Or that truck probably falling over or at least "drifting" side-ways on a fucking high-way and the break-checker just leaving. Hows that supposed to be "break-checking wrong person", at least as long as you don't consider that truck driver being wrong cause he over-reacted or something, but that would be idiotic in-itself.

Not so true ! I was driving an articulated truck on the A10 when an ass..hole cut right in front of me to take an exit. (The exit is signed 1.5 Km in advance) I could not slow the truck fast enough due to its size and weight so I ended up just few meters away from the idiot. The Great German Police saw it but because I was driving a British registered vehicle, they did me in for not keeping 50 meters distance behind the M.f..ker ! I had to fork out,on the spot, 185.00 Euro fine ! BASTERDS ! They left the M.F..ker drive away, he was German !

That doesn't exist in Germany. In fact, it is worse.
When you report the plate to the police, nothing will happen. Because you have to catch the driver "in flagranti".
Not the owner is liable, but the driver.
When asked, the owner can simply say he or she wasn't driving and can't remember who was driving the car at given time - and that's it.
Unless you cut off a police car or create a warzone, nobody will care and it's all on you alone.
      Great, isn't it.

One of my friends' wife used to enthusiastically drive their beater F-150. She loved that truck more than her Mercedes! It was just like you were describing. Rusted to the point it looked like it had a communicable disease, with mismatched fender on one side and mismatched quarter panel on the other. Had a big knob of a hitch on the back (but I don't think she had the two balls hanging, lol!), and what must have been a Kenworth bumper on the front. It was a tall truck; just somewhat jacked up so that most car drivers couldn't see UP and INTO the driver's seat while in traffic. If they could, they'd see a little old lady just toddling along jamming to Sinatra or Elvis, hahaha! But when she would put on her turn signals, it was like watching a flock of geese all take off at once trying to escape a predator!

What you are proposing is "zero tolerance". I get it, because I hate brake-checkers too. But let me paint you a picture. You pass somebody. Legally. You used your signals, moved into the passing lane, put on the gas, and passed them promptly and timely, and you didn't dilly-dally driving next to them for 10 miles, like a lot of idiots do. You signal, now you move in front of them, because the passing lane is for passing ONLY.
And...uh oh, you see a dog to your front. Or a deer. Or an elk. Or a person. You have NO IDEA what this animal or person might do, so you step on the brake to bleed off some speed so that you will have more reaction time in case that animal or person darts into your path. Here's the question: Did you brake check? What if the driver behind you doesn't see the animal? What if the cop behind and to your right can't see the animal either? Are you going to lose your car for this? People are wrongly accused all the time, you know. "Zero tolerance" is almost always a bad policy.

In some states in the US, you can get a ticket for "lollygagging" in a passing lane. It should always be that way. And if the lollygagger tells the cop that he just wasn't paying attention, then maybe he should get a big fine, then lose his license and insurability for 6 months. If we hit them in the wallet, most people will adapt to expectations and will improve their skills.

At 9:28, the cammer was driving in the passing lane AND NOT PASSING ANYBODY. The person behind them had EVERY RIGHT to flash their lights. That's what you're supposed to do when you want to pass somebody: Flash your bright lights in their rear-view mirrors so that they see you and move over. That's courtesy. The cammer was lollygagging, just being lazy in the passing lane. The cammer should have gotten a ticket. The brake-checker should have gotten a ticket too. In fact, the next two clips AFTER that one also showed people in the left lane (the passing lane) but not passing. In the US, the left lane is for passing.
Also at 20:40, another cammer driving in the left lane and NOT passing.
Also at 21:17. This was in another country, where they drive on the left side. But here too, somebody was camping out in the far right lane, the passing lane. Yes, the brake-checker should get a ticket. But so should the person not passing in the passing lane.
And AGAIN at 21:55, the person who got brake-checked was driving slow in the passing lane!

There's a difference between lane splitting and lane filtering. What the motorcyclist did was lane filtering. That's when you move forward to the head of the line at a stoplight. It's not meant to piss car drivers off; it's a maneuver that helps keep motorcyclists safer by getting them out from between cars. There is a long history of car drivers who don't pay attention to motorcyclists and sandwich them between bumpers.

    • @justaskin8523
      @justaskin8523 Рік тому +5

I don't care what it's called. It's dangerous and should not be allowed. Motorcycle riders all say that cars shouldn't share the lanes with motorcycles. I agree with that. But lane splitting/filtering (whatever the hell it is called) is the same thing in reverse, which is the motorcycle sharing the lane with cars. If something is bad for the goose, then it's bad for the gander too. All lane splitting, spitting, filtering, chuffing, knuffing, lolling, or gagging should be illegal. Bikers can pass when a LEGITIMATE gap opens up, not whenever they feel like it.

He was just slowing down because he probably didn't know if the barrels were marking a merge to the left. Don’t take this the wrong way. Brake checking is one of the dumbest moves you can pull on the road, but a lot of these were people driving slow in the left lane, either making someone mad, or getting mad they’re being tailgated.

Some clips were not even brake checks, such as the idiot pulling out in front of the ambulance and getting pulled over by the cop. The descriptions often didn't match the severity of the brake checks.

I'm a Highly skilled driver and I have seen the worse of the worst. I had to start driving what looked like a police car to keep other drivers from acting like asshats and even with that I still got hit while at a redlight by a lady on her phone doing 60mph... now it hurts to drive! I miss my 2011 cvpi, she was a great car for being a courier driving 300+ miles per day. My dash cam "disappeared" after the crash (I think the cops lost it) All I got to keep off the car was my mag wheels as all my stuff was taken while at the tow yard.... I still has ptsd from that hit! It was the only time I wasn't able to see it coming and get out of the way in a split sec! I may never get to drive without pain making it not any fun to drive where before, I'd use any chance I could just to be on the road and behind the wheel.... I only got 17k from the settlement and 7,500$ to replace my car. I lost a mint 2011 Crown Vic, my job and any hope of getting back on the road like I had been been for the past 6 years working as a courier. My life as a "super driver" is over and my dreams of becoming one of the best drivers in the world isn't going to happen now. I'm too broke and broken. I don't know what I'm going to do now, all I've been doing is trying to get better and keep from losing my mind... I failed.

why do people do such things?? yesterday a maniac tried to overtake me without giving any signs, driving almost parallel to me!! i had to almost stop..to avoid the accident by 1 cm, while doing that i was sure there will be a crash....the guy in a car was a frustrated ugly man...with a wife. he most probably beats her! That is an obvious anger problem for hospitalization. In this footage, I do not understand why when you are in front of a car, you need to break!??
