Great content! We need to talk more about storage, display, lighting, etc. Maybe it's not as sexy, but as important. I worry long term about dust proofing, dehumidifying and other upkeep items like that. Keep it up!
Great info here. One option I'm doing currently right now is a Home Depot garage shelves. Aka muscle racks. As is they look industrial. But I'm customizing it to look like a moducase. Extremely sturdy they hold a lot of weight. So far not that difficult but I haven't got to cutting the plexiglass yet. That might give me some headaches. A big thing is to shop around for the right material. For the shelves instead of felt is what moducase uses I used synthetic felt. Not that far apart & not noticeable when in a shelf behind plexiglass. For the background I used matte black foam boards. Looks just like moducase but modu is more solid and sturdy. But idc about that its just a background. As long as there mint condition and look good I'm fine. There's more materials you will need but these two & the plexiglass are the main things to get right to make it look as close to a moducase as you can. So far I'm extremely happy I went this route and it's going to feel great once it's done knowing I built this thing with my own two hands.
@@ExtremeViper99 do it bro!!! It holds so much! I have 3 shelves and there all full of resin statues. The best part is you could adjust the shelves to whatever height you like. I wanted it to look as close to Moducase as possible so I went with all black. White looks good and reflects light better but I think all black looks nicer for this imo. I bought my racks in grey and spray painted them in black. And man what a difference that made alone. I’m so glad I did this and I will always do this from here on out. If there’s any info you need just message me back. But I will recommend to check out this channel on UA-cam call pop culture. It’s with the guy his name is Costa. He’s great at explaining everything kind of makes it feel simple to that’s where I got all my information and inspiration from definitely check it out. Good luck with that man you won’t regret it. Trust me.
Moducases are the way to go. I’m a hot toys collector which runs about 250-400 per hot toy. A Moducase is 250-500 (depending on which one you go with) is dust proof looks fantastic and it sturdy AF and can hold a good amount of figures per case. This hobby isn’t cheap so to me it just makes sense to spend the money on something that will properly protect your figures while also making them look fantastic.
hi, may I kindly ask what's the Display shelf Height, for the 'level' in which you have, the biggish Superman, Cap America, Killmonger and fallen Predator HAHAH @ the 3:51 mark! doing up some shelving and i wanted to get a best estimate of what height it shall be. this one looks good.
@@dirtzmagurk200 I just checked my 1st order, which was $1900, shipping was total $109- from Cali to New Hampshire, but that was last year and allot has happened since then

Hey man, doing this myself. Was wondering how it holds up for displaying figures or if you’ve moved on to another case. Thanks

Cool video! First time watcher!! Good list!
Great idea with the sprinkler pipes
Great recommendations!
I need to get away from my detolfs! I've had them for over 10yrs now. I think Moducase is the next move. I just can't seem to pull that trigger.
Xtreme Collectibles has a couple good videos on them as well as a solid point of view for investing in Moducase for your collection.
@@boldroast1197 Okay! I'll check them out. Thanks brother!

Where to buy these type of cabinets in India can pls anyone tell me? Any site??
What about anti UV systems? Nobody worried about solar UVs on their figures?
No worries there, man. The people who collect and display these things have never seen the sun.

The problem is any one can touch your figure I don’t like people can touch it . It s expensive bro
Ya.... I have $3500 worth of Moducase.... and with these you need soap reactors for the full experience
How is the shipping on those? I mean is it expensive aswell? Or is the price already added with the price?
@@dirtzmagurk200 shipping was included in the total price it wasn't that bad actually because it ships out from a US Warehouse in California
