I enjoyed that video so much. I also had to stop and have some nuts with chocolate. Then I lol’d when the dog came to join you for lunch 🤣 and bet he would even like your vegan food.
When I first started to eat plant based, was because I was dealing with many PCOS symptoms. But I got my period back more regularly compare to 3-4 times a year, clear out my hormonal acne and had less cramps, sadly I got diagnosed with IBS and started the low FODMAP diet and it was really hard to stay plant based duo to severe symptoms and only animal protein won’t give me abdominal pain, any way! Since I started to eat animal products again, I lost my period and when I do get my period I have horrible PMS 😢 hopefully someday I can get back to eat 100% plant again. Your food looks so delicious.
Aw, the low FODMAP diet looks tough! I also really struggle with PMS so I am hoping that slowly cutting out the processed foods and eating more whole foods will help with that 😢 its so tricky trying to balance everything isn't it! Wishing you the best 🤍
I just found your channel and I'm subscribing immediately! 💜 Plz, plz, plz, don't forget to include a B12 supplement in your diet, as we cant get B12 from plants.
Thank you so much!! At the moment I eat a lot of fortified foods with added b12 but I’ll def add a supplement as I eat more whole foods, I’ve heard the sprays are best!
Hey, Thanks for doing this excellent vlog. I had the same issue as you with only considering bananas as having 2 days perfect ripenness lol but I was in hospital for 19 weeks lately and my meal plan included a banana each day for breakfast, and I quickly learned that the nurses were not going to waste their time searching out my preferred ripeness of banana, and you wont believe it possible Samantha but I have actually learned just to appreciate bananas at all stages of their ripeness, Obv some are not particulary what I likem and some bananas just tasted rubbish cos probably cheap ones, but hey you could try that. More importantly though, you absolutely dont need to apologise or feel less cos you have take away or eat out or buy premade, esp when you give up so much time to work so you can have extra money and make use of these things. I am not good at taking the easy option either but my dietician says it is far better to have something ready made than to skip or have something insufficent, and also using this stuff helps like keep barista in a job and people who do catering and often they taste way nice too. I dont have PCOS but I do see you using loads of great healthy ingredients and I am also with you on carmelised nuts for flavour! Sainsburys does these honey roasted ones which are delicious. I look forward to the next one, and you have the best colour of smoothie! its so lush, X
Ah I'm sorry to hear you were in hospital for so long, I hope you're feeling better now! 🤍 luckily my bf is happy with a banana regardless of ripeness so if they get too much for me he can eat them haha. You're so right, its hard to not feel guilty when ordering stuff but it does help out with businesses and takes the effort/pressure off me having to cook. I will check out Sainsburys selection of nuts next! Thank you so much for watching!!
