I was excited to see Sabbath live 4-1-1986 in Montreal with one of my favorite vocalists Glenn Hughes. I was upset and disappointed when I realized that was not Glenn singing,...but a then unknown guy Ray Gillan. I love the album, a true masterpiece.
Ray Gillen was no slouch and you should consider yourself lucky since Gillen was just starting to realize his full potential. Vocally speaking he had a great voice. RIP
Yeah, Tony fired Glenn after a dozen or so gigs on the 'Seventh Star' tour. Glenn was doing massive amounts of cocaine and his singing (live) was horrible. But Glenn obviously got clean, he's a monster vocalist.
Tony Iommi doesn't get enough recognition for his lead guitar playing skills. He's known for writing some of the coolest sounding riffs of all time, but his soloing ability is very underrated in my opinion.
Black Sabbath, Seventh Star and Glenn Hughes is one of my favorite incarnations. Glenn's smooth voice added something different, yet great. I'm going to, once again, after 25 years or so, listen the entire album. He still has a great voice to this day.
@@NightmareSnake , yeah, I forgot about those two songs, they are good too, it's just that imo the ones I mentioned are a bar above the ones you mentioned.
To be fair, the 80s did a number on all of us, the over the top style and musical styling was so iconic it influenced even the most brilliant artists from the 60s and 70s , regardless this was a great album
This album has some uniqueness maybe because of glen Hughes he sang very nice in this song in particular.

If a band like foreigner or journey had released this in the eighties it would have been a number one hit…
Very true
Seventh Star is so underrated. And Glenn Hughes' mullet is to-die-for!
The 80’s, Tony high as a kite
Tony Iommi (guitarist & founding member)
Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple bassist/vocalist)
Geoff Nicholls (longtime keyboardist)
Dave Spitz (White Lion bassist)
Eric Singer (future KISS drummer)
I love this album don 't care what anyone one else thinks.
It's one of my favorites also
It's one of Sabbath's best
It makes me cry
Brilliant album.
100% agreed
Glenn's screams beneath the chorus, shows what a hell of a singer he is
Still listening in 2023? absolutely🤘🤘
Amazing song & Glenn’s voice is superb (as it still is today).
i agree nice song , but this is not blacksabbath....
Maybe Glenn didn't want to be the frontman, but man, what a voice. And he still has it. I love how he can cry notes. Awesome for Metal love songs.

Glenn, Glenn forever.

It's an interesting point of view
Of course he does. Even Eddie Van Halen called him THE RIFF MASTER

Timeless, Glenn's voice and performance of Mr Iomi, one of his best
I love this song best ballad they ever did
Excellent
This song and "It Feels Good To Me" with Tony Martin on vocals are the best power ballads by Black Sabbath.
Would You Won't Change Me count as a power ballad? And Too Late is also a great one.

Iommis playing at 1:43 is so awesome!!!
After filming this video, Tony Iommi allowed Tasha to board the Enterprise-C, emerging in the past where she gave birth to Ozzy
Nice
Amo esta canción!
Geff Nichols with B .Sabbath? Where is him? It’s great song, No Stranger to love, I’m like🙌
Geoff Nicholls was the keyboard player (R.I.P.)

Tasha Yar!!
THAT TIME WHEN TASHA YAR HUGGED TONY IOMMI IN A METAL VIDEO.. NO STRANGER TO LOVE
I think Tony wrote it about Lita Ford.
I think so
He wasn't with Lita in 1985.
Hm, Agustin, yes he was with her in 1985.
Really? I should check out, wait a minute.
Yeah just found it, you're right mate, thanks.
The videoclip version it's different of the album version? I love the backing vocals singing "OOOOHHHH " and "AHHHHHH".
Yes, on this clip there is the single version of the song, you can find ot on the Deluxe Version of the album
Boy glen Hughes sure changed but his voice stands tall
What documentary is this from?
What was the reviews on this song in the 80s??
I watched a interview with Toni he owns owned the dog from the video dogs name,Killer
Someone else you think that Glenn is looking like George Michael in this video?
Eric Corrêa He doesn't seem like himself in the video, I agree.
Just saw the video and had no idea that was Glen Hughes, looks nothing like him to me.
Lol I agree
Thought it was. ( My bad )
Glenn Hughes é uma lenda e é o eterno parceiro de Tommy Bolin
Underground Morlock Blues...
Люблю Саббат.
Whaaaaaaat? Tony Iommi on a strat?
Washburn
according to him, he is not and i repeat not a stranger to love
That Sabbath Hughes album was very bluesy. Don't you think?
That’s Glenn Hughes on vocals
Ray Gillen
Is this a remix version .as can hear background harmony vocals on the chorus.
The dog has more screen time than the band. Also the chick from Star Trek.
That’s Bing Crosby’s Granddaughter
Was Glenn the bassist for Deep Purple in the early 70's?
Wow Tony didn't played SG guitar
