    I randomnly found this channel about 15 minutes ago and I don't regret it.
    Your father is great. As it seems, you guys have a great relationship together. Something I never had with my father. He probably doesn't even know if I am alive or not.
    Keep your family close. Some of us don't have one and wish we did. Don't take it for advantage. Cherish the time you guys have left with eachother.

      You've probably found it by now, but this channel is relatively new and solely dedicated to the cooking. The son/vlogger, jetbentlee, has another channel where this concept was born from, so if you're looking for more content like this, check that one out too! There's a lot more personal stuff to dig through, but the cooking with dad vids are all great like this.

    It’s crazy because people wouldn’t normally eat Bonita in the states it’s mainly used for bait due to its high blood content but of course the master chef made it edible 🙌🏽🔥

      I think cause the fish was rather small, the center wasn't as prevalent which is the bloodiest part of the fish. He paired good flavor to the fish.

      i think the secret to cutting through that irony fishy taste to use lots of acidity, like citrus juice, and im sure that soy sauce marinade helped alot aswell

    I miss my father so much, when I was back home in the Islands he would go Fishing and cook right in front of us and also the way he fillet a big giant yellow fin Tuna almost the same height as him. 😅 love love love. Thank you for sharing.

    I love the videos, your relationship with your dad, and the interesting tidbits Susur is sharing ;to me your dad is an icon and trailblazer, especially for Asian- North American cuisine- you should do a video about his restaurant as it is today. follow him around during his day to day. you and him should do a cook off- that would be fun to watch

    This shows you how important it is to have a close relationship with your children. No matter what career you have as a father. The bond should always stay true. No judgment on tattos which im also covered with. Pure family love.

    That other fish is called a Yellow Jack. I caught one last week off a pier. It was flaky, juicy and surprisingly delicious. Way better than amber or almaco jack. I even told my brother I'm doing sashimi next time I catch one. Love this content!

      @@colemix1852 there are many Asian dish that use coconut water, whether as an actual ingredients or as marination, it usually gives rather complex flavor of mix between sweet and savory

    I've never known my father except his name, he wasn't interested in a relationship with me and had a whole 'nother family somewhere else. I love watching these videos, it's like getting to live vicariously! Your dad is the absolute best.

    1:33 that mystery fish is a bar Jack. They are very delicious and they also are identifiable by the light blue and black stripe running down their backs. They are very fairly common throughout the southwest Atlantic Ocean.
