could not have said it better. The Beatles were a miracle that we got to witness - Paul and the boys have given me more happiness than any other person or thing in my life.
I was 10 years old on a February evening in 1964, watching the Ed Sullivan show when the Beatles took the stage. My life as a kid in Kansas was at once enriched and illuminated. Memories from before that day are in black and white, and after, they’re in color. I collected all their albums, first on vinyl, later on cassette and CD. Now, thanks to iTunes, I’ve got them all and regularly jack the volume up to ten. I can imagine my dearly departed mom, yelling from the heavenly dimension, “turn it down!”
He doesn't expect a laugh track everytime he speaks. Remember he's used to the very old talk shows where the interviews were not about being funny. If a joke didn't fly, it didn't matter
Mary Bruun actually he has had some work done before, but it was a number of years ago. It was minimal work though. I heard him say this in an interview.
Paul came to my country and had a free concert a few years ago. 16 hours of waiting for the show to start were absolutely worth it and I would do it again. I'm so happy I got to see the man play live, now I can die happily.
He came to my hometown Nagoya for the first time, it was in 2018 and back then I was an poor university student. I had no money to get a ticket to get in to the stadium so I came close to a door and listened him sing very carefully with my ear on it. When me and a friend of mine was doing that poor stuffs, some old madams came to doors next to us listening him like us, ears on the door. It was a very cold day. Such a wonderful memory he gave to me. Thank you Paul.
I love you so much, Sir Paul McCartney. We're so blessed to have you still ♡ I cried so much during your concert in Oslo, Norway. Everything was so perfect. Seeing you live was on my bucket list ♡
Paul is truly a living legend .. but what's most important to me is he never forgets where he comes from a true scouser like myself ... im so proud of him
Just to see how Paul has grown and developed, is absolutely brilliant. He answers everything innocently honestly. Ego? What is ego? His personality is pure and untarnished. In spite of a few nasty people's nasty comments in his past. He's risen above all of it. His legacy is already showing him as one of the modern master composers of our time. A modern Beethoven? I think so.
Paul's mention of Dark Side of The Moon was sarcasm. Paul McCartney’s contributions to the album were deleted - but the Beatles made a surprise appearance on the record. In an attempt to further tie Dark Side‘s songs together, Roger Waters came up with the idea of recording interviews with Abbey Road staffers, road crew members, and anyone else working at the studio - asking them a series of questions about subjects ranging from the banal (favorite colors and foods) to the deeply serious (madness and death) - and then threading some of the interview snippets into the final mix. Paul McCartney, who was finishing Wings’ Red Rose Speedway album at Abbey Road, was actually among the interviewees, but Waters deemed his answers unusable. “He was the only person who found it necessary to perform, which was useless, of course,” Waters told Pink Floyd biographer John Harris. “I thought it was really interesting that he would do that. He was trying to be funny, which wasn’t what we wanted at all.” Even so, McCartney - or at least his music - still managed to make a brief appearance on the album. If you listen close to the end of “Eclipse,” the album’s closing track, a passage from an orchestral version of the Beatles’ “Ticket to Ride” can be heard; the song was apparently playing in the background at the studio while Abbey Road doorman Gerry O’Driscoll (who delivered the immortal lines, “There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it’s all dark. The only thing that makes it look light is the sun.”) was being recorded. McCartney's Wings bandmate Henry McCullough contributed the line "I don't know, I was really drunk at the time" to the song Money.
@@paulies5407 I agree. Back To The Egg features David Gilmour as well as other songs by McCartney over the years. Definitely was not sarcasm. That guy doesnt know what hes talking about. The recorded interview pieces is true but the sarcasm comment is just wrong.

I saw Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr this July 13th, 2019! After Paul finished his concert he had an encore and brought up Ringo Starr to the stage!!
If Paul comes to my house and says marry me , the answer is yes . Forget about the 55 age difference
God damn I agree
me too!!🥰
Zen-chan they’re both adults 18+ the FBI doesn’t give a damn 😂
Same, and I’m a straight middle aged man

Paul is down to earth. Hes funny, hes polite, never arrogant. Hes a Sir, for certain. Happy with you, Paul.
3:15 On a sidenote, Pink Floyd's guitarist once said in an interview (I think) that it was kind of sad that he could never just buy a new floyd album, put on the headphones and listen to it for the first time.
Ohhh wow. It's true, they will never hear it with new ears
was dave gilmore having that in common its no wonder they are friends,,seen dave play lead for paul at a gig on youtube
the album he was refering was dark side of the moon

Can we all just agree that there’s no such thing as a perfect human, and that Lennon-McCartney was a genius songwriting partnership?
Paul is such a gem he’s never allowed to die 😤
Everyone has to die. Don't be a kid.

@@stipe9k Yah. It's my job to teach children the beauty of life.
@@praponhaque1375 The original comment was a person expressing their love for an artist they never want to die, but they know that he is going to die someday. You act as if that person doesn't know it so you can teach them some life lessons and be a proud grown-up. It's either that or you knew what they meant, but still decided to be an asshole and call them out. Perhaps you thought you were being funny. As a third person, I can tell you you're not.

I like him with his natural gray hair. Looks very distinguished.
Can someone explain to me, how does Paul look like he's 35 years old (with a steady crack-habbit, granted. Still, could pass for a 35'er -easy)? Is it botox, face lift, and the whole nine yards of Hollywood plastic surgery, or just immaculate genetics? Perplexed old fan here. I was 20 when Revolver came out in 1966, and I look like a fucking bag of shriveled crisps nowadays - meanwhile he's fucking guzzling down Evian bottles laced with Cialis, looking all perky and sassy, on these (ultra-redundant) American late night talk shows.
Wtf he does not look 35 at all

Read more carefully. "granted, a 35'er with a _crack habbit_ ". You're welcome there, Georgie chap!
The color is natural. The amount likely isn't. Haha.
Not siding with anybody here, but LOL to your response!!!!!
Grand Central Station....lol Paul retire? Obviously touring is not about the money considering Paul's net worth is somewhere around $1.3 BILLION dollars. He just loves what he does, playing and singing entertaining people all over the world. God bless you Paul!
Kevin Cercie ....it def not about the money....but he is sure leaving his mark in the music books. He knows when he goes that no will be able to follow what he did and will be studied for what he did
Paul could've retired after Wings in 1979. He's kept going for decades because making music is what he does. He is a natural songwriter and performer.
Exactly my thoughts. He loves touring and making music. I believe part of how great he looks(healthy), is because he just loves what he does and it makes him happy.
Even Paul's worst songs are better than most today's artist best..he can write in his sleep..thinks of melody and harmonies simultaneously....icon. legend. Cant imagine a day when he's no longer here...77 years old in 2019 and June 7 2019 Sir Ringo is 79 ..peace and love
He ID write in his sleep. YESTERDAY and LADY MADONNA to name two. Listen to him tell the stories! 🌹

Paul is My favorite Beatle. I went to his show last year and was one of the best shows ive ever been. Such a great positive energy!
5:16 WHY DIDN’T ANYONE LAUGH THAT WAS SO AWKWARD. I love Paul sm.
I laughed :D
Audience was clueless....
He doesn't expect a laugh track everytime he speaks. Remember he's used to the very old talk shows where the interviews were not about being funny. If a joke didn't fly, it didn't matter
I absolutely love the fact that Sir Paul hasn’t had any plastic surgery! He’s amazing

He is the number one inspiration for my music. Still is. The new album is killer.

Paul McCartney is Irish. Ethnically Irish. He said it, so its true.
I think so.
Paul has always been a class act.His Music sets the standard for Love through Music. God bless you Paul!
I love how Fallon talks to him like a fan, you can see the admiration there
Paul's mention of Dark Side of The Moon was sarcasm.
He was trying to be funny, which wasn’t what we wanted at all.”
Even so, McCartney - or at least his music - still managed to make a brief appearance on the album.
Thank's that was interesting.
Yeah that was interesting. Very cool.
Paul actually loves Pink Floyd and is a great friend of David Gilmore

@@paulies5407 I agree. Back To The Egg features David Gilmour as well as other songs by McCartney over the years. Definitely was not sarcasm. That guy doesnt know what hes talking about. The recorded interview pieces is true but the sarcasm comment is just wrong.
