Ha, ha, you got me, I should have known, how could one spend days at York and not come away amazed and thrilled by the experience. You hit the nail on the head, of course York is about the trains, but for many of us it is much more. The people and the friendships that come with the York experience is the best part. That ultra-wide birds I view is very interesting. Not something I have seen before. Sorry we did not get a chance to connect at York, not sure how that happened, but I'll try to do so at the next event where we both attend. Enjoyed the video, keep up the great work! Bill B.
That video from 16' above really captures the enormous size of York better than any other video I have seen. Great for people who have not been to York to see! I laughed when you got called out for going the wrong way down the aisle in the member hall. I did the same thing my first time to York too!
Thank you!! Interactive 360 video coming soon!! That was actually me saying "wrong way". . To politely acknowledge that I was breaking the rules, to get the video. They smiled at me and waved me by😁
Just remember that most of the dealers are there in October. Spring April shows are usually slow. Hope to see you in October. Stop by Henning's Trains booth we will be celebrating our 85th anniversary.
After last years April show I wondered what this year would look like. Thanks for the hall views. The April show seem to still be shrinking, more empty table, and was surprised at the setup of Orange definitely less tables in there then in the past.
I first filmed this when the place was full, and I had to keep stopping as I ran into people. . So I waited until the end of the last day to film again. Some people had already packed up and were headed home at this point.
I understand what you meant about talking with people instead of train shopping. .aking new friends is one of the benefits of york. I am one of the people who stopped you and jen to talk with at the october 2024 york show. Nice to meet you. Jim from kansas city.
So great to meet you there. Love what you’re doing and can’t wait to see the 360! While I wait, I gotta work through the backlog of your videos I’ve missed. Another good problem to have!!
@dadified86 Great to meet you as well!! . . While watching your videos today, I asked Jen if she remembered you. . She said "the guy with the glasses and huge smile that gave us stickers, of course I remember" i was dying 😂🤣
I waited until the end of the day so I didn't have to keep stopping in the isle to allow people to pass. This happened in my first take and it was a mess. So I tried later.

Did you know the Lionel custom runs are numbered? Look at your P51 SD SD70MAC brown carton. C/NO.19 means carton number 19. So you have #19 out of 60
I did see that! Pretty sweet, Sean!
Shawn,? How does no 11 equal number 19? Something i don’t know?

Where is everyone? No crowd at all…

A lot of empty tables
