We ran into Bama Saltwater last week at J&M Tackle and he was the real deal. Extremely gracious, gave the kids some stickers, and an all around great guy. Keep doing what you love!!!!
Happy to *meet ya'll!!! I enjoy the positive feedback! Especially in person! Thank you
Hello Steve we really enjoy your program we think you're awesome keep up the good work man we love backyard fishing
I went to school, fished and hunted with John and Mike from J&M as well as Mark Russo from Sam's.
@@YELLOWLEAF205 Great people !!! You probably know our great friend Hal too!!
Steven can you do a flounder fishing video this week to see what's in the pass and bay. Great videos. Thanks
Your my hero. Been down here all week from TN. Weather has not been friendly. But even a rainy day on the beach is a good day!!!
Thank you!!! and yes, it's been raining like crazy, but I fully agree!
Went to Belize a few months ago and caught some Cuda and a few small tuna. Our guide kept it all and cooked it for us that night, and though I was nervous about eating the Cuda, he turned it into a delicious Caribbean style curry! Sometimes you just gotta trust the locals!
I watched either South Florida Fishing or Florida Fishing Couple out with one of their friends they kept a cuda and made ceviche and it looked really good. Bluegabe was in Panama and they kept and ate cuda and so did Landshark definitely seems coming to keep in the central / South American people’s diets.
Yes!! It's in the plans to do a CCC on the Channel for one.
Always loved fishing the platforms in the Gulf. Nice day on the water for you fellas. As always i appreciate the content your're sharing. May your lines forever stay taught. 👍
Thank you!! Your's as well!!
Dude you’ve taught me so much. I look forward to you videos all the time
Awesome to hear!!!
nice Haywire twist demo at 9:00
Seeing that hammerhead reminded me of working on the Loop oil platform back in 2001 just after 9/11 wow did I see a lot of hammerheads in the water and occasionally a ray that looked like a house just sailing through the water real slow. Some of the guys would pull up huge red snapper with a hand line. Amazing time!!! I sure do miss the gulf.
I'm glad your taking a buddy along. It's way safer out there
I’m always learning something new from the GOAT! Every video is like Christmas. Keep them coming!
Those were some big Spanish Mackerels. Appreciate you showing how you rig your tackle.
Hey Bama I love how you do your videos because we do the same type of fishing. Keep up the awesome videos, much love ❤❤❤
Thanks for giving us another tutorial on the wire leaders! Gonna keep at it till I get it.
Hey Steve,
I encourage you to do some research on handling mackerel with bare hands. It can damage the fish's skin and cause it to die within two days. My brother and I fish as well and this is something we learned about a few years ago.
Happy fishing!
so glad to have you on the gulf coast. i love seeing your videos and recognizing the scenery. glad to see you staying humble and gracious for the opportunity you have and thank you for providing such great content!!
He’s getting scarily consistent wish we could go out for alantic snapper season but conditions are horrendous
Absolutely love your videos! You are obviously a man of faith and I love that even more. Thank you brother 🙏
4:08 dolphin/ orca roll up
Best fishing UA-camr in the gulf!
Thank you!!!
Y’all slaying them juvie kings and some nice axehandles bro. 👍🏻🤙🏻
Hey Bama Saltwater, loving your vids! When you tried to show us he hammer head shark I thought... man, it sure would be nice if he were to use a camera with a polarized filter... I bet it would allow us to see the fish approaching the boat on each catch too... maybe ... Keep up the nice work, gentleman!
Today i went freshwater fishing with my friend and caught a 20 pound carp, and a 5 pound talapia, and good job on catching like 10 macrell
Cigutera is actually pretty rare in our part of the Gulf. It is mostly generated from coral reefs and is far more common in the Caribbean.
Very true! I actually like eating the smaller Gugaunches
@@BamaSaltwater Cuda is pretty darn good! Like kings I’d stay away from the bigger ones.
@@robgover8341 Thanks for the feedback! I plan on making a video really soon Catching, Cleaning, and Cooking one since I haven't eaten one in a long time! Just looking for the right size !
It was awesome talking with you at the rig! Thanks for being so approachable and kind! The boys were thrilled to meet you!
You as well!!!!! Happy ya'll came up and said hey!
I appreciate these videos. Especially that you took the time to show how to twist metal leader
Good dude. Thanks for showing your set ups and techniques. My dad and i use to fish out of grand isle and he's gone now, your show brings back many fond memories of oil rig fishing . Thank you for explaining species and limits, how to cook and filet. You got a friend in Hot Springs Ar.
Wow... and the last video or two, I have been wanting to ask what the biggest Hammerhead you have seen. Just kind of crazy that I was thinking about it and then you get to see one! Thanks Steven! Hope the finger didn't need stiches!
Best fishing channel out there. Keep the lines tight‼️
i’ll be in gulf shores in two days i have a place down there always wanted to run into ya i fish all the same spots you do and go to the same bait shops been watching since the beginning brother keep up the hard work

Mannnnn I been watching for a while but I gotta say. I’m stoked when you upload ! I work in the oil field, and when I’m home I fish every chance I get. But I feel like I’m fishing through your videos while also learning !! Love it
Awesome to hear and im happy to share!!
Great video, I've never caught Spanish so big, awesome 👍❤
Enjoyed that video. Those Spanish and Kings are lots of fun when they are schooling.
Great video as always, Steven!!! Keep up the good work!!! Tight Lines!!!
Love you bama keep up the work
Great video as always man we all enjoy these so much
Its nice to see your vids again after not being on youtube for a long time.
One of the best UA-camrs ever right here. Keep up the great work!
Appreciate you!
Hey fellow fisherman Thank You sharing the experience again you never know what is on the line when you set the hook or what trust in faith can reward!
Great job fellas
I love your catch and cook. I'm learning how to fillet from your videos. More catch and cook and recipes !!!!
Awesome, thank you!! And yes, they won't stop
love how the tag end of the wire just falls onto the floor or the boat. i do the same with my used soft plastics lol
Hehe ikr. Easy to Clean up once back home
Come and listen To the excitement, my friend👍
Thank ya!!!
Huge Spanish! Next to salmon, thats my favorite.
ty for another great vlog
I go to vacation in orange beach and your vids teach me so much about fishing in the area
absolutely love fishing from the fort morgan pier. we try to go down there every year.
I do too!!
Love your fishing vids! Awesome channel! Thank you!
Hey Steve. Have you ever done a rod and reel arsenal video? If so I can't find it on your library of videos. Thanks for the great content and positivity.
It’s in the works . Been waiting on a couple of reels to get out of the shop all year
Man I love watching u catch those big Spanish and them cudas are bad dudes lol
I'm to see all the little kings, the last few years have been really slow for kings on the north gulf coast of Florida.
It has been for sure! I am glad to see them thick too. Maybe the next few years will be better. Last really solid king mackerel year I had was 2015.
I only used the 28lb wire for mercury fishing. I see Van Staals, can't hide money!
I think I've fished that rig. We call it the triple rig. Didn't realize it was in Alabama. I fish out of Pascagoula,Ms. Love your channel.
Fish are attracted to sounds and vibration of the rigs. Fish communicate through vibration.. Barracuda are pretty good eating only thing is they're filled with pin bones.
Exactly. And I don't mind eating the small ones. I like to stay away from the real large ones on the dinner table
Can you please do some tarpon fishing ? I would love to see that !
Awesome... and with the bonus hammerhead!
We saw a couple going out but that one was the bigger of the two. Really neat!
Love the new channel banner sir
Thanks!!!! I do too.
I love watching ur vids. I watch all of them.
Great fishing. Gotta love it.
I’d love to catch some of those Spanish Mackerel.
Thank you! I enjoy catching them and really like eating them fresh! Luckily, they can be caught by beach, pier, jetty, and boat !
Awesome fishing trip
I caught a nice sized barracuda in the Indian Ocean while I was stationed at Diego Garcia Island. They are poisonous there from eating the tropical fish
good day of fishing good day good water all good an really good info..staysafe..
Killer stuff ! A auto watch every time you upload
Appreciate you homie!!!! Keep me motivated
Great catch and great video, fish on 🤙
Great video man keep up the good content
Thank you!!!
Hey man
Dude awesome video
Want more backyard fishing and se bobo more we hadn't seen him on any more videos did you forget about Bobo we miss him
We need more surf fishing vids
I love you videos there informative and fun to watch
Outstanding!!!
I cant wait till doc releases me from broken neck so I can get sum!
Wish ya fast and Smooth healing!!!
Enjoyed this. Thanks.
Nice King's and Spanish! Never fished like that for either species. Always trolling spoons or skirted menhaden or cigar minnow rigs. Looks like a lot of fun!
It's incredibly fun to fish this way. It's how I learned to fish on the State Pier. Really effective and incredibly simple
You should get a long hook remover for the toothy critters. They are about a foot long and kind of look like pliers with a big handle and tiny jaws. I use them when I catch sharks, keeps your hands away from the bitey bits and you don't have to leave a hook in the fish.
Yes, I've been meaning too for sure
Great video, and nice fish! Cheers!
STUD....Cuda bro, and those Spanish.....wow! Use that smoked fish dip recipe i sent ya
Yezzir!!!! I will on some more Macks. It's hard to beat
Hey Steven, awesome awesome video again. The wife and are going next month to Fort Morgan camp ground for 5 days and brining the boat. How gar are these oil rigs from Mobile bay. I just spent 4 days fishing Navarre and Okaloosa pier, fishing stunk. Ready to hot the water🙂 Your videos are so fun to watch, keep on fishing brother 👌
Caught and ate same cuda down in Aruba. Actually not too bad of an eater
Ouch! The hazards of trying to be nice to a cuda! He didn't appreciate you.
I’m at the orange beach this week and we’re trying to catch some decent fish but with not much of a luck
Stephen ,
U think a Fish mouth Opener would help yall remove or clip tackle off / out OF Gamefish or Non Gamefish to Improve their Chances of Being Naturally / Survival as Catch Numbers Increase On a Great Bite Day in the Gulf of Mexico,,,, 🤙🏼🐟✨
Brother those cuda are delicious! Caught a few in California years ago and my aunt roasted them in the oven, the meat is amazing!
Sweet, I like the smaller ones, but you have a good recipe? I'll try it next time!
@@BamaSaltwater I'd have to ask her what she used to prep the fish, if she even remembers. That was almost 20 years ago
Great video 👍👍
Another amazing, fun day of fishing ! Thanks !
I like fishing for kings but always thought they were kind of oily.
I'm going to Alabama gulfshores. I will love to go out fishing with you
Hey, love watching your videos and use some rigs you have used in your videos and it has helped me tremendously. I was trolling with my dad by those rigs and doubled on a two jacks over 20 pounds using stuff I have saw on your videos. Thank you sir.
Heck yeah!! Good job! Those are fun
Orsum fishing, can you show how to twist the rig you are using so we can see how to do it ower selves please.
It's always a good day when Steven uploads apologies if I spelled it wrong
Love your videos when are you going to do another one with Red Fish ?
Soon!!! Been working on a neat video as we speak
I feel bad that Bama Saltwater spends days and days getting his gear ready, fishing, filming, editing.... makes a perfect new video and then I fast forward through it and watch it in like five minutes. 🤣
Let it play even if you aren’t watching it so he gets credit for a full view. It helps the way content creators get paid.
That was a big barracuda
I will always love his vids
