I'm 38 and just recently started reading manga comics online. Even though I can't understand any of the mangas in Japanese and Chinese (😅), I still love and appreciate the fantastic artwork. I prefer the ones in color though.
Here's a few you may have listed but I'll mention in case you didn't, Yutaka Minowa (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, Animatrix) Leiji Matsumoto (Captain Harlock, Interstellar 555) Katsuya Kondo (Studio Ghibli, Jade Cocoon) Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Paprika) Additional Capcom Artists: Harumaru and newest edition Mita Chisato.
I love seeing fantasy sci-fi, especially, an He-Man like sci-fi fantasy. I also enjoy, fantasy sci-fi, like a Pokémon like world. A world, that's basically this reality, but with fantasy creatures, and technology behaving like magic.
Ah yes you are right, good point. I inserted the wrong cover art (needed the original one). Frustrating that when I search on Abe this Obata's cover and promotional art is labeled to Abe a lot haha, well... I'll take the hit in a video as big as this one.
Great stuff man! It always makes me so happy to see these artists getting some love and recognition, since most of the times we love them through their works without knowing their names. Thanks for the work!!
There is also Suu Minazuki, the mangaka for Heaven's Lost Property, and Nakaba Suzuki, who created the Seven Deadly Sins manga. Thank you for showing me more artists I have not heard of.
The youtube comments section is glitched. All my screen text is black so I hope this gets through. This is the most impiortant manga channel in my opinion.
Please do an episode on Rei Hiroe! Dude is a perfect example of one of the many artists inspired by Akiman & Bengus. As well as his inspirations from film directors like John Woo, Quentin Tarantino, & Robert Rodriguez. And abit of Stephen King. His style is just a perfect blend of "90s Cool". From both the East & West.
Thanks for putting him on my radar! It’s a shame I didn’t know about him earlier-I would have definitely added him to the list. His art is really cool and has a sharp, distinctive style.
I checked the script, and you’re right-I did make that mistake. Good that you noticed it! The first time I mentioned her, it was just a quick 4-second mention that she was a female artist, and then later, I noted her works like Inuyasha and Ranma art, etc. This video was overkill, haha

Thanks Murdrew! Indeed, one such artist is Bengus, 99.9% of people who play street fighter have 100% seen his works but never knew who he was :P

I haven't seen Danganronpa creator, Xenoblade 2 Saito or Type-Moon's mahoyo illustrator.

Take your time :P its a lot of artist mashed back-to-back.
Nobuteru Yuki. My personal inspiration( vision of escaflowne, record of lodoss war, space battleship Yamato 2199, chrono cross)

I feel, no one cares and talks about, Karakuridôji Ultimo. I feel, no one knows about it.
