official short film that exists of GTA 2 would show some bit of personality of the GTA 2 protagonist "Claude Speed" so what would you call him? Chaotic Evil?
1:06:03 Michael was not in witness protection
I never said he was
You forgot GTA: Online
.............."AWHILE BACK"
I'm gonna have to disagree with LCS Toni being put in chaotic neutral. The guy murders and displaces at least hundreds of innocent civilians by blowing up Fort Staunton.
Nice!
Franklin is boring but at least more likable than most characters in gta v
Im late but i disagree claude isnt that bad compare to toni or trevor
I would say some Mafia guys are lawful in GTA3. They apply to some laws and morals.
In my opinion they are very lawful in a way. Just not applying to the law of the US
Maybe I misunderstand the concept bit Mercedes is not lawful as far as I get it. She has no sense of order or anything. Her actions are immoral. So I can see her as more of a chaotic good.
Or am I getting it wrong?
Where would you put Dwayne, playboy, packie and Elizabeta
