jeez, these kids are crazy! when I was 7-8 I think the most challenging drill we had to do was skating around the circles forward and backward with the puck, and half of us couldn't do it... I wish I had training like this video. holy cow.
These little guys play for the Avtomobilist junior club in Yekaterinburg, Russia it seems. I recognized their team logo. The KHL is a great league! I'm to get to see it live quite often. Cheers from Moscow 🇷🇺🤘
Maybe you will be able to tell me who were they playing at the end? The white team looked so much weaker. I was wondering if it was some other Russian team or team from other country...
Finland, Sweden, USA, Czech, Canada and Russia are the best teams of the world. Germany played brilliantly at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Hope this becomes a tradition. Respect from Russia.
these kids are atom age players n if you go watch any atom hockey game a lot of the kids don't pass any way. the drills they are doing are puck protection drills which is very important to learn at a young age n it's cool to see the stick handling drill on the dry land you don't see that to often nowadays.

One thing I would like to see more emphasis on in Russian hockey is a return to a strong team passing game. Need more Soviet style. Not many coached teaching this anymore. I follow Russian hockey close for many years now.
Russian style has always been based on the high level of player technology. Hockey in North America is based on a power struggle (this is facilitated by small grounds). However, you can quickly learn the power struggle, but if you have not been given technical skills in childhood, you will never become a master of dribbling. Therefore, Russian hockey players adapt perfectly in North America, having a high level of technical skill, they quickly learn to fight power and that is why many Russian hockey players immediately become leaders and hockey stars in North America. On a small platform, all these technical elements look more spectacular than on a large one. When there was a shutout in the NHL, many hockey players went to play in the Continental Hockey League in Russia, not a single American and Canadian could not become really bright players in the Continental Hockey League. A large area and a large number of players with high technical skills made power hockey pale and not interesting. Even very mediocre hockey players from Russia, possessing a high level of technical skill, quickly learned to move away from power techniques on a large site, and technical skill helped them in this. If you want a lot of power techniques, then this is North America hockey. if you want a lot of technical elements, dribbling is in Russia.

I'm 16 and there's no way I'm better than these kids at most of these drills. This hurts my pride.
Prosper im 14 and i think they skate so much betrer than me. Hate germany because most in my team aren't as good as these kids
Mart1nTV I live in the United States on the Northern part of the West coast. There's little to no hockey of any kind here.
Prosper im from the Seattle area and our skill development isnt even close to these kids lol where in the northwest are you from?
A nice check would put them out of commission.

Blazej Malachowski so true tho

Да нет, там в конце видно, что за счёт того, что у вратаря скромные габариты - все шайбы залетают, не может ещё зоны закрывать.

Agree. Team Russia coached by Vyacheslav Bykov was the last best iteration of Soviet-style hockey. Miss this game style so much!
