I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the UA-cam channel you will explore.

I have never used Rituximab for FSGS. However, response may take a few weeks.

can ckd stage 3 patients use secondary medicines like drugs for cholestrol, uric acid, sodium bicarbonate etc. intermittently? my results mostly borderline outside range. also, in last video u mentioned finerenone can be used in addition to arb/ace inhibitors and sglt-2 inhibitors. but my nephrologist said it is not evident to be beneficial in ckd patients without diabetes and trials still in progess, hence not approved by sfda for ckd.
Yes he is right, the trials for using Finrenone are only completed for CKD in Type 2 daibetes. But don't worry, there will be evidence for benefitial effects of these medicines in CKD alone soon. Actually, there is a trial going on right now to see the benefits of heart failure of these drugs in CKD patients. So you may have to wait.

Kya ye transplant ke baad bhi ho sakti hai. Age 38 yrs. Mera transplant huya hai.fsgs lesions involving 1/20 of sampled glomeruli. Ye likha hai .
