Fallout 4 is a post-apocalyptic, Sandbox role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth game in the Fallout series/franchise, and has been released on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The player is the ONLY Survivor of Vault 111. The player is the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, who emerges 210 years to the day and time after the Great War. Prior to this, there is a brief period of gameplay during the pre-War era showing the player living with their spouse and child. Nuka-World is the sixth, and final add-on for Fallout 4. A radio signal will activate on level 30 and start its first quest, All Aboard, which will direct the player to the Nuka-World transit center. Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride! Automatron is the first add-on for Fallout 4, released on March 22, 2016. It requires the player character to be level 15 to start playing. The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices! Far Harbor is the third add-on for Fallout 4 and was released on May 19th, 2016. A new case from Valentine's Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we've ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons.

I dont really care about romancing Curie, but the fact that she made a breakthrough was such a relief to me when I played.
Because in the synth-transfer quest, Glory was all mad on me by the end. And then Curie kept telling me that she keeps getting distracted and cannot conduct research properly. I thought I did something wrong in the quest or that I just made a mistake by completing that quest entirely. So the fact that everything worked by the end was such a relief…

I’d assume the reason you can’t romance Deacon is because he would always say no. He’s still grieving for his wife probably and thinks that letting anyone in close like that would make them a target for the institute

I know Preston is memed to shit about the infinite settlement shit but I've always liked him, he's always been a genuine and selfless person. Seeing this actually made me kinda sad for him, the fact he lost so many comrades and kept going in such a miserable and bleak world is admirable.

Really love Codsworth and how he admires your achievements if you play a good character. Like I know he is what a nanny bot and he is literally programmed to be a obedient loyal servant but the way he acts and presents himself his praise doesn’t sound like programming but genuine care for you the player and what you have done.
Codsworth isn’t a robot butler he is your family.
I like how Codsworth, Curie and Nick have been around for more than a hundred years, complete metal with hardware computers as brains, yet they're the most softest hearted people in the game.
No matter how many times I replay the game, watching Codsworth break down to the Sole Survivor will never not be emotional for me. Just how the dam comes down and the rivers come flowing cemented him as one of my favorite characters.

Oh wait, that was a quest before Bethesda cut it all! This is so sad. I would love a “BoS + Railroad alliance to take down the Institute” ending. There is a big lack of factions cooperation ending, the closest we have is Railroad having to rely on the Minutemen for their cause but its not the same, they dont actually join forces.

Second, if you want to avoid his another settlement needs help thing just tune in to radio freedom every now and again and wait a bit, he can’t give you a minutemen quest if you already have one (though radio freedom can). Third, I don’t know what the hell y’all are yapping about when y’all say he has no emotion in his lines, he does.

Fallout 4's writing gets a lot of shit (not all of it undeserved), but one thing it absolutely did better than previous games is giving all the companions unique personalities. I love how Nick and Preston are two completely different characters with their own likes/dislikes and backstories. And you really grow to care about these characters, more so than any other characters.
You saw this in New Vegas (haven't really played 3), especially with Boone, but I don't think you really got involved in his story like you do these companions.

You’re right. The only thing fallout 4 is better at fallout nv in other than combat and graphics is the companions. The companions in new Vegas like Boone, arcade and Veronica are good but in fallout 4, there’s so many more options and they feel more real. Like if I killed all the followers of apocalypse, arcade wouldn’t say anything or even warn me, I have to leave him then get him back then he’ll tell me no. I don’t think I can even have romance with arcade. Also sometimes during quests or encounters the companions in fallout 4 make a comment like if you fall from high heights or during random quests. They feel much more real than fallout nv and that’s the only thing I feel fallout 4 is better than fallout nv in

Nick Valentine is my favorite in all of this, he’s truly a good, good guy, regardless of him being a synth. It shows that what he cares about is doing what’s right, what’s good for people and that I think is the greatest quality anyone man or synth could have. I would do anything to be friends with him. ❤

yes
Chaos you can still reach max affinity with everyone, you don’t have to side with the institute or brotherhood to get Danse or X6, you just have to find them and do a quest or two then you can keep them and reach max affinity, the endings however will decide what companions will still be available
