All the national media should stop using the sentence " Tribals including Nagas & Kukis constitute 40% of the total population in Manipur"... The nagas are not involved so no need to count them when reporting the current conflict. The Kukis constitute only appx 13% of the total population & Meiteis are 55% with control of all state machinery.

If this is the logic then throw this colonial garbage called constitution because majority of it is taken from Governemnt of India Act 1935 which was a British document to govern India and majority of present problem in India can be traced back to British colonialism or British Mis-Rule of India so you cannot solve a problem (i.e current socio-political-economic problems of India) with the same mind (i.e Government of India Act 1935) that created it.
The Indian constitution needs to be amended because most of the laws are enacted by the British Raj, that way there'll be no segregation on the basis of ethnic lines.

I think Kuki's should also understand the complexity of the situation and not claim each and every land they inhabit to be their indigenous, ancestral and their motherland.
Because all I hear from some Kuki people is that they claim to be indigenous to Manipur/ Nagaland/ Assam/ Mizoram/ Bangladesh/ Myanmar/ some parts of Meghalaya too.
Which is not possible. You cannot be indigenous to a certain place because you live there...your true identity and ancestral land is not a place where you inhabit in any place on earth but it is where you came or come from.
So the situation seems to be very very complicated since none from each side are ready to reconcile. Just let peace prevail in the name of brotherhood and sisterhood. Enough is enough!

If you read between the lines, he basically confessed to orchestrating this violence. He even openly blamed one community for all the bad things.

And please kindly change Letpao Haokip, the state Tribal Minister who have not attend his office since May 2023 thus other tribal communities are suffering due to his absence from office. . Union tribal Minister have said the crisis in Manipur is law and order problem, if its law and order problem the central forces should put it under control and thats it.. There is no room for SA or UT for kukis..Kuki-Zo people have got Mizoram state for their people why a UT or 2nd state for Kuki-Zo people in India? No community in India have 2 states in India.. Kuki-Zo demand for another state or UT is unfounded..

This man is incompetent to be CM of a frontier state like Manipur. The only reason he has remained in office is because he is a BJP CM. The fact that BJP has lost both the LS Seats to Congress in the recent elections is proof that this man has lost all credibility amongst all the ethnic communities in Manipur, - the Meitis, the Kukis and the Nagas. His family is also responsible for illegal Marijuana Farming in Andro and some other parts of Manipur. Poppy is planted by Kuki, Naga,Nepali, Meitei, and the main cost of production for Poppy is borne by Meitei and Meitei Muslim community. As Poppy cultivation and its market value gains momentum N.Biren Sing family's business of Marijuana decline perpetually.
