The hate posts seem to come from people who might not be following Buells progression closely, and it's always important to remember that early renderings and prototypes don’t represent the final product. As for questions: Brake Manufacturers: Who are they going with? likely they’ll update closer to 2025?? Aftermarket Exhaust Options: Are there any prospects? Will there be any at all or will we have to build our own? Delivery & Service Centers: Where is this taking delivery? Buell seems to be ramping up production, so assuming customers who put down deposits will likely receive updates on delivery timelines and locations for the V3. As for service, I’m assuming Buell will likely have an official network of authorized service centers, especially with their efforts to rebuild their brand infrastructure? It would be nice if Buell released more detailed info on these aspects soon, especially for those awaiting the bike’s arrival!
I used to own a 2007 Buell XB12 STT or aka Super TT. Awesome bike, wished I had kept it. This Buell looks like someone built it in their garage. It may run well but looks cheap as heck. Dealer help would be nonexistent I would be willing to wager as well.
I was excited about this bike at first but now it looks very cheaply built with the only thing going for it being the engine which in reality is dated itself imma stick with my lowrider which is an amazing bike
I guess I must be the only one here that likes the bike! It looks very utilitarian. It may look rough to most people, but I like the ruggedness and the function over form appearance. To me "pretty" is overrated. This was made to blast down the road. Great vid!
Thought about it for quite a while before I decided to go ahead and send in my $1k. I don’t agree with most of the criticisms I’ve heard. I don’t give a shit about the exhaust, mirrors, signals, or decals/paint as I will change all of that. And I like the simple, minimal display, although I would prefer old school analog gauges. I do wish they had stuck with the perimeter brake, but I think it way come through as an option. If so, mine will have it. As for service, I live in western ND. I am likely gonna have to drive a full day just to pick it up. I will obviously be turning my own wrenches. I am fine with that, as long as Buell can provide a decent service manual.
Triumph Rocket 3 is priced about the same as the Super Cruiser, has loads more torque, and is far better looking in my opinion. I'm not in the market for a bike with ridiculous power lol, but if I was I'd be looking at the Rocket over this
The Rocket 3 will be my next bike. Then as a toy I'll get another 100th Anniversary Fat boy and do it up even better then my last one and then maybe, just maybe I'll call it a day :)
A triumph rocket 3? That’s your comparison? Get out of here, you win dumbest comment. Might as well comment that your vstar has a 1 hole service rather than 3. I agree that the bike sucks but you are lost.
It's crazy because the reservoirs look exactly the same as the ones on the Arch KRGT1, and that's a 80k bike. lmao. Im still excited for the bike though. Buell always reminded me of a motorcycle Shelby where there's some rawness/unrefined nature to it, but the performance is great.
I like the Buell SC & I placed my order/deposit. But now that certain parts are being changed. It makes me think, how can you make bikes great again? IMO if you start off by cutting the better options out.Maybe it’s time to cancel my order…
Which parts are you referring to? I'll admit I'm an Ohlins guy but I know Fox makes some great stuff. I don't expect to have to change that out so I'm happy with the Fox setup. I like the perimeter brake but I've never had one so I guess I won't "miss" it.
I have a deposit down too and now that they are not coming with the perimeter brake I'm on the fence. I ride a Buell XS12 and that brake is a big part of the Buell identity, I hope there is an option to keep it. As they develop the bike from the prototype that we all got excited about it seems to be getting worse every time, I know a lot is for legal reasons but I feel like some of it is losing the plot and we will end up with sportster clone.
I liked the idea. I've been following it for a while but with the close ups it looks cheap ? Unfinished? May be fast handle but the looks got a long way to go just my 2c..

Just like you said Trotlebip, it’s still in the production process so let’s wait PLEASE… Yes I would to see same bike today as the RSD version but it’s what it’s… I just hope they can make the frame look better because it does look like your typical galvanized home pipes frame ..
And to get the best from each company. Manufactures tend to get "lazy" until they have some competition in the market. Glad someone else realizes that.

Wow, it's bad, really, really bad. How embarrassing for USA manufacturing that in 2024 a bike with this poor fabrication, materials, and covered in ebay parts. I would say it looks like a Chinese bike, but they haven't made bikes this bad for a decade, its not even up to the level of an india scooter manufacturer. Just think about that for a moment.
Cruiser is right where buell belongs overpriced old tech
Overpriced grift , just ask Buell what ya don't get😂
Over priced? Superbike power and suspension on a fxr style frame.. Harley charges the same for a 90hp bike that weighs 700lbs
