Retronomics is the reason I am subscribed. I think buyer's guides and product reviews are probably good for views but have a much lower first time viewer : new subscriber ratio. Hundreds of retro games buyer's guides out there. Many other channels review gaming products... But THERE IS ONLY ONE RETRONOMICS. Documenting higher end and more desirable video game price trends. You say it's not evergreen but I disagree and say that it is very evergreen. Becomes more interesting as it ages. Imagine watching a retronomics video of the same format made in 2007. People would be fascinated. The information in your retronomics vids are most useful when the video is fresh, but their entertainment value increases as they age.
I'd bet that clicks could be baited with retronomics thumbnails that give a spread of many or all of the 25 games covered. Would only take one game in the thumbnail to potentially catch the eye of someone scrolling UA-cam and trigger their curiosity.
I'm thinking more broadly instead of focusing on a specific system. I can't really go into details here because some people have sniped my ideas before I have a chance to pull it off. But it should be a much more improved series that people can't replicate as easily as they do now.
