    Comments:
A classic game that I couldn't get through as a child because I thought it was too difficult and I didn't have the reflexes to deal with the enemies. This game renewed the military FPS genre. It's impressive, especially for the time, all the enemies' movements and reactions. When they get shot in the helmet, it falls off. Shots to different parts of the body cause different reactions. When they die, they fall down shooting, or even their weapon falls to the ground shooting a little. When they see you, some shoot upwards to get friends attention. When you throw a grenade, they run away from it, or run to pick it up and throw it back at you. All of this makes the game more immersive. When you enter an air duct, an enemy can enter too! Right in the third stage, there are dogs that run towards you, an interesting element that was only included in this stage! (By the way, the enemies' speeches echoing through the corridors and the whistles and dogs' barks before you even see them give this stage a unique atmosphere). Another highlight is the movie soundtrack, typical of Dreamworks productions at the time, which increases the suspense in the level. The game's difficulty is progressive, in some stages I had to restart a few times, and the last one even worried me because of the seemingly infinite respawn of enemies, but then I realized that it wasn't really like that. The mission in the cave, full of enemies with bazookas, was perhaps the most difficult, because bazookas are one-hit kills, and there were many with them. On the other hand, the game has the effect of getting the character stuck in doors, corridors, ledges, and corners, typical of PS1 FPS mechanics. At the end of one level (5-3) I got stuck on a ramp meters from the end of the level, and luckily I managed to get out. I also found the enemies a bit slow. There are a few moments of reaction time so you can shoot them first, and when they appear on the "horizon", you can see them before they see you. However, sometimes enemies appear right behind you, making them appear out of nowhere and surprising you in a way that shouldn't have, because you had already checked a section that had no enemies. Another questionable point is the controls. I ended up leaving it on setting 5, which I found to be the most suitable for playing. The intention was to do an Any%, but I almost got 100%. I got all the medals from the missions, and I was only a few stages missing the 3 stars. If I played once more these stages I would certainly get it, but I didn't care about that either. I was already satisfied with my final rating of Head Hunter, with almost 1000 headshots throughout the game. I only felt the lack of an endgame, a credits screen, something so basic, because there was simply the video at the end of the last mission, as there is in all of them, and it ended, returning to the selection screen. Overall, it's an excellent game, a reference in its time, of historical importance and that is still fun to play.

Something about these old metal of honors and CoDs is that they showed actual war footage, something you won't see anymore. Nowadays they won't even put the correct flag because it's "offensive" much less show actual footage of the man himself.
