Congratulations, finally a GOOD video on how to improve at this game. I always notice that when I "slow down" I get around a 2 KD, then I get cocky and start rushing and sprinting a lot and die without getting kills. I'll slow down and try to use these tips, maybe even rewatch the video a couple of times.
Me too haha, I'm just playing for fun at the end of the day but I have to keep myself humble and ask what mistakes are causing my deaths, playing slower and more carefully is rewarded in battlebit!
@@ClippyTactical I believe one can play "fast", but you need to be extremely good, have great reflexes and less than 30 ping. And with all that still the only guns that are suited for fast playstyle are MP7 P90 Vector and not much more I think. Also C4 ahah. As I keep improving I will try more and more to become faster and do those crazy plays that we see in the clips because let's be honest that is a fun playstyle.
Damn i can't believe i havent found you since now. Been playing since the playtest and been watching Battlebit on YT alot. Nice to see another creator.
Great video! ive seen your sniper one since i wanted to get into sniping and now im watching every one that you make! also would be cool to see a video where you show cool loadouts for different guns etc i think that would've been also helpful
I can definitely make loadout videos, any in particular you're interested in? I would can probably instantly talk about the M4A1 as it's the weapon I've been using a lot within these clips here as it's a rank 0 gun for new players/when I prestige.
One thing to add as well is have a higher dpi than you think, I’ve found you want to be able to use the least amount of movement of your hand as possible and this also improves your recoil control. So if you’re having a hard time with recoil or aiming try uping your dpi and there will be a dpi amount that will just click and suddenly you can land shots very easily
Great video, I think you should do another one on sound queues and map awareness when spawning. The amount of people I have seen be totally oblivious to someone pushing because they can't separate the friendly sounds from enemies is crazy.
I can make one for patch 2.2.4's audio, the problem is is that Battlebit's audio is regularly changing and is going to be updated soon again, so it would possibly be outdated info fast. I could make it as a short-form guide (2-5 min, less edits/analysis), as these edited "video essays" take me quite a while Edit: Also, audio depends quite heavily on your personal setup! I do have nice headphones and I can pick up directional audio pretty easily in current patch, but it's a common complaint that people can't for Battlebit right now.
hey Clippy. after i watched your video i have the feeling that i'm much more aware of positioning on the map - and it worked. i played the first round and got an amazing 21k 5d score. that was pretty unusual for me. thank you!
So great that you liked it! The design focuses on being fun, over trying to shovel microtransactions/battlepass/loot crates at you which is really refreshing given the AAA titles that come out these days.
You're right in that the speed isn't really slow taken by itself, but it's slow relative to the TTK in game. If someone is in the open it's quite hard for them to get to cover in time. A lot of the time the deaths feel near-instant. Compare it to an fps like apex/warzone where the movement speed is snappy and ttk much longer. In apex/warzone, if you're running around a corner you have time to evade and get shields/plates up again. In battlebit, the movement is slow enough where if you're caught out, you're going to die.
These are great tips for higher KD but if you just want higher kill games and don’t care about KD you should use more of a run and gun play style with more movement speed. Another tactic that I don’t see people using nearly enough is jump spamming and turning super quickly in mid air as you don’t lose momentum when you turn allowing you to get out of impossible situations
There's three metrics of "player skill", k/d, score per min and kills per min. You have to pick between playing for K/d or the per min stats, because as you said, they require very different techniques. You're right about air strafing, if/when I make a sequel that's going in for sure. And dropshotting
I'd say the SMG with no armor is meta for farming the KPM and SPM stats, but not KD unless you're exceptionally cracked at aiming (and that's not me!). I'm not much of a tank or scout heli player myself but I agree that these are probably the best two ways to farm high K/D overall as there's quite limited counterplay for each, especially if they're near spawn as you said.
There's already an Rpg section on my sniper guide (put in as a semi-serious meme as it's quite good at long range snipes in battlebit). I suppose I could cover the different types of Rpgs?

Another banger from Clippy! Keep it up bro!

Thank you, I'm not producing too much right now but when the update drops...

For me i dont have any particular in mind im just looking for builds for any weapons to try them out! @@ClippyTactical

Glad to hear! Still need to make a sequel vid
Thanks, mate. I'm the guy who you convinced to buy the game. Couldn't have made a better purchase. And yes, I did all this wrong.

@@ClippyTactical True! btw, thanks for this video. My K/D is 0.034... so I can really use this.
Great tips. Also watching your aim and recoil control...i need to start working on my mouse play.
Thanks - A sequel of these is definitely on the cards, keep looking out for it!
Can you make a video on grenade and other throwables? I see how bad I am at it and others, but I have no clue how to fix it.
Really good idea! I'll definitely be making this one!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching!
I have never once heard battlebit movement described as slow, but I'll take it

@@ClippyTactical Great explanation of what you mean!
Haha, I just discovered myself getting killed at 8:05. Not appearing in this clip would also improve the KD. Greetings from Germany ODIN-354

What abuut FoV set?
Fov depends on your screen resolution and physical distance you sit from the screen. That said, I could do a full settings guide
Here's how to improve your k/d. Step 1 take SMG, step 2, sprint with no armor and flank the enemy, step 3 ?????, step 4 = profit
Bonus; always drive an APC or tank and fire at the enemy from a distance where you have cover and can easily fall back for repairs.
I'd say the SMG with no armor is meta for farming the KPM and SPM stats, but not KD unless you're exceptionally cracked at aiming (and that's not me!).

Pro tip: report top player on opposing team for "racism and descrimination"
Damn that's good 💯
