One of the most melodic of the 37 concertos for solo bassoon composed by Vivaldi. I've heard multiple versions of it previously, but this one, by a young soloist, has not only freshness but also a delicate, soft attack. You don't hear the key sounds, very smooth playing with great passion and tenderness for the music at hand. Bravissimo Poland!

I always enjoy the bassoon, but haven't until now heard it as a solo instrument. This young lady has really got the most out of it, a stunning performance from her, the conductor and the rest of this young and extremely talented orchestra. And, of course another winner for the excelent Vivaldi.

However live also heard the Bassoonist do this. I suspect it’s because is such a deep and powerful instrument that is easily heard.

These young people have presented the world with a powerful gift of music and Vivaldi was handled with great skill. Mój syn gra na fagocie jako instrument dodatkowy. Po 3 miesiącach nauki wygrał konkurs w Wadowicach. Instrument wspaniały, nie ma co mówić. Pani Klaudia gra bardzo pięknie. Osobiście ja zainteresowałem się fagotem po odsłuchaniu Loli De Scours. Też pięknie gra! Wykonanie z teledysku genialne !!

I am quite moved by the sight of young talented musicians that keep the legacy of old masters alive and touching our hearts. Only the delicate human touch, virtuosity and musicianship extract from those instruments the sounds and harmonies that inspired musicians to compose these masterpieces. Of his many of concertos, we are grateful that Vivaldi gave the spotlight to the humble bassoon many times with its distinctive sound to the delight of many music lovers. I love, just love the bassoon. It’s like the cello in quite a few aspects(versatility, registers, similar warmth to the tone). In fact, I am composing a woodwind trio and I’m thinking of having the bassoon as part of the trio because of the versatility.
I haven't heard a bad composition by Vivaldi, I think if he had written a triangle and comb concerto it would have been brilliant. Lovely to hear the bassoon as a solo instrument, Klaudia is really making it sing, an excellent performance from the whole orchestra, thank you for the upload, very enjoyable.
